CLARISSA MThe service was fine, the truck was clean and performed well but the vehicle trailer tie down ratchets had not been oiled in a very long time which caused some concern when used. I had to douse them with WD40 to make them work well. This is easy maintenance that should be routine. Otherwise, the move went well with no movility problems during the 18 hour drive.

william wLocal service was great! Mary who checked me out for the rental was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My only feedback to uhaul would be that your mobile app is seriously flawed. Despite scheduling my rental for 10AM, I must have gotten close to a dozen reminders that my rental was coming up at 3AM that day instead of 10. Very annoying and I wondered if my rental time would start and end at 3am so I might get over charged, But the local provider knew it was for 10am and charged accordingly. FIX YOUR APP!.
DONALD Lthe person responsible for the return should at least look up from her phone when a customer comes in. my intent was to self check out the truck because of the phone call I had with her the day prior just to make sure where i should leave the 26 foot rental instead of the regular parking. but the office was open so i went inside to report i was leaving the truck. she isn't friendly at all and honestly in hindsight i'll just use the remote return feature of the app. All in all, the experience with uHaul, except for the dropoff has been pretty good and I would recommend it to others but just tell them to use the app if they are dropping it off at this catalina location.
Barbara DMore clarity on the fuel situation during rental process. I picked the truck up with 3/4 tank and after use the gage showed slightly over 1/2 tank. I added 10 gallons which brought the tank to full and at $3,09 per gallon cost me $10 to $15 more than it should have been. Additionally, I do not understand the logic for mileage cost going to $1,29 per mile on weekends versus $0,99 midweek.
ROBERT WI was informed that my drop off location in Thatcher would not accept my rental. Instead, I had to drive 45 minutes to Wilcox, Az. I had to find someone to go and pick me up, and had to pay their fuel and time. This was a real inconvenience for two of us!!!

Eddie FI have used this place several times and I've been happy with them. I made this reservation online paid for everything that I wanted used my credit card. Had to send somebody else to go down to pick the trailer up as I was not home on time to pick it up. The person that picked it up was asked if he wanted insurance and he said no because his boss never uses it but I'm the one that made the reservation and I'm the one that paid for it in advance so of course something happened and now I get to pay for the damages because the person they're at the U-Haul in Catalina decided to listen to the person that picked the trailer up instead of what I had already paid for, so I'm not happy with them at all.

JOHN PMake sure you check the whole tire. While I missed seeing the inside of the tire being bald the facility should do better. Had a blow-out on one tire. Roadside Assistance promptly changed that tire and looked at the other tire and found it to be unsafe and changed it too.

LOUIS RThis is a mixed review. The U- Haul location in my small town was one of those unpeopled ones. The owner met me for payment and paperwork but then when I tried to start the truck it had a dead battery and I had to go 20 miles to pick up a different truck, But the original location operator transferred to the new truck location all the paperwork and my payment. The delay cost me at least an hour and a half which threw off timing with workers lined up to help load and unload. But it all came right in the end.
Frances MThe inside of the cab clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time, judging by the thickness of the dirt on the dash and windows. And the truck doors won't stay closed unless you slam them hard, and that even took 2 to 3 slams to get them to shut.
