It was easy to find my truck.

MANUEL FDrop off was a breeze. The guys at the Aubuchon Hardware in Shelburne Falls, where I dropped it off, were very friendly and available. Glad they're right around the corner from where I'm moving!
DAVID WVery used truck (120k miles) Rough front end with a good shake esp @ 50 mph Very poor gas mileage (9mpg) Seemed overpriced, a bit of a ripoff Will warn, not recommend. Location pleasant, almost apologetic over the price, easy enough.
STEPHEN CThe app to take photos of the condition of the truck did not take photos, it did not work. So when I checked the box to say it was dirty inside, it would not let me proceed without a photo, which was not working. So just to be able to even use the truck I had to lie and say it was clean

PETER Mmy only problem was i lived in Ct and had to drive 2 hours to pick up and I called customer service and the woman was not so nice: she said its all we have it take it or leave didn't even try to help I was stressing out due to my 2900 mile move and I had to go 2 hours out of my way , actually 4 hours, 2 each way and when I reserved .I specifically picked Boston Rd , in Springfield because it was half an hour away . this is what made the experince not so good, but the placed I picked up were very nice and the drop off place in Boise, ID were also very nice
elvira wAdvertise the 'plus mileage' along with the charge per day. If I perchange the opportunity to recommend this location, I will be sure to mention that beforehand.

MICHAEL SDropped off at a well run local hardware store in Western MA that is always courteous and professional.
Thomas RMy original reservation for a larger vehicle was inaccessible bc I was getting multiple errors from the website and app when I tried to log in to pick up the truck remotely. Customer service was ZERO help. He suggested I "delete my cookies" then hung up. I tried on my cell, my laptop, my partner's cell and laptop. Same error messages. "Cannot send onetime code" "you have reached the maximum # of attempts" "web service returned status 500" I could not log in. Could not change my password. This forced me to take a cargo van instead of a 15 ft truck 10 mi away (instead of a few blocks away) and caused me to start my move 2 hrs late, and required several trips of loading and unloading back and forth. When I tried to return the truck to the hardware store same error messages occurred. When I arrived the guy working at the hardware store was closing up and just said "yeah that happens a lot. Just drop your key in the box and I'll take care of it in the morning." Uhaul, this is ridiculous. I paid more for less bc I had to pay for mileage to a location I was forced to use while the truck I reserved sat unused just blocks away.

Victor NThe folks at Aubuchon Hardware provided great service, were personable and made check in and check out easy, the van was in great shape - it even had comfortable seats!- the equipment was all there and in working order. I will use this location again the next time I use U-Haul.

thomas yThe staff at the hardware store said they just take the keys and are unable to connect with customer service. They have no knowledge about rentals beyond taking the keys.

Kimberly TI've rented from this location before and they were excellent. I dropped the trailer off after hours, so no one was there. They subsequently sent me an email to say that everything was OK.
DANA GGet this location better vehicles. The truck I rented drove like garbage. Front end was loose and it shook like a banshee.

Christine JWhile Aubuchon Hardware did a great job, dealing with U Haul was terrible. The U Haul app and website were both very "glitchy", and as usual I got a late night call the day before saying I would have to pick up my truck at another site 30-40 miles away. This has occurred every time I tried to rent from U-Haul. Fortunately, the folks at Aubuchon had told me to ignore the call from U Haul, and so I had a fairly good experience.
John Gthey made me pick it up in the location which was over an hour away. When the local U-Haul have the same trailers I would never use them again.

Audrey CThe truck had a tire with 30 psi instead of 80 psi. I had to drive to the nearest gas station 7 miles away to fill up the tire.
David SI had NO issue with the courteous personnel at this location. The guys there were terrific. (And please tell them!) It was the fact of the GREAT inconvenience of traveling 1-hour from my 'desired pick-up' to obtain the trailer. This is the reason for my poor rating

Cathleen BUnfortunately they did not have the furniture pads I reserved. Not to mention I reserved a truck in Bennington VT and had to drive over an hour to pick up truck in Shelbourne Falls MA, 45 miles away. Not cool when gas is $5 a gallon for a truck that gets 8 mpg. Was told to get credit for pads from drop off location. Drop off said originator needed to issue credit for pads, Ended up filing a dispute through my credit card company. Cluster
