John SA lot of confusion and miss information. Said it'd be $60, get there and there needs to be $100 on the card. Said there'd just be a hold on the 100.. & it gets completely taken out of my account. Return the truck, they noted the truck had less gas in it than when I had received it, false. There was more in it than when I received it. Then I ask how the remainder will be given back to me & they said it should be back immediately bc it was just on a "hold".. UPDATE the money is still not refunded into my account. Money that should be of a higher amount but it's not because they lied about the gas being lower than what it actually was.

Jamie JU-haul website and app say TinkerTown is closed Saturday but they aren't. It was great to have the truck clean of snow and warmed up when I arrived.
JESSE HI think the name of the person we dealt with is Roger. He was so kind to us and treated us like family when we unexpectedly needed a car transporter to take our 1978 MGB back home to Wisconsin. This is exactly what a small town hardware store should be like. Merci.

robert tThe only bad thing that I would say is that I left $25 for gas, and instead of it being used for gas I was charged $50 on my card for gas, and a $30 fuel service charge, which I think is ridiculous, but staff was very friendly, and helpful. I physically couldn't get the gas because it was after hours, and the pumps were shut off

Jonathan MThis has nothing to do with either location but is about Uhaul as a company. I reserved a 10 ft truck almost a month ago in Syracuse and a couple days before picking it up was told I had to drive to Oswego to pick it up. After driving 47 min out of my way I was told that the truck had never shown up and that there were no trucks in the area and there was simply nothing they could do. I had to be out of my apartment the next day so took a trailer instead and the whole debacle took 5 hours out of my day, being hung up on with Uhaul, driving around Oswego, purchasing a ball for my hitch, and towing a trailer back. I did not want a trailer and was terrified of driving it on the highway-at 45-50 mph it began to sway and I instinctively tapped on the brakes and tried to steer. Due to inexperience I jackknifed across three lanes of traffic and ended up facing oncoming traffic. I may have mentioned this, but I had reserved a truck in Syracuse, not a death trap from Oswego. I will not be using this service again if there are any other options.
Elizabeth VVery good experience. The personnel were very helpful,courteous and very professional. Very definitely glad to do it again . I will be moving into a permanent residence 8-1-22 and will most likely rent a unit again at that time from Tinkertown Hardware.
