The tire pressure was low, check engine light on, and they charged me after I dropped off truck. I should've gotten a refund if anything, I didn't use the miles I said and I refilled it with gas

The only reason I'd recommend that location is mere convenience. Be upfront with charges. I was given a quote 50 and ended up paying 160 for a these extra charges. Ended up getting 58 bucks back..

The passenger side mirror would not stay in place it kept turning every time there was a vibration to the truck, the radio was hard to turn off nor could you turn the volume down, the mileage meter is off by at least 200 miles, the back door to the storage area was hard to open, it takes a long time to warm up,. Every time the steering wheel turns it makes a clicking noise so if you're turning like sharp turns… all you hear is a click sound every time you pull the steering wheel to turn. The check engine light was on the entire time, the check light was also blinking periodically every 5 to 10 minutes, the speedometer is off by at least 2 MPH. It's hard to make sharp turns due to the steering wheel being hard to turn, as if it's stiff or has been basically glued into one spot. You have to pay like $100 just to get at least 3/4 of a tank of gas. And I was overcharged by at least $100 due to the mileage being off

I called in to customer they said they took down my complaint the vehicle wasn’t driving properly it was shaking and bouncing to much cause sickness to my pregnant wife and my self cause use to have to stop driving to see if the vibration would stop and clear up but it never did , this in turned made us late to get to and from the destination, I did call the U-Haul 800 and told them the situation and asked not to be billed a second day due to the problems with the vehicle, also the charging port was also broken and I told the U-Haul representative that as well it cause me to not know where I was driving I could plug my phone or gap in to charge I had to stop to charge my phone because the vehicle had no outlet !! I feel it wrong to charge me more money so kindly reduce ur fees because this was very bad drive and and I felt unsafe in that vehicle it needs maintenance immediately

Truck felt like it was going to fall apart the entire time. Check engine light was on and the rear axle was clearly bent. Not an experience I'd like to repeat.

Asked for but was not offered a receipt when I turned the truck in. Then I received text messages almost three hours after the truck had been returned, asking when I would be returning it. The drop off location is completely lacking !!

First it was supposed to be lake ave they rented it out they sent us to this gas station. The guy had us waiting while he talked to his saying to wait a minute, we said we had to pick up my daughter he said not his problem,, once done he did not give a receipt,,,or check the truck over,,it was muddy inside the cab, I cleaned it and there was garbage in it..had absolutely no gas in it at all but said I had to have at least a quarter tank to return it,,,I got my time extended 2x it was supposed to be returned the 15th 6pm they picked it up abt 5 using towbuster towing,,,it wasn't even uhaul it was the guy from the gas station,,I will never get a uhaul from any where but UHaul itself...they should cancel the gas station on S Plymouth Ave Rochester I believe it was Sunoco,,,this email says drop off on Long Pond but I was told it had to go back to Plymouth..I'm not sure what the heck going on but,,,then on top of it all there was even a miles check,,,no never ever again

Truck was dirty in the inside couch cushions were left in the back also store didn’t check in my return till 2/3 days later and charge me more then what the price actually was very disappointing

Overcharging us, truck is not even clean, gas wasn’t filled so we had to fill it up, and when we dropped off the keys on time, the person we gave to was very rude to us.

The check engine light was on when we picked up the truck and the person helping me knew about it. It was clean and the people renting the trucks out were really nice but the truck I used for my move could've been maintained better.

One of the wipers didn't work, ask to get another truck rather then wait for it to get fix ,was told the other trucks were already Reserved?

My truck was not staged at the Gibbs location even though I had booked it days before. The next location they sent me to was in a terrible part of the city and some dude just sitting on a freezer was the "uhaul guy". Put me behind schedule, massively inconvenient, literally terrified being a single woman in that gas station. Awful experience.

This location was over full with u-haul trucks and was hard to find a place to park. The ez market was busy with gas station customers making it more frustrating.

I do feel the rental cost was a lot more than it should have been. We got it at 9:30am and retuned it by 3:30pm and it was over $100. That's a ridiculous price, I will be looking at other options for the return. Which sucks because the uhaul employees were great.

Using the app to submit information after returning the truck was difficult, it was slow and mentioned returning the car and then after indicated that there were questions to answer and pictures to take, although the keys had been returned by then. I think it would be helpful to indicate there are questions to submit before returning the keys.
