I had the worst rental experience ever in Baton Rouge at the U-Haul location on Airline Hwy. The female attendant was unprofessional and making side deals for lunch. I saw her give my 15in reservation away to the people in front of me who wanted a pick up truck to rent but they didn't have any pick up trucks available at that location so she place them in a 15in truck. And when I got to the counter she said my reservation had cancelled but I showed her in my U-Haul app that my reservation for my 15in truck had not been cancelled…then she said well a reservation doesn't mean or ensure your rental equipment. Long story short I had to drive 10 minutes to another location to pick up my reserved truck…worst experience ever!!!!

There were NO uhaul signs. There weee no trucks or trailers. It was a very tight driveway/parking area? At first we thought it must have gone out of business. We drove around the block and tried to call. We got an out of service on the phone line. We called the pickup location and asked where we were supposed to go. They called corporate and tried four different times before they got an answer. They confirmed it was a barber shop in front of the apartment and we were supposed to drop off there. We went back around the block and pulled in, praying they were there because there was no way we could get turned around or back out of the lot without disconnecting. My wife went into the barber shop and a guy took our rental agreement, told us to drop it next to the two wheel dolly and we'd get an email receipt when he marked it returned in the computer and went back in to finish cutting hair. I dropped the trailer and completed the online return to protect myself. I still haven't gotten a receipt, nor a refund for the extra day ($20).

To be honest, We came after hours. The location was in a area that wouldn't make one feel safe.

I did a self drop off the area felt a little u safe the area where you have to drop truck off and take photos had large mud puddles. Otherwise self drop off process was seamless

I got charged for two days when I rented for a day never meet a associate to release or return rental had to text take pictures of leaving and returning and good thing I did because I was over charged very poor service in my opinion

Customer service rep was very nice and helpful, but furniture dolly, utility dolly and furniture pads that were ordered were not available. The truck was also dirty in the back with dirt and some debris. Customer service and courtesy--excellent (he apologized for equipment issue and said they don't have those items so this is a UHaul scheduling issue Truck and equipment--Below Average Overall Average
