BRENDA AThe people were great. The u haul was old not clean and seemed very rickety. Which seems unsafe. The floor of unit was very unstable. The people who work there were very helpful and kind. I just think new trailer could be needed for safety and cleaning them before rental would be good. I believe that trailer should be retired.

jim pI was unable to replace the fuel as the fuel cap would not come off. Three different people tried to get it off and that is why I did not replace the fuel used.

Brian BIt took me nearly an hour to find the right truck. One was parked out front, but it was not the one on my reservation or the one that went with the key. I had to walk around in high heat to find the right truck in a parking lot behind another business. Then there was no appliance dolly in the truck like I had reserved!

Joanna RMake sure the windshield is clean and that the wipers are good. I had to scrub the bugs and crud off the windshield. When I needed the wipers in South Dakota both of them were broken and coming apart. I limped my way through a blizzard to a truck stop and was able to replace them. As for the place I picked the equipment up in. They were super nice and helpful. I would definitely use them again if I was in the area.

RAYMOND RI was frustrated with the registration/ computerized system. Despite having been granted a confirmation number when I showed up to pick up the truck there was no truck. Thankfully, the manager of the location got us a truck and we were able to get our move completed.

terri GI made a one way reservation with a specific drop off. For some reason the day before my drop off, without talking to me a scheduling manager changed my drop off to a location 30 minutes away. It took a chat and three 30+ minute phone calls to get it changed back. There should be a question in this review regarding custom service or my overall experience. My response would be very unsatisfactory.

GAROLD JNeed to clearly inform customer that the U-Haul box trucks are commercially rated vehicles and therefore the customer's personal vehicle insurance does NOT apply to these rental trucks. You are exposing the customer to TREMENDOUS LIABILITY if he CAUSES damage or personal injury. That fact was not known to me until after I rented and drove vehicle away and subsequently talk to my insurance agent who adamantly clarified to me that my ordinary car liability insurance would NOT cover me if I CAUSED vehicle damage or personal liability injury.. Your dealerships should go to extremes to clarify this lack of coverage before the customer drives away with the vehicle. Once I realized this fact, I called the U-Haul dealer where I rented the truck to add additional liability but he said U-Haul policy allows only 30 minutes after I rent the truck to add additional insurance. He told I needed to drive truck back to his rental location to add insurance! That would be added inconvenience and liability exposure as well as cut back on the time I had to use the truck. Please review your policies to clarify exactly what is covered and not covered when customer picks up truck. I would have paid a larger insurance premium to add personal liability.
jerry vThis location and this owner is horrible!!! What happened to me was done intentional… And I was not able to get the truck I reserved!!! Thank God that a agent helped me find another truck to use!! The whole thing was so messed up since this location and owner did what they did…. Horrible experience!!!!!!

Doug MThe owner met us and handled our rental. He's very personable, knowledgeable, and handled the transaction flawlessly. Next time I need a U-Haul, I'll go here, even though other dealers are much closer. Might tidy up the location some.
