The issues I have are with the reservation and the truck itself. The pickup location I reserved was near the house and two days before I was scheduled to pick up the truck I was notified that I had to pick up the truck at a different location that was 50 miles away, making me drive 100 miles before I could even begin loading the truck. Additionally, there were multiple issues with the truck itself. The front passenger tire PSI was at 60 PSI and the windshield wipers were completely worn out. During out drive we had to drive through multiple storms resulting in me having to pull over and stop because I couldn't see because they were working so poorly.
andrew pUsed this location to get a 4 way furniture dolly dolly to have been initially picked up. I deserve a credit for mileage from east Dublin to Dublin to get by my personal car

Branshonda MI rented. U-Haul on December 23 2024 when I returned it took picture of the mileage. I've been over charge . I went to the location showed my prove of mileage the guy said they made a mistake call u haul. I called U-Haul the representative told me to send a picture of the mileage to her Email which I did which was a week now and I haven't heard anything from them as of today.
Debra KThe trailer I rented had animal feces and ropes tied to the inside supports appearing as if someone had live stock inside. It was filthy and smelled too bad to be used. I had to call U-Haul to arrange a replacement to get my new furniture home with just 10 minutes to spare before the store closed. This was the worst experience I've ever had with U-Haul as it was extremely stressful and upsetting to my wife.

Randy JOnly because they are the only ones open on a Sunday. I feel the person in charge should walk out with you and go over everything, like when you get a rental car. They inspect it with you.

Teressa MJust like checking out, checking in could not be done due to a quirk in the system. With correct phone settings, I was not able to check in over the phone due to a location services issue. The local owner was able to get us checked in with minimal time.
George CThe car hauler trailer that was scheduled to be picked up was not ready to be picked up, since it was hooked up to another U-Haul van. The attendant didn't seem to be aware of this when he informed me the trailer was ready to be hooked up so I hooked up to the only available trailer on the lot which was in the weeds. The attendant did not offer any assistance in this process and I had to go back in the office to get the contract/invoice altered to reflect the change. Also when I scheduled the U-haul van and trailer I was under the impression that both units were to be picked up in Dexter GA, but this was not the case, since the van was in Rentz GA and the trailer was in Dublin GA. This caused an additional > 40 miles of travel and about 4 hours of time to pick up both units and travel back to Dexter GA to load.

Kelland WI failed to get the gentleman's name that helped me with my rental. He was very helpful and quite pleasant. He was busy, but he came out and helped me move the truck because it was a tight squeeze. I will rent from them again.

Marshall MDid not have room for the trailer return and directed me to another site . That site appeared to document the return but didn't forward that to corporate. Corporate contacted me to find out where the trailer was.

anthony hThe winches for the straps on this auto transport trailer were worn out. It was very difficult to tighten the straps and even more difficult to loosen them to remove the car from the trailer. I called this to the dealer's attention when I turned the trailer in and he immediately made a note to have the winches repaired or replaced! Other than that, this auto transport was the best one I have ever used. It pulled straight and true and quietly and did not veer left and right like some trailers are prone to do! Overall it was excellent except for the winches. I will definitely use U-Haul auto transporters again and I will use this dealer to rent them.
Kenneth AI tried several times to call this location with no contact. All I got was a message that the number did not have voice mail. I went to the location on June 21st approximately 3:00 pm and the office was closed. There was a drop box that you could leave keys but nothing else. I left the car hauler trailer there and tried again to contact the number listed with no results. I then went to another U-Haul dealer in Dublin, GA., and he gave me phone number to the regional U-Haul office, and I called them. The lady took my information and said she would contact the U-Haul dealer in Dublin, GA., to check-in the trailer on June 22. She stated that she would e-mail me confirmation of the transaction. This the only communication that we have received, since June 22nd.
