The ramp for the height of this 26' truck was WAY to short, causing a very steep incline to walk up and load this truck . This truck only had 10 000 miles on it but this thing was to short for alot of loading .

There was a leak in the 5x8 trailer we hauled. It was a very rainy trip and one of our suitcases that was in the front corner of the trailer was very wet inside & out. Very disappointing.

When I arrived (early because I was going to pick up the equipment earlier than anticipated) the sign said open but the door was locked. I looked at the equipment for about 10 minutes thinking that it was a one-person shop and a representative was perhaps in the restroom. I was wrong, I called and left a message but no one returned any of my phone calls. I returned several hours later and sent an email stating that I was running a but late because I needed gas and still no response. When I got there the representative was nice enough, but moreso curt when I explained what had transpired. He said had I waited 2 more minutes I would have caught him. I asked why the sign said open if he wasn'tphysically here, or why he didn't put a note on the door stating he'd return momentarily. I don't recall his answer. Not my worst experience but when you're in a time crunch it would be nice not to waste any additional time.

Fantastic experience picking up the car dolly. They were so patient because I was having problems with my credit card going through , but we finally managed. The manager, Mr. Davis is a real gentleman. I didn't catch the other guys name, But he hooked me up perfectly, and I was on my way. Thank you U-Haul team Santee.

Was told I had to return vehicle at 3/4 full of gas. Once in truck, saw needle at 3/4. Refilled truck to 3/4 at drop off where was told, rightfully so, it was supposed to be 7/8. Was shown where 7/8 was circled on paperwork. Issue is that at origination what was told was not what was marked. True, I did not review the paper, but still should have been told the truth.
