Key lock box is designed poorly. Our key got stuck and was difficult to retrieve

MONTOYA MPick up location hours are dependent upon someone actually being there. I needed to change pick-up time but was unable to due to hours.
CHRISTIAN BI reserved during office hours and no one was at location when I arrived. Then had to unhitch a trailer on my own, proceeded do the mobile pickup, The lock to box was jammed and the owner had to send someone to assist me. Lost over an hour that I needed for my services. U-Haul should give me a discount, will never use this location again
NARCISO IUHauls push for me to download their app on to my cellphone is annoying and made the process of renting the vehicle very frustrating. Why would I want to allow UHaul access to my phone for a one time rental. Also, the online booking process was very confusing and frustrating. I was fortunate that the contact at the rental location was well versed in being able to work around all the issues with the process. My experience was such that I will not rent with UHaul if I ever need a moving vehicle in the future.

CHARLES LWhen I called to make reservations, I asked for a 10am pickup. The contract was written for a 12 noon pickup. Joe's towing is only a pick-up and drop off area. No assistance was offered to hook up. The U-Haul rep had to be called out on a tow and if there had not been a secretary available, I would have had to wait till the rep returned ( 45+ minutes.
CHARLES LAfter being confused about how to pick up, I got checked in. No one was available to drop of well before my scheduled time of 1pm. Some one that works for Joe's tow took the keys and said no one was in the office anyway. Later I get an email that my drop off was after 2 incurring charges on my card.
Kim CIt was great experience! The truck was perfect and the person at the office was very nice. The only thing I can think of is, maybe the contact person could be more familiar with the trucks so they can answer any questions the customer may have.
Ann LMy move went especially well. I reserved the truck online. When i picked it up, the truck was clean, filled with gas and ready. Process only took a few minutes. Joe commented that having most of the info already completed made his job easier...kudos to your online reservations!
Barbara DThe pickup location I request was changed by uhaul. The reason given was that my location of choice did not have the equipment requested on site. I had already confirmed the equipment was indeed available. This seemed to be nothing more than uhaul trying to divert business to a preferred dealer. This resulted in a delay when I arrived to pick up my equipment. Don't try to manipulate your customers.

PAM CJoes tow was great but uhaul set me up to pick up a truck there that had to be returned there told me if I returned it there I would be charged 117 but now is charging me for mileage even though I was supposed to have 198 miles free and only used 162 of my free miles

Renee LA trailer reserved for us was reportedly taken by a different UH store for their own customer unbeknownst to Jane @ Joe's UH store. We're glad she called early before we left to p/it/up. Jane made sure we were able to get it done the following day. Thank you so much ! Everything worked out in the end.

FRANK MThe has station that was closer to my drop off was out of gas so had to go more miles to another gas station to fill up. Put more then what I was suppose to and not happy that I'm being charged more money. I think things like this is uncalled for. Thank you Cassandra Douglas!!!

GLORIA CJoe's was a good place and the people were very nice and very helpful. The problem was the location was 20 miles from where I asked. Uhaul does not keep or redistribute inventory evenly across the area. The only other locations with 20 foot trucks were even further away, and I was located in the largest city in the area by far and had reservations a week ahead of time. It was too far to go, but the people were understanding and very helpful.

JEFF HOnly complaint is that I changed my reservation to pick up and drop off at same place due to my friend having no way back home except in the truck. I got a call from a very rude man at Cornelius location on 11/7 telling me I was supposed to have the truck there at 9am. I told him I changed the reservation at pick up and he said I was going to be charged an extra day. The truck was turned in on time.
