GRAHAM JThe check engine light was on when i picked it up and i made the gentleman aware. He told me not to worry about it. I'm sure it cost me alot more in fuel because of that. The vehicle sputtered and revved up and down when at stop position at lights or stop signs. I was concerned it would cut out if i pulled out. The drivers side window would not go up most of the trip, it would stop about an inch from the top. I would have to keep winding it down and up to get it up all the way.Thw truck it sells with the fuel I was not happy with. The woman in the office was very nice she picked me up when I needed a ride to the location as well which was a great help. Very much appreciated.

dave bWe booked/ requested a 15 ft truck, was informed that it would be there. Reserved. There was not one there and had to settle for a 26 ft truck. We had some tight spaces to access and a 26 footer was too big, hence the reason we reserved a 15 ft truck. If u haul says there's a reserved size there , it should be there.

Sherwin HTraining of employees. I was contacted by worker looking for the keys wondering if I still had them before they thought of checking the drop box, also this employee had to get support to do the computer work In order for me to get the vehicle witch wasted a lot of my time.

Patsy BThere was no person available when I selected that option as opposed to mobile pick up. Couldn't help me over the phone, so Miles Holding passed me off to someone not even in the general area. They were not helpful and negligent in the entire experience. Would never recommend. I waited an extra hour just trying to get ahold of someone to pick up my truck. Horrible and awful experience.

Gayle FBooked rental from Gander Newfoundland, had to drive 40 minutes away to pick it up. Should have been Uhaul's responsibility to have vehicle at location of booking. Truck box was not cleaned out, had broken glass, nails and wood in it. There were all season tires on this vehicle that had no tread left to them which made the 3,5 hr drive to drop off location very dangerous. Truck was all over the road, steering it was very hard. I could not go anymore than 50kms per hour on the TransCanada Highway, which was impeding the flow of the traffic behind me. Headlights on highbeam had the same power as daytime running lights. Had to get my partner to go ahead of me and use the lights from my personal vehicle as a guide to see on the highway. This vehicle was definitely not maintained to meet road standards for Newfoundland in the winter. This experience was horrible, felt like I was driving a death trap.

Edward EThere was a mix up with the pick up time. One of the employees was a bit unprofessional when they called. Said she had things todo and sounded annoyed that we made a mix up with the time.

Darren NA warning to potential customers: Make sure the truck is clean. Make sure tires aren't leaking air before you take the truck. The low air warning was present on the display inside the vehicle, how could that be missed? Answer: it was never checked. I had to take the truck to a local garage and have the valve stem replaced. I was at the mercy of a mechanic who thankfully agreed to work past 5pm on a Friday. If I didn't get the tire fixed I wouldn't have been able to do my move. Uhaul manager did not help at all or process my refund to this day. Be careful, it's your life at risk, not theirs.

CHRIS CVehicle was in poor condition. Bald tire , leaking exhaust. Drivers door seal falling off. If I didn't need it and was stuck I would have refused it. However made it from Lewisporte to Halifax NS.

Gregory CThe rate i was given when i booked on line and when we arrived at the please was different he charged $80,38 when I was quoted $24,95 plus $10 for insurance plus tax! WHATS HIS PROBLEM He wouldn't give us the trailer if we didn't pay the $80,38 and I had arrangements made to pick up stuff we dropped off the next day. I AM OWED MY MONEY BACK
MICHAEL JA pick-up time was scheduled for my convenience. The U-Haul representative assisted in hooking up the tow dolly and assuring everything was road ready.
