We rented a car trailer the morning of needing it. (Last minute) Arrived at the location and no one was in the office. Called and spoke to a lady who asked us to check in online (drivers license etc. She was at another location up the road) If anyone knows Maine, the signal is spotty everywhere.. it took about five minutes to load on my phone, and she said we could head to her location about 8 mins up the road. As headed that way, I was able to load the page and send it in. We finished the paper work on the phone at a gas station up the road then, turned around and she said she would have to be out there shortly anyways to take a picture of the hook up. She arrived , everything was fine. We go to load the vehicle onto the trailer one ratchet to cranck the strap was very rusted and corroded. Luckily there were chains or we would not have been able to use the trailer.

The lot was not plowed and there was no attendant on site. I had to call for a tow out of the U-Haul parking lot. I also had to shovel the entrance to the lot. I expect compensation for this inconvenience.

Owners are off site & you must call & wait for them to arrive. However-upon arrival, they are courteous.

In process of setting up pick up office so assume process will improve as staff moves to pick up location. Very helpful staff dealing with present situation.

Location wasn't open but the outside was very organized and no one was there, so dropped off keys. It was promptly processed the next morning

I would recommend this location because of its convenience, but there were a few issues. First, the registration on the trailer had expired last month (06/24). Second, the young woman who helped me at pickup had trouble getting the hitch onto the ball on our car. We managed to figure it out together, but we didn't tighten it enough, apparently. As I was driving the trailer back at a fairly slow speed, the hitch came loose and the trailer started swinging around. Thankfully, the chains held and I was able to pull over and there was no damage. When I was dropping off the trailer, the UHaul app didn't recognize my location correctly. I called customer service, and the woman said the GPS picked up my location as being 12,3 miles away from where I was supposed to be. If this company has a second location, maybe the locations aren't set up correctly. Regardless, it took me about 15 minutes of speaking to two different departments at UHaul to get it straightened out. There was another person trying to pick up a trailer when I dropped mine off. She was having trouble with the location on the UHaul app also.
