This is turned into a very small piece of ground behind a building that doesn't look like it's manned at all. I was quite concerned dropping my trailer off there. Luckily I printed a copy of my contract and follow the directions that were left online for an unmanned station.

Realizing that this hasn't been a location in Ottawa, KS for a long time. Still needs to be cleaned up, quite a bit.

Location was muddy. Office was disarrayed.

Back of truck needed cleaned out. Food particles were on the floor. I could tell this truck had not been cleaned. Interior cab smells like cigarette smoke. I received good customer service when I checked in. The truck was ready when I arrived.

Had reservation for 3pm pick up to fit my work schedule. Got text at 1245 pm if i can pick up sooner. Which i did with changing work schedule. Then when i returned trailer, i found location locked and no one around at time drop off 1130 am. I took pictures of trailer to confirmed i returned trailer to location with location in background and left if. Next time i look for another option.

Brought trailer back, no one around. Could not speak to anyone as no one would answer the phone and vm was full. Not pleased with people taking pics of tag and drivers license. Will not use this business again!

The individual who checked me in could have been more helpful in finding the destination zip code, instead she had me look it up. Minor point, but if I were her boss I would mentor her in that area.

The rental truck had some issues with cruise control that made it difficult for the driver. This was definitely NOT the fault of the local rental facility but more an issue with previous customers not reporting it OR the uhaul mechanics not getting it fixed properly. Other than that, I HIGHLY recommend using uhaul. The uhaul attendant who set this up was excellent. Thank you for making check-in an easy thing.

No place to park

There was nobody there. There was trash piled up by the door . It was a dirty area . The parking was limited .There was a note on the door saying to call or text a phone number. We did that and she said she would not be back till tomorrow. We ended up returning the truck on the app.

The drop off was small and unkept. The people were hard to get a hold of. Just not real inviting.

Don't use U-Haul. Save yourself the stress, time, and energy of an employee not telling you all the information you need, neglecting to inform you of all of your options and that you may need to travel over an hour for your rental despite making a reservation weeks in advance. Don't let them try to take advantage of you through their poor training and customer service. Until I requested a manager or supervisor the customer service team was going to hang up on me for trying to understand what their authorized dealer did not inform me of. It was only after speaking to this supervisor I was able to have the miles necessary to make my move in the first place. On top of all of the above, U-Haul attempted to charge me nearly $50 extra for an undisclosed reason after returning their truck early and with more gas than necessary. Hire friends, rent a truck from another company, do anything else. I'll rent a U-Haul truck again over my dead body.

Not the easiest to maneuver around due to small property. But workers were very friendly, social and helped attached the trailer. Very good staff.

I think they did great. It's a very small space but upon arrival we waited just behind another couple but we were early. They were friendly and courteous. Anyway, maybe 15 minutes later, we had a 10 ft truck rented. It worked out perfectly. The only thing I would say is that if they could have had someone come shovel all the snow in the parking lot, it would have been much safer. Due to the very cold temperatures, the snow packed parking lot had turned to ice and there were ruts within in it making it hard to drive over and so slippery, I thought I might fall. So next time, shoveling would be a great idea. But over-all, I'd rent from them again.

The truck door was frozen shut so we couldn't check it at the location (not their fault). There was broken glass, urine, bolts, waterbottles, and other trash in the back of the truck.

The pickup was problematic, first the app wouldnt let my location find the place (they moved) so it wouldnt work. and when I finally was able to get the code for the key the CODE was already in the lock so anyone could have gotten the key. the truck it self was dirty and not cleaned out and less than a half tank of gas.

The only problem we had was the uhaul ended up with a flat tire that my husband fixed but it made it where we had the uhaul longer then was planned.

The lady running this location was outstanding. She was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We would definitely use her again.

Nobody was at this location either. Again, If I hadn't had my own jack, I would not have been able to unhook the trailer.

A lot! The whole process was horrible it took an hour and half to get the truck after arriving, called the 24/7 helpline and after over an hour and talking to 3 representatives I was about to cancel the whole reservation until I commented "I can't believe there is nothing you can do to get me into the lock box because it doesn't recognize my location this is 24/7 helpline and he told me he could send me to another location, I told him I've already wasted an hour and a half so he asked his manager and that process took awhile longer before he came back and said his manager said we could do it manually. Wow!! Really!! Not a single rep out of the 3 new you could get into the lockbox manually and check me in not one! It's supposed yo be a 24 hour helpline but no one knows how to help you. I wasting half my morning before getting a truck and getting started on my move.

The check engine light came on and the motor didn't seem to downshift from trailer mode. I was glad that I only had a short trip. I don't know that it was R&H's fault in any way. I suspect that it was the fault of uHaul itself.

Where we went to the one in Ottawa Ks. From our old house to the new house is 70 miles and and they wrote down 65 miles. So we had to pay extra..

The location was in a small town, and was an old location. However, the friendly people there made ALL the difference! They went out of their way to accommodate my change in truck size on short notice, and were so helpful and cheerful on a very hot summer day.

Received probably the oldest, dirtiest trailer at any u-haul location anywhere! The person who hooked up the trailer didn't know what he was doing. He did not secure the tongue to our hitch properly. We hit a bump & it bounced off our hitch in the middle of the road. Thankfully we were moving at a slow speed. Totally unacceptable!

Nothing to change the guy we worked with was new to the process so it took a little longer as expected. Otherwise they were very friendly and helpful.
