I did not get the U-Haul I had originally booked but she did give me a free day. This happened to me last year when I moved and I never got what I booked . It's not the Timmins store fault she was wonderful this is a business problem . What kind of fly by the seat pants operation are you Running just rolling the dice if the requested size U-Haul will be by chance there is beyond me. You guys then called me yesterday pressuring me to bring the U-Haul back in Thunder Bay and screwed me royally with a 26 foot U-Haul more in gas and horribly hard to drive and back up and unload . This was brutal and I can't believe a year later after this happening to me it happened ago. I can't be the only one

The store had said open but upon arrival, owner or employee was no where to be found took them over 15mins to show up after numerous calls were made to them. Keep in mind was standing in the cold that whole time.

The trailer I needed was stuck behind a bunch of non running vans and other trailers that I personally had to move to get to the one I wanted. The snow was not cleared on the lot so it was hard to manoeuvre and the tongue of the trailer was bent about a foot out.

Original drop off spot had impossible le/unsecured hours for working people, so we dropped here. They couldn't/wouldnt accept trailer until we called customer service to change drop off location. **Still waiting for $60 deposit to be refunded.

The box of the truck was filthy we had to wait for it to be swept out It was used for old hot water tanks with brown stains on the floor of the vehicle and old copper and brass fittings with half empty pop container on the floor. Had to take to car wash to clean floor. Location did pay for wash after not wanting to. Truck left yard and was pulling to left after arrival at residence noticed tire was becoming flat called and manager said to take it to Canadian Tire ( on a flat). Called again and he said he was to busy to help. Called 1-800 number and they were excellent in helping with the tire repaired in less than an hour. When loading we had to put tarps down as floor of truck ..was so stained we could not walk on floor to enter house.

Staff was outside talking to friends when we pulled up, you could not tell they were staff. They saw us walk into the building and nobody came to assist us. The building was messy and nobody came to help even after shouting out "hello." The staff then saw us outside looking for anyone who worked there. It wasn't until we walked up asking if any of them worked there that we got assistance and their friends ran off. They then asked if we would do the drop off online so they didn't have to do it and treated us like an inconvenience the entire time. Would not recommend this location at all.

They are living at this location there was a bed on the floor... Suitcase with clothes all over the place.. propane stove and god know what else ...

Inside was clean outside not so clean mechanically fine

Be ready for the pick up. The person who can dispense vehicles should be there when the location opens and they should have all the required equipment

A bit disorganized as they gave me the wrong vehicle as the original equipment booked was not available so they provided a larger truck. Not a big issue but it used more fuel.

We dropped off our rental 1day early. U-Haul charged us for 3extra days. I have submitted a grievance.

Worst customer service by call centre staff, I was at the location 5 minutes before designated time 12:30pm and even though the place says open it doors were locked. Called the call centre for assistance it took 20 minutes to connect and then two times they hung up. At 1:00pm when I got connected with an agent she aggressively told me that you have to do everything yourself we wont be able to help and transferred my call which was hung up without anyone answering. I WAITED FOR 1 and Half HOURS TO GET AN ANSWER. Finally at 2:00pm I decided to call and cancel this service as I was unable to open the locks and website was crashing non stop. I don't remember the call centre lady's exact name but she assured me she will help and told me not to cancel, her name was something like savana. She guided me through everything and got me the truck. But after almost two hours. All the call centre people before her were useless and didnt wanted to do their job. Never wish to book Uhaul again.

Our U haul truck was great and we had a marvelous moving experience

Snow not plowed, no clear driveway entrance or exit, operators not present, had to wait for them to show up, had to hookup trailer myself
