I got the run around at the Saginaw Bay Road location. They would not let me rent the exact same trailer which they had in stock because I was going to drop it off out of town. The other location would. I wasted an hour at the Bay road location. I will NEVER attempt to rent a trailer from them again!

The inside of the truck was filthy. Something was spilled all over the wall and rubbed off onto some of the items we moved. I requested a 15' truck, somebody called me to see if a 20' would be okay. I agreed since that's "all they had". We arrive to pick up the truck and it is a 26' truck! This was never communicated to me and was a huge inconvenience. We did not have a choice but to take it as we had to be out that night. We had a tight area to pull into at the apartment complex to get our items and this truck didn't even fit! We had to carry all of our stuff much farther than we should have. The truck was a terrible ride, it felt like it was going to fall apart at any second. The gas was basically empty, we drove about 15 miles and had to get gas. This is unacceptable, I should go to pick up a uhaul truck and then worry about where I can get gas so I can make it to my destination. This was the worst experience we have ever had with renting a truck to move some items.

No improvements needed based on my rental. The check-in was quick and efficient. The staff followed me out to the trailer and short of backing up my car, they handled all the hookup and electrical lighting testing. The return process was identical

The truck was filthy. I didn't want to touch anything in the cab. It was disgusting. I'm honestly upset that I paid for it.

Have the truck brought up by the office so you don't have to walk through snow to get to the truck in the back lot. Le personnel était amical et serviable.

We were given a truck with no air conditioning driving to Florida. Also no trolley cart with wheels for loading and unloading. Caused WAY more work and stress with the move.

This was a great place to pick up a one-way rental, the people working the desk were friendly and knowledgeable. I rented a truck and a car trailer, and I was surprised how easy it was to load my car on the trailer and tow it. Renting one was was significantly less expensive in my particular situation, and we didn't want to drive two vehicles back. If this applies to you, it was definitely worth the rental cost for a trailer that you drive your car on, a perfect solution if you are driving alone or with someone who doesn't like to drive long distances. Only one minor issue, the gas tank was marked at full on the paperwork, but when checking the truck, it actually had 1/4 of a tank. But they corrected that and I returned it with 1/4 tank. There was no hassle or problem with this, I just didn't want to pay for a full tank when it was almost empty to start. I just got my receipt today from the past weekend rental and there were no surprises, my balance was $0 as expected, and I had a really great experience with the people and the equipment.

Very entitled and snotty...the young lady had zero people skills. Worst part was, when I called about a few questions, she was SUPER unhelpful and even hung up the phone. Would not recommend EVER associating with this young lady...and I use the term "young lady" lightly. Young she was but, she sure as Hell wasn't a lady!

I ordered a van and on arrival was given a truck (without prior notice); I didn't mind the switch but prior notice would've been helpful in that I packed for a van, not a truck. The price was the same which was also fine BUT, the truck was filthy both inside and out. Reeked of cigarette smoke and there were cigarette ashes in the drivers' side window well. It was evident that the inside of the cab hadn't been cleaned in MONTHS as there were crumbs and ashes in the floor and on the seats, dust/dirt on the top of the steering wheel area. Further, the driver side visor was completely missing. I've rented from U-Haul for years usually 2-3 times per year and this vehicle was in the worst pick-up shape I've ever experienced. It was so bad that before we left on our trip, I drove back to the office where I'd picked it up to personally report the condition and to tell them that I would NOT be charged for cleaning NOR would I clean the vehicle before returning; I had no intention of cleaning up someone else's messes (I also knew we would not be leaving a mess of any kind as we would be in the vehicle for a total of 1 hour (loading and uloading plastic tubs at an antique show in sunny weather so no rain or mud). The response from Max was that this truck "stays here" and that we wouldn't be charged as they were aware of the exterior damage; he did not address the cleanliness issue at all; rather, all he said was, "You're good". I'm renting again today presumably the same vehicle, and will post an update on condition AND checking the receipts to assure I haven't been charged inappropriately. I will update this feedback and online review depending on the outcome. BTW, I rated the experience as "Average" because Max's customer service on pickup and my return visit to discuss condition were acceptable.

There were no instructions regarding after hours drop off. Very frustrating to try and turn in early only to have no way to get into the location or instructions on after hours return. Even called the location. Instructions on voicemail message would have been helpful

Tired of renting trucks at one location only to be moved to another, then told they don't have the blankets or dolly I rented and I have to go chase it down.... or the fact I told them I was towing a vehicle told them all the info and then the tow dolly didn't work for the car.
