1. Make ramps standard equipment on all trucks. 2. Transmission problem shifting in truck. Reported to operator. 3. Otherwise excellent service!!!!!

Excellent facility but challenging to locate as address not on Google maps or Garmin GPS

Curt PI had several issues and hiccups with my order and pickup experience. The ladies that work at this location are amazing women. They are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They went above and beyond to help make my experience a positive one. I cannot say anything but nice things about this team. There were issues with the reservation and the payment system and they did several things to fix it. They are patient and persistent to help me out. This is by far the most issues I have ever had with renting a uhaul over the years but it was by far the best experience. :) This team needs to be recognized for their superior customer service.

David WThis Kenora sight does not have much to offer. I asked about a closed trailer and they didn't have any and could not tell me when they would. I asked about an open trailer and was told one size only and the attendant was unsure how to hook up. I asked about a small box truck and nothing was available. I ordered a 20 foot box truck and was emailed two days later that I would be renting a 26 foot truck and would have to pick it up in Ear Falls. I cancelled the truck and asked to keep the open trailer for a one way trip. The cost tripled and it was not an easy change for them.

Roger HIt was an interesting experience. I ordered a 12 foot box truck but was told they don't carry that size at that location so they recommended a 15 foot. After a couple days I got an email saying that truck would no longer be available and I was getting a 26 foot. Cost was a little more and a furniture mover was not available and pads were not offered. I understand this location was just relocated from another location in town but in comparison to other centres we have rented from this one will need more time to get set up properly.

David NGoogle map of address incorrect and calls for directions went unanswered (was over lunch hr). New facility location - suggest access directions are included on contract, as address link to Google/maps indicates a location far end of town. In end, ironclad webpage was only reliable source of info.
Stephen DAlmost impossible to get one of the wheel lockdown straps off. Luckily girl at the uhaul depot called a friend who brought a bar to get ratchet to release. Also brought a wrench to get safety chains off girl at uhaul was extremely helpful and went out of her way to help me out. Many thanks to her
BILL BLocation does not match what the U-Haul app or website shows. The worker was giving very poor instructions to find their location. The information I entered on the app had to be repeated over and over. The application asks for an optional emergency contact. She could not complete the process because there was no contact information. Please change the application to make the emergency contact mandatory if the staff cannot get past it to give me the trailer which I ordered through the app.

Greg DOwner initially refused to take uhaul vehicle, eventually took it but then decided to charge me multiple penalties without my knowledge or permission days after. I had rented the uhaul in thunder bay with the assurance that I could drop it off in Kenora, not Dryden or Thunder Bay. Every uhaul rental vendor pointed me to Ironclad Storage for dropping off the vehicle here in Kenora. Owner initially said he wasn't ready to begin operation, but eventually took vehicle. I will be disputing this charge as I should not have to pay for system errors or this man's inability to show up to work and do his job.
