The young man working the counter lied and told me I could get a refund for unused days which was a complete lie. Before this I was sent to 3 locations until I finally recieved the right truck. Why would I rent a truck until the 24 when my movers were scheduled on the 22 for 3 hours. You guys are a complete scam. I will never use you guys again. Shame on you THEIFS.
JERROLD LThe location I pick to get the moving truck was not available, so I was sent someplace else. If a customer picks a location from the website that moving truck should be available at that location. I also had a full-size car hauler and was sent some place different. Because of these issues I was given a couple of extra days. But as I was traveling, I received a call and was asked when I was going to return the truck that day. I had to explain to the gentleman that I was given those extra day, But he said it wasn't showing up on the order. He said he would show the truck being returned on Sunday, which it was.

Peter RDirt lot with a partnership business as the drop off box. It's not ideal but uhaul did work with me on the location. It's most likely overflow from the uhaul facility just south of it but it's honestly not ideal. Doesn't affect me know as it is what it is.

JOLYNN Wi need help i had s few questions and the customer service were rude didnt want to help. they also didnt give me a dolly i paid for the dolly never got a refund.
Himan MRented trailer, after loading had to take it back because it was slamming into trailer hitch. Brake master cylinder needed to be replaced, no brakes and very dangerous. One of the tires was going flat, needed replacement. I don't understand why you would rent such a dangerous piece of equipment. I find no fault with the you men at the sight, they were courteous and helpful. They were not allowed by U-Haul to really check to see if the equipment was safe. Technician was sent to fix the trailer. It was deemed to need new master cylinder, he did replace the tire. We contacted roadside assistance, (Nisha), and she was very diligent in getting us help. I commend her. We chose to have movers come transfer the load. With my back I am unable to lift much weight. A trailer was delivered, the movers arrived and transferred the goods. Instead of taking stuff out and putting it back in the way it was loaded, 60 % of the weight between the wheels and the truck, they just stuffed it in the way they took it out. Light was in the front and heavy in the back. I guided them the best I could but the priority seemed to speed. We did have some minor damage, fabric softener was crushed and spilled out. Light shade crushed and walking stick broken. We felt lucky this was all that was damaged. At the end Leroy of roadrunner movers wanted me to pay. I had specifically asked Nisha who would pay and her response was U Haul. Leroy said he needed a voucher. I told him I was not paying as it was u hauls responsibility to do so. This devolved into Leroy getting angry and agitated. I called roadside assistance . We spoke to a number of your agents and they could not satisfy him. We ended up with a manager, Anthony, who spoke with him. By this point I was very uncomfortable about what was going on with Leroy getting very agitated. My gut instinct was he was trying bully us into paying, so he could get double payment. He claimed he was not paid for his last job and he knew U-Haul wasn't going to pay. Anthony was on the verge of calling police. I told Leroy he needed to deal u haul, and we left. I was disappointed that the movers who represented u haul were so un professional. Everyone else was on the spot. This was very unpleasant; none of our other experiences with u haul were un pleasant.
MARK RAttempt to refill fuel at end of rental period, fuel shutoff before I could refill to required level. Attempted 2 try's. Was forced to return not at previous level. Also windshield is cracked.
Patrick IGas was at 1/4 of a tank which was super inconvenient for us and our travels. We had to add time on to our travels to get it filled up.
MATTHEW EThe app wasn't working when initially picking up the car but the customer service was exceptional and walked me through it with no problems. Dropping the car off was a seamless process

BERYL LAfter my reservation was made, I got moved to a new location. Equipment was clean, but boy that truck can bounce. I don't know if there is a problem, or just a really rough rider. I got charged an extra 3 gallons of gas. I put fuel in before returning it. Not sure how they thought another 3 gallons was needed to get to where I was before the trip.

