The truck was clean but not in good working condition. The transmission was slipping badly and I was concerned it would quit at any moment.

I was a little late and was charged for another day that was not good customer service yes it was in the contract but a little leeway would be nice!

The truck that was rented to us had serious damage to the side. The truck had run into something by a previous renter. We pointed that out to K. at the Brookfield Rental location. He didn't record the damage we pointed out. When we went to return the truck to U Hall in NY the man said that it was never recorded, so we would have to pay the $2 000 worth of damage. The NY dealer was very kind and called his supervisor. Together they looked the truck over and identified that the truck damage had an X stamped into the truck where the damage was located. The X indicated that the damage was recorded at some point. In the mean time I called K. He said the damage wasn't there when we rented it, which was a total lie and refused to tell the man we were returning the truck to that it was there. Secondly K forgot to give use the blankets we purchased for use. When he delivered the TV box we ordered he also brought us the 24 blankets. The blankets were not clean and rapped in plastic. They were sloppily folded. They had old tape on them and foot marks from previously wrapped up furniture. I was so disappointed in K's behavior. He was very friendly and kept telling us how important customer service is. I couldn't believe my ears when he said the damage was done by us. The picture he had of the truck was not the truck we rented. The picture he put on the contract was a different trucks side that showed no damage. So frustrating to build a trust only to have it broken like that! I would love to talk to someone over the phone regarding my experience. 603.470.9988
