Mark BOwner threatened to lock us in as we were going to move out. He was hostile and unprofessional and uncooperative. Had a mice issue the entire time I rented a unit. He also went ahead without my permission and siliconed my storage unit shut over winter thinking that would keep mice out. In order to open it I had to use a pry bar.
Carol-ann P | Expérience généraleI reserved a trailer on March 29th to pick up on April 2nd. I wanted to pick up at 9am but was told he was not opening until 10am so I went with that. I arrived at 9:55am to find a note stuck to the door that they weren't open until 11am and a phone number. I called the number to be told he was in Calgary and wouldn't be back for a bit, I informed him I just drove almost 2 hours to get there for my reservation. If you can't open when yours hours and reservations are made why couldn't I receive a phone call the day before to let me know this. I told him to call me once he was open. I got a call at 11:40am so by the time I had my trailer I had been sitting around waiting for 2 hours, had to last minute reschedule apt time where I was taking stuff to. I will never try to get another uhaul from this location.

James AWhen you book a truck weeks prior to moving, you should not have to travel 2 hours driving (both ways combined) and spend extra money on fuel. In the end UHaul ended up with a 1/2 tank of gas extra and we wasted 2hours of our valuable time. Not happy at all with the way the whole experience went

Lorelea GElise was there extra early to give me the keys and the truck ran good and was clean. Just make sure the actual company, ie. UHAUL doesn't bump your truck...I was confirmed for a 26 footer and they sent a 20 footer which frustrated the hell out of me!!!!
Camilla JI had one truck to choose from !!!!! I wanted a 1/2 ton. I got a 2 ton. Don't tell me to go to another location because I have no "FREE" method of getting there. The check in was overlong, tedious and pointless. You need to learn from car rental firms. 10 minutes tops. You do not need photos of my drivers license or my next of kin. Refer to car rental agencies. I am now inundated with your emails that I do not want.
Alan T1.) Don't put your "Speed Kills" sticker OVER TOP of the speedometer. I think this requires no further explanation 2.) How does one figure out what "7/8" of a gas tank is when filling it? I would appreciate someone reaching out to reimburse me for the extra 1/8 gasoline I provided to your company… 3.) Cruise control. Couldn't find it. Manual was for a different model, apparently?
Chris LWe don't know how to recommend this location as we were there after hours and use the drop off box for the key. There was no staff there after hours. It was very convenient for us after driving such a long distance.

Greg BThe person at the desk when I went to pick up the trailer just had no clue how to do the booking and paperwork, had to call her husband which did the booking over the phone, then when I went to hook up the trailer, the tongue of the trailer was on the ground and I had to lift it by hand to hook it to my truck. The other problem with the trailer are the brakes, with a load on the trailer the brakes are not even noticeable when needed to slow down, the weight of the trailer on snowy road wanted to push my truck when I needed to brake going down hills which is not easy on the truck brakes. Need to get these trailers inspected and checked, noticed the trailer inspection (CVIP) was expired.

James COverall good experience. The rental truck was clean in the cab and appeared clean in the rear but once inside the smell was awful. The previous renter had used it to move chickens as there was a very specific smell and some left over feathers. It worked for my purposes to haul a couch to the dump but would not have been acceptable for any other purpose.
Kelso MThis was an ideal rental experience. I needed a medium sized trailer, towed by my Ford Expedition to haul some large items to the landfill site. The Uhaul staff, Francis, was extremely helpful. I arrived at 9:30am and filled out all the rental paperwork and had my rental trailer securely attached to my truck by 10:00am. I only had one group of stuff to load onto the trailer, transport to the landfill and offload and everything went smoothly. I had the Uhaul trailer loaded up by 10:45am, and completely unloaded at the waste transfer facility by 11:20 am. I returned the trailer to the Uhaul store, Osemota Storage, in Innisfail at 11:30 am. Great service, very nice clean trailer, fair pricing, and excellent treatment by staff. I will be using this location again. I also strongly recommend this Uhaul lacayion to anyone needing a Uhaul rental or to rent storage for some of your vehicles or property. Thanks Francis. Bruce o | Expérience généraleThe agent at the Innisfail office was very friendly and helpful. I had trouble trying to rent the truck online and had to go the the office to get it rented. The agent told me the best way to rent the truck. He also helped me when the Calgary office for U-Haul called and gave me hassles. I will not do the online renting anymore but will go directly to the Innisfail office to get what I need. The Calgary office needs to get a better method of keeping in touch with their outpost offices.
Jamie HUpon pick up we had to get to a gas station quickly as truck was empty. The vibrations in the front end were painful to experience. Spilled coffee syrup was under arm rest and into middle storage compartment

Meranda RThe unit rented was clean and ran well, however in the roof of the cargo area there had been two areas that the roof had been previously damaged. attempts to repair were made but the area above the 'Grandma's Attic' did not work and rain water entered the unit. Due to the leakage there was water damage to some of our packaging. This area of the unit roof should be repaired before anyone else rents the unit.

Terry Cwell I notice when I checked out I got charged 3 days rental instead of your app realizing I only rented it for two days . also you charged a 15 dollar cleaning fee even though I returned it clean and selected yes to it being clean . also unit was dirty when I picked up a little pissed off at all the extra I'm paying for definately worth letting people know your going to be charged extra even if your done and washed and returned early .

That being said the owner was extremely pleasant and went out of his way to ensure we had the equipment we needed, help with it and was accommodating to physically helping load the trailer on the hitch. I would highly recommend this location and the owner. Overall. Good expérience!!
