Van was clean, and drove well. However, it did not have a full tank of gas when dropped off by the previous renter. Everything else was great. Interaction with staff was great at pick-up and drop off.
SAMUEL UThe unit that I rented had its check engine light on and stabilitrac light. Stabilitrac relates to traction control meaning it is off. Would have been awful driving in winter with this issue or even heavy rain as it can be dangerous. The back of the uhaul wasn't clean - clean. inside the cabin smelled like cigarettes. Check in/out was painless. I will say that we had a reservation at the other location on bethel road and when we arrived for our scheduled pickup - the automated system told us that our equipment hadn't been delivered yet. We waited for about 15 minutes and then called the uhaul customer service line and were on hold for 20+ minutes before my wife got a hold of an actual person. This was the most frustrating thing considering we had a specific schedule/plan to get stuff done. This resulted in delays and frustration. I am sure that reservation can be pulled up in the system. It seems like every time I rent a U-haul - the truck has problems and is not maintained. From wandering steering, out of alignment, check engine lights. I don't know if I honestly would ever rent uhaul again because of the lack of care. I rate overall average because this is how every rental seems to go.
ANDREW MCould use self serve outside of the building. Checked in with app it then said to call customer service. Waited in hold for 10 minutes then was told to go inside the store to get the keys. We were given the keys and left. Got to our destination Andy started to load the truck and then realized there was no dolly that we had pre-ordered. Had to drive back to the store. I had my wife d drive her suv since we were being charged miles we put on the truck. My wife was then given a huge dolly she had to then wheel out of a store while trying to hold a door open and put it in her suv alone. No one helped. Then when we returned the truck I parked it and was told by the man inside I needed to go back to the truck and bring the dolly inside the store. This was supposed to be a convent pickup but it was far from that. I won't use this location again.
Melissa SCheck engine light was on, interior of truck was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. Did not sign up for mobile checkin but they made us do it that way anyway. Will not be returning here if we need another U-Haul in the future.

CHRISTOPHER LTruck was so loud I thought someone had cut out the catalytic converter. On no way should that truck have been put in service especially when there were others available.
SEAN MExhaust system needs a bit of work, driver side wiper needs replaced.
PAUL SPoor customer Service from start to finish. Called ahead of time to ensure that a 10ft Uhaul was available. The gentleman on the phone said that there was. Arrived to pick up rental only for him to inform me that I had to have it back by noon, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS A 24hr rental. He stated that it was reserved for noon the following day. Strike ONE. Because we felt confident that we could get it back by noon, we went forward with the reservation. We will given the keys and told it was around back. It was. Trapped behind a 16ft and other large truck. STRIKE TWO The gentleman came out and moved the 16th truck so that we could access the 10ft. Upon return, we were made aware that we went over the estimated mi and that the cost would be a little more. No problem. We expected that. Paid for a FULL 24HR rental even though we were not allowed to keep it the full 24hr. Fast forward to today where I noticed an additional charge on my card. I called them to ask why I was seeing it. He explained that it was the difference between the "estimated" cost and the "actual" cost. I tried to explain that the "actual" cost came off my card and that the "difference" amount was ALSO on my card. I was being charged the additional mi TWICE. When I tried to explain this, he kept yelling over me and would not let me talk. I then told him that I would be contacting someone over him and my financial institute who did remedy this for me. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. THEY ARE SNEAKY!!

PAUL SNot understanding why the original place that I wanted to rent the truck from wasn't available, it was very close to where I had to use it. A liquor store is just a weird place to pick up and return a truck to, imo.

RIDA BWe were charged 3 different rates.. when we went back and confronted her about it supposedly was "corrected" but it hasn't showed up on my bank account yet! Now my daughter and I have to go back! We never got a written receipt from beginning because it was to be sent to us… 3 different charges finally them combined to 1 charge way over our time and miles!

