First time using Automated drop off location. People in the store just ssid to call uhaul. Once I followed instructions for automated drop off it went smoothly. But still felt unsure about just leaving the tow dolly
RUSLAN AFirst, the truck was filthy, the air was low in 2 of the 4 tires, they couldn't give me a contract or paper of any sort, and the trucks engine light was on. I spent a lot of time wondering if I was going to break down at any minute. Second, I called and called no one could help me, and then when I got ready to drop the truck off the app and website were down to turn my keys in. I shouldn't be charged for a 20 dollar key deposit or for this rental. It made my experience very bad especially during this time when I'm dealing with Mom having stage 4 Cancer. This shouldn't be with u haul. I usually have a great experience but not this time.
Zanene TTo whom may concern. Before arriving to this location I experienced some not satisfactory service. I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience using U-Haul's services. Unfortunately, I encountered significant issues that disrupted my plans and resulted in additional financial costs. I reserved [specific equipment, truc in advance, but when I arrived at the scheduled pick-up location, the equipment was unavailable. I was then directed to two additional locations, each of which also failed to have the reserved equipment. This process caused considerable delays, disrupted my schedule, and forced me to incur extra costs, including lost workdays and additional mileage expenses. I chose U-Haul based on its reputation for reliability, but this experience has not met that standard. I feel the lack of preparation and coordination among the locations reflects poorly on your company's commitment to customer satisfaction. I kindly request compensation for the additional costs I incurred and a review of your reservation processes to ensure this does not happen to future customers. Pablo TDid not pickup where I was told I would. I rented equipment that no one had nor was even available where I was texted to get the truck. I was told I could drop it off at a different location and then told I couldn't. I actually had a UHAUL person on the phone to tell me that there was a Lowe's in Statesboro so I could just go and buy a dolly. That is not how it works. Then nothing went right from that point on. I had to drive 76 miles out of the to pickup the truck both ways. 38 there and 38 back. I have always loved my experience with UHAUL. I was not happy at all with this one. I used this location one time before when someone else owed the store. That time was awful also. You all claimed I never returned a truck that had been sitting on the lot for weeks. I will wait for Statesboro GA to have a truck from now on before I ever rent one again. Statesboro dealers are wonderful.
Tammy WThe automation for the drop off has a flaw. I put the wrong amount of gas and was asked to pay. I tried to go back and change it to the correct amount and could not. Now I have to call them in the morning. Make a way to go back and verify your progress. Save me a call for tomorrow.

GELVIS MThe U Haul representative was not present when we picked up so the store clerk had to keep calling to ask questions and get us set up. We asked to add another driver as well when we first got there and they said we could, but then they guided us through the entire process and when we asked about it again she said it was too late to add anyone, because the deal was done.
Lindsay EI was supposed to recieve a refund for $50 and instead was given a bogus $50 credit for the next time I need a uhaul after having two different problematic rental experiences with Uhaul. I'll never rent with them again.

Donna POverall the staff at this location tried to be helpful with picking up a trailer. U-haul itself was absolutely terrible. My appointment was at 11. Uhauls website and app would not let me pick up the trailer. After being transfered to about 10 people all blaming something different I was able to take the trailer at about 1p.m. yet still couldn't upload any photos prior to taking the trailer. I was not the only person having this issue. Another gentleman had to same issue and straight up canceled. I absolutely would have canceled as well but had no other options. Terrible experience overall. Once again not the employees fault.
Scott SDuring the process of submitting my information for truck rental I requested moving pads/blankets and a furniture dolly. These were not available at this location but I was not informed until my pick up date and time. Had I known in advance I could have made alternate plans for equipment. My money was refunded but that is not my point.

Chester SI had several problems with this location.. My order included a dolly but I wasn't given one at the time of pickup so I had to drive back to the location to get one which I was given problems for because the contract wouldn't pull up on his end even after showing him my order on the U-Haul app. The truck wasn't clean. I also had to put more gas in it than when I picked it up. When I picked up it was right at 1/4 but at the drop off location I was told he put between 1/4 and 1/2 but it was most definitely not that full. I was also not shown a proper walk around with pictures. Definitely going to avoid this location.

Jimmie MWell, I did not personally have contact with this location. The driver of my truck did, and indicated that they were extremely helpful and professional. The only reason for lower than excellent. As far as the location rating is concerned, I feel that, to some degree, they should have been aware of the check in procedure well enough to realize it. Something was wrong when they spoke to Caleb D. I would give this experience with the omission of Caleb Day, and 98 out of 100
Rhonda CThe staff at Black Creek General Store were extremely friendly and helpful. There was a delay and the clerk offered my wife and I a free drink. I would highly recommend this location. The equipment is very easy to access with plenty of room to hook up trailers and move 26-foot trucks around. Thank you for the hospitality.

JAPERA MThe experience with uhaul is consistently bad. Nearly every time I rent from them, I am redirected at the last minute (text message stating the location for pick up has changed) - and it's changed to a location that does have any of the equipment I have reserved for the job. And the location is in a totally different town from where I need it. The statement that the central uhaul locations are closed on Sundays is absurd. People move on the weekends when they are off from work. Your service (or whatever you call it) is terrible. Your communication is no where. And I won't be doing business with you again if I can help it.
