Rick SI use Bart for my U-haul needs. He will handle reservations and locate proper equipment at other locations, as well. All I have to do is pick up equipment at other locations. It makes it a very smooth transaction. He is very helpful and suggests the proper size of truck or trailer to use.

AARON HBart is akin to a snake oil salesman. Will pressure you for add-ons he says are required…which are not. Please make sure you do your own mileage and gas checks. Don't be pressured to 'just press ok' on the paperwork starting out, believing he's made you a sweet deal, verify with your own eyes the starting gas levels and mileage! Lesson learned that not all that's glitters is gold and some people really will say anything for an extra buck.
Amanda GThe U-Haul experience with Iowa Falls was professional and excellent! The phone call from them the day before was very helpful to know that the equipment was there and ready to pick up. The BIG problem was shorty after I made the online reservation, I got a call from a U-Haul representative telling me that the equipment that I wanted wasn't available at this location. I told the woman that I had just spoke to the man in Iowa Falls and he had assured me that they had the equipment that I wanted. She was not very polite and actually said he couldn't tell me what he had and he was wrong. I recommend you call and talk to the actual U-Haul rental location and try to avoid the company reps that call and try to make your rental experience a problem.

Shawna BPick up the Truck where you reserved it at, or within a 10 miles to the town you reserved it at. I reserved my U-Haul truck at U-Haul on University Ave. in Waterloo, Iowa. I had to drive approx. 56 miles/ one way to pick up my truck in Iowa Falls, then drive another approx. 56 miles back home to load the truck before making my trip to Des Moines. I was provided 158 miles which would of been ok had I lived in Iowa falls, but ended up going over my mileage and had to pay extra due to the extra driving because I could not pick the truck up where I reserved it at. I believe my mileage should have been based on where the truck was reserved from, not where it was picked up from.

Jarrod BPick up in iowa falls iowa was a great experience....but my reservation was not ! I was called 2 days before my pick up day only to be told I had to go to iowa falls to pick up truck/trailer and then be told to take truck/trailer to a different drop off point an hour away with no car or truck to pick me up unless someone drove there to do so which would have been a MAJOR INCONVENIENCE after a day of moving !
