Marlyn CMake sure vehicle is cleaned cup holders were disgusting something very sticky in them and I didn't see it at first but put my car keys in it and I had what ever it is all over my keys
Nicole PThe stereo kept resetting when we hit a bump in the road. And the front shocks were wore out. Bounces going down the road non stop.
Jerry MThe gentleman who took my reservation was very helpful and courteous. He made sure to get me the best rate possible and worked with my schedule. I've used UHaul several times over the past few years and not all of them are as friendly. The one on Michigan Ave. in Michigan City is downright rude. I'd definitely go back to the Cheryl Bonin Real Estate and Storage location when I need a UHaul.

Jennifer VSafety chain safety latches were damaged and when I inquired about getting them fixed, the young girl replied what do you want me to do? I explained they are required by DOT and requested she obtain a mechanic to fix them or provide another trailer. She replied she did not have one and she would have to send me to another location. I ended up fixing them myself by taking the rubber pieces off another trailer. Very disappointing

Debra CI needed this trailer to move a garden tractor and the trailer with ramp is a godsend. I also was very impressed with this rental location. They have a nice array of equipment available and the young lady who worked with me was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Greg BShould have been a modest cost use, tipped off the tank and turned it back in. The old guy running it was definitely not customer friendly and didn't seem to know that he was doing, describing a gas gauge he didn't even understand, that I had never heard if. They charged me for extra gas that wasn't required, probably because of his inept interpretation of gas gauge. EVERY rental does the same simple top off EXCEPT HERE. Ended up way more expensive than it should have been. So much for using local Chesterton businesses...

Rachel CThe back of the van was dirty when I received it. The driver area was clean and everything worked as it should. My only major complaint was the wind sound when going above 50 mph. There is something wrong with the weather stripping on the driver door that allowed the wind to penetrate.

Joseph ZI was given the wrong key by the location and when I went in to have it exchange for the correct key, I was treated rudely. I was asked multiple times why I was there and when I explained they put the wrong vehicle key in their lockbox, I received no apology for the delay or inconvenience.

I called back and he was super rude and told me to contact a lawyer what a dick! I only drove 70 miles and got charged for 114 miles they obviously must need some more money to steal $7

Richard KWe didn't look at the text messages about how to go through phone returns until we had already returned the van. We went back up in the evening when we saw the text. It was already locked up so we couldn't provide all pictures required. We now know the procedure but for other people maybe tell them in advance to watch for that text and follow the procedure when dropping off.
Peggy MRich (at the facility) was a great help whereas the check-in process through the app was the most horrific experience I have had. My son and I spent 30 minutes trying to pick up the truck and received only more roadblocks from all the customer "help" when we called. Don't waste your time with the on-line check in, always go through the facility