Stephen PWhen I went to pick up the truck, after hours, it was pinned in on the front and sides. I had to back it out and negotiate around a number of other trucks to get the truck out of the lot. The truck was old and clunky but it was a good value overall, I guess. It took me a while to figure out that I should take it off "tow/haul" mode, where it accelerated/shifted very slowly. It drove much better after that.
THEODORE B"Greeted" by a guy behind a one way mirror who just asked "are you here for SSC or U-Haul. When I said U-Haul, the man I never saw said "Oh, I'll call the guy." I waited quite awhile as I needed help as the app seemed to be frozen. After about 10 minutes the guy showed up, but wasn't all that friendly. Then, when he said I was good to go, I asked if the dolly was in the truck. "Oh, you had a dolly?" so he gave me a dirty and broken one.
JEFFREY CTruck was not at my pickup location. Had to drive 20+ mile to get one. Truck was not ready. Back right tire flat and rim damaged. Have pics. Then had to go back 20+ miles to get a different truck. Did not start packing till 3 pm. The truck ran ruff, made rattling noises and for a 3 passenger truck it was uncomfortable and horrendous to sitting at middle seat for a ride from Chandler, Arizona to Waco, Texas. One of the worst truck rentals ever. As. A formal employee of Uhaul I would never treat my customers or send out trucks like this. It sure gives you Uhaul a black eye

FREDERICK MI have rented vans and trucks several times at this location. Everyone is helpful and friendly, and I'll continue to rent my vehicles from this location.
JARITA GI got overcharged for the gas even though I returned the truck with exactly where same fuel meter was when I receive the truck.
Kushal KBrad at the location was great, he spent as much time as I needed to go over everything, Brad even gave me some good pointers if something was to go wrong "Which it didn't". I have rented several U-Hauls and Ryder trucks over the years, and this was by far the best experience. Thanks Brad.

MICHAEL RVehicle was refueled prior to return but was charged for fuel. Location should ensure fuel gage is read accurately. I would hope that it is not the company strategy to defraud customers by charging for extra fuel. There should be an audit process to check for patterns in after returns fuel charges. Next time, I'll use an honest business.
BEN AThe truck was not very clean and I was given an older truck with no cruise control for a 1500 mile trip. The tow dolly had a defective taillight that stopped working before I left town.
STEPHEN H1st, it took almost 45 minutes to even get the truck when I showed up to pick it up. After finally getting the truck, I was then called by U-Haul customer service 45 minutes later asking why I hadn't picked up the truck yet (1st red flag). After dropping off the truck, I was told my total cost was $130 and I was then charged $195 TWICE :). On top of that U-Haul customer service is an absolute joke. Waiting 72 hours for a call back to get a refund is insane.

JASON CWe picked up a trailer at this location in September to tow my daughters car to California and the move went really well thanks in large part to two very good employees who helped us. First, Wesley was the first to greet us in the parking lot as we pulled up the U-Haul truck to pick up the car trailer. We had set up a truck and trailer combination but the main lot didn't have the trailer available so instead SSC had one. Wesley was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. As we got the trailer loaded up to the truck, his coworker Nick stepped right up to help. With the two of them helping us get the car on the trailer it was a breeze. The trailer was an excellent condition. These two employees should be commended for the excellent customer service. It made our move easier and less stressful.

CRAIG LI returned the trailer/equipment a day early. Was charged a damage fee. Usually when I rent from U-Haul. We do a visual inspection over the equipment.(by the way the reverse lights don't work ) That was not done before or after. So from spending $160 I'm charged $260 for damages that can't be proven? Absolutely horrendous.

SCOTT WIt was a seemingly efficient process. Every client was treated with respect and in a timely manner.
Heather SIt says I can use my phone to check in with truck. But when I arrive, an employee is waiting on another employee. And keys anre inside. And he was late. And when he enter the parking lot. He was speeding, and blowing dust all over my car. Then he did not have the dolly's I reserved. So had to go to another U-Haul to grab 2 dolly's. Just a waste of time running around.

BRENDA PDrop off was awesome! Before I was out of my truck, the attendant was already disconnecting the trailer. 2 min. later he said thank you and he would take care of the rest. Easiest drop off ever!
Kenneth LRental was damaged prior to pickup, pointed out damage to employee. Equipment failed after connected to tow vehicle about 8 miles from location. Called and was told to bring back and that it would be "made right". Different trailer was available, not sure why this wasn't offered when i pointed out the damage that eventually caused one the the trailer tires to become shredded due to prior damage to trailer fender well.
