After booking and paying for a trailer rental and booking 175 ferry tickets,I was contacted the following day and told that I had Uhaul had changed my drop off location to one that was a 45 minute drive away.

Carla RI am disabled, the lady wanted me to move truck all way down to the end of the parking lot and have me walk back to her. (I use forearm crutches so it's an obvious disability.) I did it without question but she just stared at me the whole time, but weird but whatever.. Also I didn't get the message on my phone to i was supposed to drop truck off at a different location in Port Alberni until after my 10am drop off time. So it ended up at the wrong location.. all I was told initially was drop off in Port Alberni, there Re several locations there so I chose the closest one to me.
Desiree FSince your asking here was my experience. My preferred pickup spot is 6 blocks from my house but I had to drive out of town to a run down out of business auto wrecker/salvage yard location that looked haunted to pick up my truck. This annoyed me further because without the extra mileage I wouldn't have had to pay additional fees for going over the allotted 99 miles. I was also charged for fuel surcharge even though I returned the truck full of gas. The exact amount of fuel as was in the truck when I picked it up. Also, I am charged for pads that I wanted but never received. After all, besides the fact that I had a truck that worked and made my shipment possible the rest of the experience was a complete drag and ripoff. I plan on using Budget on the very near future.

DEBORAH NI was charged more than the amount stated on my contract for a late return. The location was closed and the drop off space was on the side of the road outside a locked gate.

AMANDA DOnly went there because I order of a 20 ft truck did not show up. This order was a last resort and was not adequate so I had to rent another truck a day later as I could not fit everything in the 15 ft truck. Cost me an extra $420. Not very good. Check my orders and you will see the nightmare that we had to go thru. We will not be recommending uhaul to anyone

victor wI had to go from Victoria Bc to Port Alberni to retreive the trailer as UHaul on Topaz were unhelpful in finding this trailer, the same goes for the individual on the phone that should know WHERE all the trailers are located. On my way to Alberni, I saw trailers in Nanaimo an Lantzville. Overall a BAD experience and a "I dont care " attitude at the victoria Topaz location.

SHAYNE LThe gentleman was great. courteous & helpful. Trailer was dirty inside & out, and layered with inches of gravel on the wheel covers like it had been down FSR roads. Some of the wiring was rubbed down/worn looking but they worked so I didn't question it. Otherwise the trailer served its purpose & move went well.

He arbitrarily quite earlier then his posted Google hours and did not do a thorough sweep of the whole vehicle to realize I left a bunch of straps in the cab.
