I had to sweep the back but it has insulation in there before I got the truck.

JANET POriginal pickup location was Columbia Marathon in Columbia Station, OH but they were not open at the contracted time for pickup. After talking to Uhauls great customer care team the Bagley Golf location did an excellent job providing service & equipment!
NICHOLAS MOriginally I had my reservation for the Columbia Station location. However, I showed up and nobody was there, the doors were all locked and lights were off even though the store was supposed to be open. I called multiple times and nobody answered so I had to switch my reservation to the Bagley Road location which was further away but luckily had the size truck I needed. I would recommend Bagley Road but WOULD NOT recommend Columbia Station.

Mary EIt is a Marathon gas station now, not Gulf. I'm glad I picked this location. Staff was knowledgeable, helpful, organized, AND courteous, a rare combo compared to other U-Haul dealers. (Or anyone for that matter?) The small convenience store was well-organized which gave another sign that they had their stuff together. Definitely super convenient to have the pumps right there to fill up upon drop-off. Nice to make one stop at the end of a long hard day of moving instead of two. Only knock on that is that the fuel prices reflect this convenience, but oh well. My only negative is that the engine and transmission in my truck drove as if it was about ready to give out, and that's even on an empty truck, after idling it for several minutes (not a cold engine), and driving it quite gently. That's a knock on U-Haul itself which continues to desperately need upgrades to their fleet (not my first time receiving a U-Haul truck of questionable quality), and not a knock on this particular location.

STACY HI was looking for a4x6 but there was not one in the Cleveland are so I had to get a 6x12 and pay extra for it Not fair to the consumer at all. Not this location's fault uhauls fault for lack of resources. They should take this in to consideration when charging. Not the independent distributor

Mickhael CYou need to fix your breakdown policy. It's crazy that you have customers taking different pictures or anything before going forward with sending someone to fix the truck especially when the weather is 5 degrees outside. If my wife rented a truck and it broke down I would be pissed if she had to jump hoops to get someone out to fix it. I told the person on the I wasn't taking any pictures it's 5 degrees outside and said if I was woman what would happen and they said we would explain to her how to open hood and what we need. I'm sorry that because of cell phones you folks think they are part of renting your trucks. I told you the truck is broke down and the address it's at and my name and truck # is all you should need to get me service. People are already aggravated having to move and rent the truck we don't need more aggravation if the truck breaks down. This type of customer care didn't exist before cell phones and shouldn't apply today. Could you imagine if it was an Executive from U-hauls wife or daughter that broke down and had to go thru what I did and get pissed just to get someone outto fix the vehicle they had rented. I bet their wife would have a fit. But they make enough money to pay someone than have to use their own equipment.

JASON J1. Associate couldnt get into the system to get me checked in. Had to wait for someone to arrive that could help. Eventually associate figured out how to access the system. 2. I should have gotten credit back for unused gasoline that was charged up front. When I asked associate why my final bill wasnt less, I was told it would all balance out on credit card. WELL, it didnt. Associate just didnt know what she was doing and it was easier to say credit card would adjust.
LORI SVan smelled of stale cigarettes. No parking was available at location, was told I had to park next door at fiveguys. If my booking is ever changed to this location again I will just take my business elsewhere.
Chris KScheduled to rent a U-Haul truck from another location but when I arrived at that pickup location, the business was closed. Called U-Haul support and they were very helpful and transferred my reservation to another nearby pickup location.
Andrew SI would never come back to this uhual place more would I ever rent another uhual again there was no communication they told me they called me but up until I came to return the truck after them threatening to call and report the truck stolen did I receive any phone calls I got a few emails the one time I did call up there was to see about getting a extension on my lease they told me to do it over the phone it did not allow me to do that then I requested roadside side assistance they never showed up I had to pay out of my pocket to fixs the van and they still tried to make me put to be some thug . definitely will not be getting another uhual the crazy part is this is the first time using it and never again .
OREY RThis was the 2nd time I rented a truck from this location. & couldn't be happier with the efficiency in getting me in & out. Once again, the girl who helped me, Sam absolutely knew her stuff
ROBERT HLeft speaker doesn't work. Driver's seat has a lean to the left and the headlights are not angled properly making it difficult to drive at night on roads that are without street lights.
BARBARA PNothing to change or add. Only one problem tho. Being able to do the return process after store hours with your provided link. Other than that it's Great service!

EDWARD MUpon arrival, I was given the impression they did not want me to drop off the rental at their location, and even the description of the "car dolly" seemed to be confusing to them. By the end of the return process their attitude seemed better, however, it took away from the customer service service experience. I would use this location again due to the location being close by. The businesses location was ideal for my needs, however, it did not come up as an option with the search for available drop off points??? The options listed were much further away. WHY IS THIS? The way I discovered the location's existence was in a separate google maps search.

