I was assigned a newer truck and he gave it to somebody else. The staff was unknowable and it took almost 1hour to get the rental. And no paperwork was provided.

RAYMOND CWhen I arrived to pick up my rental it was not ready. The trailer was not attached to the truck. The representative was not very knowledgeable on how to hook up the trailer and had no clue how to tie down my vehicle. His first language wasn't English and it was extremely difficult to try to discuss my rental with him. He also hooked up the brake and signal lights so poorly that the wires corroded off and I took the whole trip without this important safety feature. I had to ask a stranger walking down the road if he could help… also there was only the truck I ordered and would have loved to receive a larger truck…. ( I realize this is an me issue but when I saw the truck I could tell it wouldn't be big enough for my move. I enquired about a larger truck but the wife said they rented it out the day before :(. Unfortunately I was unable to take all my items in one move. And had to make other arrangements for the remaining items I had left behind I had also asked for a fillet for my move and mentioned it but was never supplied. That being said. When dropping off the rental the boys in the Calgary yard where exceptional.

JAMES SWhen you accept a reservation don't change the equipment and location the day of pickup. I drove 12hrs to receive the absolute wrong trailer at a location an hr out of my way. With absolutely no help from customer service. U haul is off my list of options for good and i hope word of mouth travels.
