Scheduled truck rental for Saturday 12 noon, with confirmation email, text message 2 business days before Scheduled date. Hired 2 movers, arrived at 11:45 am only to be told that the truck was unavailable, and rescheduled for 4:30 pm . I was never notified, and would never Schedule, or hire movers at 4pm on a Saturday. The managers response was "I can't give you what I don't have ". Never a consideration for customer service. I now had to locate another truck rental, while I'm paying people to stand around. This terrible negligence costs me a couple hundred dollars, and much frustration. Customer service should be priority one. Customer reviews on Uhaul will not be favorable.

RICHARD SThis location is fine for someone who can pick up or drop off an item on their own. Even though I was there to drop off late morning on a Monday there appeared to be no one at the business.

Charles BEmployees at Miller's Brake and Oil in Northfield Ohio were great. They took care of me promptly and politely including dealing with a mechanical issue. The corporate Uhaul office (phone#) also was helpful with a change to pick-up time.

They paid attention, cared and were respectful…and most importantly honest. In light of the fact that my move is temporary, I expect I'll be calling on them again in the next year-ish.

larry gFirst, the truck was buried in snow. I had to dig it out of a frozen snow bank to be able to back it out. The heater did not work. The seals on both the driver and passenger side windows were broken. It sounded like a train trying to drive, as air was rushing in.

Dave MEverything was great !! Upon entry, I was immediately greeted and the technical stopped what he was doing to take care of me. The van rental was done in minutes and the van was clean and ran perfectly.
Joseph SThis was quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had with Uhaul. After confirming that we would be able to pick up the truck after hours without issue via the app, we scheduled for a 4PM pickup, with blankets and securement straps added. When we arrived, the app functioned poorly, and it took 15 minutes to get it to verify our location. We put in the permanent address associated with our drivers license, and thought everything was okay. We made it through all the steps in the app to find that the lockbox was broken and therefore perpetually unlocked (seems irresponsible for the business, seeing as to how easy it would be to steal the keys), and when we got into the Uhaul, there was almost no gas in the truck. The app claimed we should've had 1/4 tank left, but there was barely 1/16. This delayed us further, so we arrived at our location late. When we opened the Uhaul, we found that it was completely empty, with no blankets or straps that we had reserved and paid for inside. We had to frantically run to the only other Uhaul that was open (30 min drive one way) to get the materials. We finally loaded the truck, drove it down, and unloaded it. We then opened the app to begin the after hours return process. We noticed that the app stated our return location was a 50 mile drive away. We were stunned, as the Uhaul representstive we spoke with said there were plenty of locations in the city, and we could pick the most convenient one. I had to call the 24 hr help line, and they informed me that the drop off address is dependent on the address you list for your driver's license information, which we certainly would've changed if we had known (there was NO mention of that in the app). So we found ourselves needing to drop the truck the next day, and had to call the regional distribution center to change the address. Overall, this was a horrendous experience, and not at all what I expected based on the price I paid!
MATTHEW CYou let me book a reservation starting at 8:30 AM on Saturday 4/13 but this location does not open its doors until 9:00 AM. Understandably, both the mechanics in charge of the U-Haul location and myself were confused about the situation, and it caused me to be late by 30 minutes on a very tight moving schedule we had. No shade to the mechanics at all since they have no control over the booking software, but your online scheduling software must be changed to reflect the actual store hours of the pick up and drop-off locations.

Melinda WThere was dirt in the back of the van when we picked it up. Everyone who helped on the phone and in person was very nice and helpful. I thought the price was high for a one day rental, but it seems like the going rate now.