MARK SGreat service, and pickup was easy. The app was a little slow in loading but the CS on site was extremely helpful. We have rented before but the app and customer service is soo much better than it used to be... Kudos!!
John PWhen i turn the tailor in, the employee works that shift was very rude. The lady was short white lady. I will never go back to this location and will not recommend any of my friend. You guys should take care of this situation.

JOHN ZThe young woman that I dealt with had purple hair, my FAVORITE color by the way so it looked FABULOUS, but my point is, she needs to be promoted to management if she hasn't already. I have been a convenience store General Manager for many years and she had the best customer service skills I've seen in a while. Very positive and memorable experience. Will definitely do business with that location again

LAMONT EThere was a dirty carpet in the back of the trailer when I picked it up that I had to dispose of when I opened it at my loading point. Better management to ensure trailer is clean is necessary.

CHAD HIt was so difficult to even find the facility. I live about 2 miles away and drove around and around trying to find it. I had even used that gas station before and never noticed the small UHaul sign. The manager, at least he seemed to be the person in charge, was not friendly or helpful whatsoever. If the cost for renting a truck here was very high, I would never return.

ANDREW SMy experience with the app was horrible. I had major issues and delays with both check in and check out. Chat was unhelpful, and wait times to call were too long. It is only because of the in-person help at this location that I'll use uhaul again.
KENNETH HWhen I checked my email with the final charges I saw a $15 charge I was not told about when I reserved the van nor when I picked it up. When I called the store they said it's mandatory on all van rentals. That's deceptive practices. Why am I learning about this policy AFTER Amy card is charged and never told about it?

phylis sI had booked a much closer location but haul changed my booking to a location that is 14 miles from our destination each way. Theerefore we were charged M additional 26 miles which is $26 for a location that I didn't choose.
Tonya MThe truck had a very bad exhaust leak so we inhaled fumes for over 40 mins at a time driving. Made me very nauseous and it was 89° And the desk clerk returning it was very rude and unknowledgeable
Rachel LThis is a gas station with only one employee who was very nice but it is not as efficient as a u-haul location. It was just hard for him to take care of customers for gas and buying items while checking me out at the same time.

Richard TTruck IS IN INEXCUSABLY POOR CONDITION. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON, AXEL CANT TAKE WEIGHT SERIOUS RISK OF BREAK DOWN. IT IS A UNSAFE VEHICLE POORLY MAINTAINED. WILL NOT BE BACK.
Cheri FYour survey does not address the rental experience and focuses only on the facilities. Big miss in my opinion. Two weeks before I needed a truck, I made a reservation, identified the pick up area and truck size and received confirmation that all was well. It was not. First hurdle was that the pick up location was changed to a site 10 miles away from where I requested, and that the truck I reserved was not available so I was given a larger vehicle (from 15 ft. to 20 ft.). On the day of the rental, I proceeded to the pick-up facility (unmanned). As instructed, I had the app ready to go on my phone. Once I arrived, the app would not work as the GPS technology on Uhaul's system located me 10 miles away from the truck I was sitting next to. After 45 minutes with your help desk, the issue could not be resolved and I was forced to go to a manned station some 25 miles away. I arrived at the manned station and was again told the truck I reserved was not available, and the truck size to which I was "upgraded" was not available (I saw no less that 6 of both sizes sitting on the lot). I was once again "upgraded" to a 26 ft. truck. I was renting a one-way engagement from Evansville, IN to Cleveland, OH. I did not need a truck this size, but had no choice in the matter as the confirmed reservation I had was apparently a complete lie. The truck was a terrible ride as it was designed to be loaded, and I did not have a load to consume 1/2 of the available storage area. I bounced from Evansville Indiana to Cleveland Ohio churning the trip at 7 miles per gallon of gasoline of which, in total, amounted to roughly 70 gallons. Your survey focuses around the facility where I was eventually sent and ignores all of the pre-pickup inconveniences encountered, the fabrication of a confirmed reservation, and a less than helpful staff in resolving any rental issue other than to say "this is what we have, take it or leave it". THe return side of teh equation was less inconvenient, but the receiving location was not pleased that I had returned the vehicle one day earlier than they were expecting and were none to thrilled to have teh beast I was driving returned any sooner than expected. I know it is likely a significant waste of my time to complete this survey in this manner, but in the odd hope that someone with a bit of influence reads this, perhaps you can address the meaning of a confirmed reservation with appropriate personnel, web designers, and helpdesk personnel This is not the first time this has happened to me, but it is the first time that I have wrtten to elaborate the experience. I was wholly disappointed with the uhaul experience and will seek alternative solutions if I need to rent a moving vehicle in the future. Indeeed I would not recommend the "location" to a friend, nor would I recommend, and will proactively rail against the use of Uhaul when anyone I speak to comments that they are considering its use.
