Shaine HI booked this reservation a week in advanced. It was supposed to be 24 hour pick up and when I showed up there was no information or guidance on how to check out the car. The one person who knew how to process the reservation was off that day. Fortunately I got a hold of her and then experienced problems checking out the car due to U-Haul not entering the original reservation correctly. Long story short checking out the car took 1,5 hours. I'd give 1 but the store manager who helped me was tremendously helpful. Avoid renting from here and go to an actual U-Haul office.
Erik AReserved truck for 5pm on a Sunday. My luck is usually bad, so I was expecting the worst at every turn. There was only one person working that day, I saw one truck available in the lot, and I was already getting nervous. Took a bit of sorcery to open the lockbox, where there was one key. But until it started the engine, I wouldn't be comfortable. Thankfully, everything worked out and from there check-out was easy online. Submitted pictures of gas gauge and odometer, spoke to owner on phone, drove away at 510pm. The hardest part was opening the stubborn lockbox! Check-in was just as easy, but in reverse. Submitted keys, pictures of gas & mileage, got receipt by email. Very smooth transaction.
