While Ryan was very friendly, the whole experience was not great.. there was nobody there when we arrived to pick up the truck, so we had to wait for him to get the keys.. Then he was not there when we dropped off the truck, causing us to be charged an extra $42 for gas.. As expected, we were told to return it with as much gas as we left with. The issue is, we only moved across town, using it for a total of 9 miles. The gas gauge didn't move. Yet I got notice that they had to add 3 gallons, charging us $12 for gas and $30 fueling fee.. we are honest people.. had the gauge moved.. we would have replaced the gas..
Michael MThe furniture pads were dirty. Ryan was great. We had reserved a truck from the Monticello U-Haul. When we arrived, the only two guys with access to the truck keys were on vacation. Yes, you read that correctly. So despite a reservation, we were completely out of luck. What a shit show in Monticello. Fortunately we were able to get a truck in Anamosa.
