I was charged me an extra 26 hours, even though I returned the trailer on time, because the business closed early and there was no one to confirm my drop-off.

GORDON MJay and Patsy are wonderful. I always try to use this location. The Mendenhalls treat everyone with respect. The lot layout has plenty of space to operate my 4 door dually with the largest uhaul trailer. I recommend anyone in my area to use Mendenhalls. Great people to work with. 5 stars is not enough!

JOHN GI had ordered a truck for 1pm pickup and arrived early for the check in process. No one was at the location and a sign indicated they closed daily from noon to 1pm. This was not indicated anywhere in the reservation process and delayed my pickup.

ROBERT MJay and Patsy have been doing this for years and are competent and reliable! We live in PA but will drive the extra distance to rent from the. In Elkton, MD! When I think of resenting any U-Haul truck or trailer I always go to them first and will adjust my moving dates to match their availability! Would HIGHLY recommend them and their partner John Grey who recently performed my trailer hook-up and safety check! Thanks to them we have such great people and service! Sharon

I was in a bad circumstance and Mr. Mendenhall kindly loaned me a wiring adapter and even took the hitch pin out of his own truck so I could get on the road to retrieve my son's car. He certainly did not have to do this but it was so very much appreciated. His kindness during a stressful situation will not soon be forgotten. I will always recommend them.

Austin BI needed to rent a car transport trailer on relatively short notice. The Mendenhalls were very helpful on the phone when I called to find out about the process, and make sure they had one onsite. They answered all my questions. The first location I called, the website showed they had 2 but the person said they hadn't had any for quite some time. They recommended the Mendenhalls. When I called the Mendenhalls back to make the reservation, it went very smoothly, didn't take long at all. It was much easier to call the rental location directly as opposed to doing it online on the U haul site. Have heard stories of people having trouble online and about making a reservation online and the chosen pickup location not having the equipment onsite. Pickup was quick and easy as was the return. The trailer was the perfect size for our vehicle and everything worked fine. Next time we need a trailer I will definitely call the Mendenhalls.

William LA cleaning fee of $15 was added to an open 5X9 trailer at the time of return without notice. This seems like just an extra money grab especially since all the trailers are stored outside. I did not have time to dispute at return because the location was closed and I was quickly approaching the arbitrary return time and didn't want to incur another $20 charge for late return.
