Sandy Naquin's service was above and beyond what I have experienced at any other Uhaul locations. Sandy was courteous, respectful, and made the rental process a pleasurable experience. Uhaul and Apple Tree Storage is fortunate to have her as an employee. I hope that you actually take there time to share this with Sandy, she deserves the recognition. I will rent from her again. JAMES JAll the tires for full of dried mud prior to me picking it up. Cab floor could have used a light cleaning as well. I was shocked that a professional business would rent out a truck covered in mud.

Richard W"My overall experience with U-Haul was horrible. The truck was dirty, poorly maintained, and unsafe to drive-it swerved dangerously, and the doors wouldn't even close properly. To make matters worse, customer service was just as bad. I had issues with the app and had to call the 1-800 number for help. While the representative tried to assist, she mistakenly changed my pickup time from 12:00 PM to 11:30 PM instead of 11:30 AM. I didn't realize the error until I arrived at 6:30 PM to pick up the truck. The app wouldn't work because U-Haul only allows a 30-minute window for early pickups, which added even more frustration. Overall, this was an awful experience, and I wouldn't recommend U-Haul to anyone."

NATHEN MWhen I got there to pick up, my uhaul was not there.I waited 2 hours and they finally came with the uhaul that I reserved. They made me bring the uhaul back to the same location that was 30 minutes away. I did, talked to the manager and told her I was on my way and when I got there at 10:30 in the morning, she closed the shop. I waited awhile thinking she would come back, but never did. I ended calling the main office and got someone to come disconnect me from my suv. I am handicapped and couldn't do it myself. The main office was giving me a full refund, but I haven't seen it yet! Very disappointed! to the manager that I was on my way

MICHELLE CMy reserved rental was blocked in with no employee on site to move the other vehicle. After an hour on the phone with uhaul, I finally got my rental. The vehicle had less then an 1/8 of gas, and once to my destination I discovered it had no dolly. I was later told the dolly was previously stolen and had not been replaced. I asked for a partial refund and was told sorry, but nothing they could do about the experience. Worst rental I have ever had and not a good moment for uhaul

william kI returned my rentals to this location, as it was closer to my new residence. Everything was going okay until they added an additional $213 to my bill by charging me for an additional day, which I returned an hour earlier than required, and an additional $600 for a change of drop locations, which I was told would be around $30.00. I am still waiting for someone from the location and/or corporate to contact me regarding this matter.
Charles PI parked out of the way to avoid confusion. I entered the building and was told to just leave the equipment where it was and I would receive an email. I chose not to and did the return myself using the return process on the U-Haul app. Glad I chose this option vice "just leave it out there".

aaron mThe U-Haul App does not work. You need to develop an app that actually can work. It took us 40 minutes to pick up the truck. This is far too long. U-Haul used to function more efficiently.
Edwin JNo one was at the location. Waited over 2 hours and I was lucky that a U-Haul district manager came along and was able to help me get the trailed that I needed. Two of the front tie downs were broken.

jerry fTanya at Apple Tree Storage was courteous and knowledgable-- a complete pro. Rental van had <20 000 miles, and functioned perfectly for a 600 mile round trip. Clean, ice cold AC, decent radio, and plenty of power. I would recommend Tanya @ Apple Tree Storage in Gonzales LA, and the Ford Sprinter 250 Van for smaller moves (1 bedroom apartment) without hesitation.