Marisa PWhen I first went into the place to set up the rental, their computer was down so they said I could set up on my own online. So I did and nothing was done correctly. As I was trying to move Uhaul had to call me several times to get information to check if I even picked up the truck because they did not complete the online procedure correctly. When I turned it in I had to go out and take pictures of the dashboard three times because they would tell me what exactly they needed. It was very frustrating. I picked up before they were open and I had to call the night before to confirm and make sure it was ready. all they did is give me a lock box code but didn't tell me which box there were 4, I had to try all four. Then once I had the keys I went to the truck I thought it was but the key did not fit so we had to go to all the other trucks in lot to see which key fit. It was a very frustrating experience.
Constance BThis is the first and the last time to go to this place ever, the van that I rented was dirty I had to clean it up before I start loading, the cashier that I found when I returned the van was impolite and rude, he was going to finish the return of the van a customer came in to the store and he left me waiting and go to serve the customer and rudely asked me to go and get him the mileage and the gas level picture without any respect. This is not a recommended place
LOUCIF TI was disappointed when I made the reservation and was then told I would have to go to a location out of my general area. Upon arrival at the new location I was suddenly told there would be no dolly, that was not communicated whatsoever before my arrival. When I commented on Uhauls lack of organization, he started to argue with me instead of just showing customer service. The lady that initially was helping me was professional, but her manager was not and he became rude at the end of it all. I was not looking forward to returning to his store. I saw other locations that were open and probably wouldve been more accomodating than that location.
PORTIA HThere was a questionable charge of 7 dollars labeled as (UD). Didn't notice until I saw the receipt. Also the advertised $0,4 per mile was raised to $0.60.
PATRICK TI was overcharged for mileage by 15 miles. I had proof of mileage and was told I wouldn't be charged. When I received the emailed receipt I was overcharged and 150 miles away.

Isabella VThe staff when I picked up were friendly & polite & explained things well. The truck was very beat up & the cab smelled strongly of vomit. There was tape stuck to the walls in trailer. Some of the app photos were inaccurate & it wouldn't let me adjust them. I took my own photos and videos of the shape of the truck. Found a bottle of water in the passenger door. The vehicle had not been well checked at all. The young man there when I returned was nice enough but had his girlfriend hanging out with him. At no point was I told to bring the dolly in to the counter or take a picture of the mileage until I was in the store returning. This meant 2 separate trips back out to the truck, parked behind the store. Parking back there was difficult & it was not a clean area. There was clothing/underwear dumped in thegrass near where I parked. Again, the staff were pretty good & it was very convenient for me but the explanations of what i'd need to do could be improved.

Michael WWell I showed up at the designated time and my truck wasn't there. Come to find out that the clerk knew it was going to be late and couldn't even give me a call to let me know before I drove all the way there. Then he said he'd call me when the truck arrived. That didn't happen either. After over an hour I called and found that the truck had been returned. Overall this was the worst uhaul experience I've ever had and I feel like I should receive $50 off because the the truck wasn't there at the designated time.
John HThe tires were low on air and I had to drive all over looking for somewhere to put air in them. It ran terribly and was just really dirty. The entire inside smelled horrible as if something had spoiled.

Daniel PThe ramp was broken and the place wouldn't help me. He was belligerent and mean to me on the phone. I called the 800 number. They sent a guy who didn't know how to fix it and left. My son managed to fix it. Then when he took the truck back, the guy claimed he had rented a Dolly and didn't bring it back. There was no Dolly or Dolly rental. They charged me for it anyway!! And the same guy forgot to write the original mileage and blamed it on my son saying HE was supposed to take a photo of it! Then, even though my son returned the truck full of gas, they charged my card $50 for 10 gallons of gas!! This place is a rip off. I've called the 800 number. They won't help. The Beer Zone where I rented it is criminal and incompetent. I will NEVER use uhaul again! I've used them many times in my 60 years, but this was absolutely HORRIBLE! Now I have my bank involved. It was supposed to be only $108. They charged me $260! Criminals.

Alexandra STruck was parked inches away from two trucks. If there wasn't three people directing the driver, the truck would have hit the two cars. Please make sure your trucks are not parked too close.

Craig WThe truck was absolutely filthy! It looked like it had not been cleaned inside EVER! It smelled like road-kill. The staff were very unprofessional. I rented a truck from here years ago and the trucks were clean, staff was very professional. I will never rent a truck from this location again!
Valerie NI opted for check-in via the app, but had some issues with it saying I was not at the location yet (I was 20 feet away); restarting the app helped but then it just had other issues checking the van out. Went inside and the gentleman working at the location was super helpful and friendly. I assume the issue with the app was a glitch, but the experience in the store was awesome! Checking the van back in via the app worked just fine. NOTE: The Check-in process requires photos of all sides of the vehicle, so don't park it in a spot with other vehicles/building within about 15-20 feet or taking the photos will be difficult!
