Friendly and helpfull staff
JOYCE GThe customer service with the gentleman at the counter was rude and it was a constant back and forth as if we were inconveniencing him with our questions. I would never use U-Haul again since they now contract with outside gas station locations. I prefer actual U-Haul companies.
DUPE BI was told to bring the gas back at full b/c it was given to me at full. when I got in to the truck, it wasn't full. I returned it full and the person checking me in said that it wasn't full. I looked and showed him it was and he said "no, you are one gallon short." Really?? Will not rent from this location again.
Patricia GMy reservation was originally for a different location closer to my move. I arrived on time and had to wait over an hour for the mart to open. I left after waiting an hour and received a call about an hour after I left to inform me that my reservation was moved to a different location. Overall, terrible service for the first location and added mileage to pivot to a different location.

EDGARDO AMy first time renting a u haul in over 30 years. It was really easy and quick. Will definitely keep in mind if I need a truck or a van in the future.
Roseanne MFriendly and easy to deal with
EDGARDO AFriendly, fast and mostly helpful employee. He tried to claim there was new damage ( there wasn't and the truck had almost 100 000 miles). When I told him there was no damage and paid for insurance, he dropped the issue quickly. Hate to think what he would have tried had I not gotten the insurance. Felt like a scam was coming. Otherwise things went fine

LINDA HThe driver door of the truck I rented had difficulty closing. The roll up door lock needs to be lubricated. It was difficult to close. The personnel were efficient, and pleasant.
ROBERT CTrailer had a completely broken/detached rear gate spring anchor on the right side which would get jammed in the roll-top gate and make it impossible to move until one fished around and got the dangling component unstuck. Staff in San Leandro were entirely uninterested in this defect. I had to document it so they wouldn't blame me for breaking it and charge me for the repair. Also, please start loading empty trailers onto semis in OR and other destination locations and truck them back to CA - there are almost no one way trailers available in CA.

ALI EActually reserved 20 ft truck for one way, received call saying no 20 ft truck available for one way but could get same truck for $49,95 plus $1:45 each mile and must return truck to original location so paid more than one way and inconvenient since was around 45 miles each way.

Manuel JNot charge deposit for in town rentals. Website does not say you have to pay a deposit. But when you go into the location your told a $200 deposit is required even though it's a local rental not more than 8 miles. I will not use your services anymore.

Jorge CI like this store. The people here are so friendly, accommodating & kind. THE BEST PART? They're the only U-Haul dealer that has the gas stations w/ them. We don't have to research for any nearby gas station before returning.

EVETTE CThe appointment was at nine and I finally was able to get into a truck about 945 because how busy the counter was. But overall, the experience of renting the truck Was great.
THERESA WWe reserved for pick up in Concord, our reservation was changed a day prior with no way to change it back. In the middle of a stressful move we no we're forced to drive 40 minutes each way to an inconvenient location that also made us wait bs the location we reserved which was 5 minutes away. This was done twice to us. Really makes me question renting from usual. Moving is hard enough without the stress of going to pick up a larger trailer in a city you're not familiar with in a sketchy city.

MIRACLE ATruck was dirty and had alignment problems. Personnel asked for $200 for their assistance's with the car carrier - that I didn't ask for -and insisted he wasn't joking.
