Way to mic trouble for a simple for a simple trailer rental. Had to drive all the way to Eganville to pick it up and pay for two days instead of one Meanwhile there was a 4 x 8 trailer sitting in Pembroke at 640 Pembroke St.W. the whole time I needed the trailer. Why could your system not find that one. The gentleman in Eganville was super helpful and the trailer was spotlessly clean

JACOB LVal was excellent to deal with and she was very helpful through the whole process and I am very glad she told me to take pictures of the dashboard on pickup and also on drop off. It saved me a fuel surcharge after the drop off, thank you very much Val, you were very pleasant to deal with and so very helpful.

DENNIS HI had a major problem picking up the truck (missing truck key, non-knowledgeable employee, customer service only helpful after lengthy conversation). it caused a mor costly and significant delay, more stress with moving. To add to the injury, at the drop off place next evening, i was charged a cleaning fee for a "terrible mess' and very dirty cargo with bags of garbage" claimed by the rather condescending person at Riga Motors. I asked for the photos and it turned out that in cargo area there was only a piece of strap there, otherwise clean. In the cabin, there was 1 pop can, 1 bottle of water, 1 chip and 1 small empty paper bag. It would take about 1 minute to remove those. The company seems to expect high standards from the customers, but not from themselves. It is appropriate to remove the cleaning charge. Tho photos were submitted.

ANE ROn the website it said it was closed on the Weekend. Our pick up time was at 10 am but the Representatives were late getting there, which caused some anxiety in the booking. But once they arrived everything went smnoothly
IAN CPlace was closed and locked up when I was supposed to return the trailer and I had to phone to get an extension for THREE DAYS and then I had to find someplace to put the trailer so I could take it back three days later. Inside the padlocked gate is a box for a 24 hour return but you can't get through from the highway because the gate is locked with a massive padlock so that location is pure bullshit and I would NEVER use that place. Guy there can't barely speak English so I didn't even know what the hell he was saying because it was just gibberish.

MRK PService at this location was speedy and efficient. They were helpful when we called to verify availability. Two thumbs up for Riga Motors! Equipment was clean and in great condition. U-Haul reservation system is TERRIBLE. We woke up to an email saying that our reservation was cancelled. We had already traveled 700 miles toward our destination! In a panic, we called to reserve again. Ran into 2 other customers that day with the same problem. Will not rent through U-Haul again if at all possible.

DNIEL BThis location is completely out of the way when I requested multiple times to drop it off at the one in pembroke ontario but for some reason this is the only location maybe u-haul should make better location to rent from

Angela NNotice on vehicle states if vehicle and equipment is returned clean and folded, then the $25 cleaning fee would be waved. We returned the vehicle clean and swept with all furniture blankets folded and we were still charged $25 for cleaning

PATRICK MEverytime I rent a trailer or truck I have to clean it first before use and again when returning with no compensation but there’s a charge to me if I don’t clean it And last trucks should be full of gas as when I got my truck in eganville was at a 1/4 tank so I had to drive way out of my way just to fill up That’s it

CHARLES DNice location and gentleman was eager to help get the trailer hooked up. Liked the ramp feature rather than roll up door ant it fit 4x8 plywood with ease.

Sherry FSigned up for mobile pickup, but when I arrived and signed in, it said we had to wait for the site to open. Why offer mobile pickup by phone when it is not available?

Roman cThe open hours at Riga where restrictive. They close at 3:00 pm, and we arrived 15 mins late, however the person there showed us where to park. He was somewhat frustrated because he had more than his share of trailers on site, obviously not something he could control.
JOHN HMy second time renting from this location and i couldn't be any happier. I was late for my pick up ( past their operating hrs ) and they accommodated me and came back just for me . The attendant is very nice and courteous and knows the equipment well. She recommended me a slightly different trailer that would work better for my move and she was absolutely right. The trailer was clean and in great condition. Love the location, love the service, I recommend anyone in the area to come see them for your moving needs . They also have a auto shop on site . Thanks again guys , I will be back .

Sherri CComing from Petawawa, this location wasn't exactly close, but they had the right equipment I needed. Overall I'm very pleased with this U haul dealer !!! They have done a great job with the signage , it's hard to pass by and not notice them. The staff/ owners are very friendly and were able to get me going in no time with exceptional customer service. The trailers were well maintained, everything clean and working. Good job to the Dealer and to the Area Field manager for finding these guys , now get some prospects in for Petawawa, untill then I will return to this wonderful location.

SANEL GGreat drop off outdoor location. Business was not open, so unhitched it between other trailers in the yard and called business to inform it had been delivered and businesa sent me a final invoice via email. No issues with the drop off.
Charlene SRigi Motors in Eganville has limited parking space. So it was hard to drop off the trailer in the only parking spot open. The owners were helpful. However, more parking space is needed for movement of Uhaul vehicle traffic.
Mr GUpon picking up the vehicle trailer, it was buried under excessive amount of snow, I was not offered assistance to remove the snow.i was assured that the trailer had been recently inspected and was in working order and safe. Upon arriving home,I had to chip ice off deck of the trailer, the ratchets for the straps were rusted and worn, right side turn signal and brake light did not function and the trailer were also non functioning. I drive a 2023 chevy 3500 truck with a complete tow package and I tow a camping trailer often so my vehi le wasn't the issue for the broken signals and brakes. This experience was beyond unacceptable and a huge safety risk. I look forward to someone contacting me to rectify this.
