BERNA HMy experience with the U-boxes was good and bad. I was able to get all my belongings packed tightly into 5 U-Boxes. They did get picked up and delivered to my new home in Texas. The U-Box drop off and pickup process was excellent in Texas from Cecilia. Unfortunately, timing is not a priority for UHaul. My boxes were delivered early. That was OK with me. I called to have them picked up. It took them 3 days for them to pick up the boxes. They were late sending the boxes to Texas. They arrived in Texas 3 days after they promised to deliver them. I called to have the boxes removed, and it took another 4 days for UHaul to pick them up. One last issue is the size of the U-Boxes. They are supposed to be 95" long. I found them to be 91" long. Unfortunately, those 4" can be critical for some furniture pieces. If I move again, I will probably use PODS.

Horrible experience and no one could have cared less. Last pick up dealer was fair, other 2 should be fined and compensated me. Hope I never have to rent again from U-Haul!
Kurt WGreat overall experience. Didn't know I'd need a padlock beforehand, but an adequate was was cheap and available in store, so no worries there. Staff was extremely helpful throughout the process.

DALE GFive stars for overall moving experience with u-box. Another five stars for Lincoln Park, Grand Junction Uhaul, for kindness and going extra mile to help us out during our move from FL to CO. This awesome truck driver lady name Madison was really helpful in lining up my boxes by the curb with doors facing my front door for easy unloading into the house. I appreciate it so much. She communicate well, called back when she said she'd call back with time and everything. I will definitely use uhaul again for moving. The smoothest move i've had.

TERRY WEquipment was mostly clean but could have been better. Thought the truck rode like a brick! Was horrible on concrete pavement. Dont know if that is normal or if the truck needs to be serviced. Anyway, won't be renting a 26' truck from UHaul again.

alicia l | Expérience généraleI was completely disrespected and angered by the manner in which I was spoken and handled by the GM and staff member at 12611 Research Blvd · (512) 258-5255. They were extremely rude, disrespectful and ended up hanging up on me. They left me on speaker not knowing and I overheard them handling a customer rudely, and when I asked them to then take me off speaker phone they would not. I told them I was not happy how they spoke to the customer, I asked them to take me off speaker again, I tried to request a van pickup and when I asked the two women to stop talking to me over speaker phone and just have one person speak to me they hungup. The fact I then had to pay to have my box delivered since I refused to call them again and get a van caused me to spend more money than I should have. So for that reason Im not recommending uhaul and dont plan to ever use the service here in Austin.

CAMILLE BBoth pickup and drop off locations were maintained well in the areas I saw. The Auto Trailer was amazingly simple and user friendly. It towed very nicely as well. My only issue was that I had brake lights and turn signals but no running lights. That created a hazard after dark.

LE'ANDRA H | Expérience généraleI used the app to pick up and drop off my truck. I tried reporting a minor problem on the app, but when I did that, it would not let me continue to drop off the truck, so I restarted and said that there was nothing wrong. The problem is that the drivers side door will beep when it is open and no key is in the ignition. That was annoying and not very helpful.
SEAN BI had 3 pending charges in my bank that took a while to get figured out. I know part of that is my bank but from your end I should have only had one pending charge that got sent through when I brought back the trailer. Not 3. Maybe find a better system than the one you have. Otherwise it was a good experience.

They were just awesome. The ladies from both locations delivered the boxes exactly where I wanted them, they were absolute professionals at backing trailers, driving the fork lifts, and were just impressive at their abilities. I hope their management teams take notice of their value to the company. My move was very large, I had 10 U-Boxes and I moved 2000 miles. I could not have asked for an easier experience. The delivery coordinators were excellent, the delivery drivers were amazing, and to top it all off, they were friendly too. In today's world, you know that's a welcome surprise. Thank you, U-Haul, for having such an awesome staff. Kudos to the GJ delivery team: Alleshya and Madison Kudos to the Simpsonville delivery Team: Cherrell and Shereka These ladies deserve raises, they are the best of the best.

Everything was easy and worked except for the fact that we forgot the lock key at home in Littleton when we were there to move him in for the new year. However, the employees were able to give us a number to a locksmith and he helped us get the lock and unit open. We will rent a unit from Uhaul again next spring/summer, but we won't forget the lock key again!

Durring my day off every week, Sunday, they have reduced hours in the car port side of the facility, and ope9nong at 6am, and closing at 11pm is rediculess when it's a self storage facility. As a night workwr,those are my main hours functioning as a human. I hated having to stay up till 6am ypur time, an hour from bedtime my time, or wake up hours early, on a working day, or jistvnevwr sleep in on my one day off a week, to access my property. The one time I got to use the car port, I had a worker track me down, to ask me to move my truck from the car port so he could lock it up, my storage unit was 1159, caticorner from the entrance. So tha kful he interputed me grabbing 2 boxes, and helped me make the decission to save $1 992 a year by not using this "self storage " storage facility.

The requirement for a certain type of lock is also bizarre considering I've done my homework on my lock and know that it is harder to pick and just as resistant to a set of bolt cutters. This is my 3rd storage unit and has probably been the worst one so far.

I have a friend that had the same size unit and only paid 80 per month and i was paying 150.00. that's almost double? her unit was climate controlled as well? The staff was helpful, expecially Jake, the office contact and Misty, the lady that cleans the hallways.

Steven A | Expérience généralethe space (unit 1911) had signs of visible water damage (missing ceiling tiles and yellow water spots) and mold, not good for storing anything but especially problematic for upholstered furniture. in an effort to protect my furniture, we put our moving blankets on the floor. because black mold is toxic and the spores love to stick to fabric, i left the moving blankets in the storage space (per the instructions of the woman working there yesterday, i did not get her name but she was cleaning up the storage space area). anyways, the cost of the blankets is a loss on my end and it seems like the fair thing would be a reimbursement. all the staff at this location that i interacted with were great, but the space itself was not great. and the general vibe of homeless/undomiciled people around the facility is kind of a bummer too.

My lock was seriously damaged and was hard to open that it was basically not usable anymore after I removed it from your location. So basically the money I spent on the lock went down the drain. Also when I went to tell yall I was moved out nobody was at the front desk. I could hear someone in the adjacent office making phone calls and I made noise to make make presence known and that didn't give them a hint to maybe come check and see if I needed help. I waited 20 minutes before someone finally came from the inside storage area I gather, they wernt outside but not right inside either. The lady on the phone was right around the corner and I know she could here the door open and close a few times. When I told the guy who checked me out about my unit about being broke. Into all he said is oh really. The wall next to where the lock and mechanism is was all scratched up and banged up as well.

TRACI H | Expérience généraleWhen we first came in to rent to storage unit the lady at the front desk was extremely rude I assume because we were taking to long to get her the information she needed and stated "come on I need a name or an id I'm busy and have things I need to get done" which I thought was less than professional. Once the person arrived with the credit card needed to open the account the lady went outside and spoke with what I assume was the manager who then came inside and told us that the 5x5x9 the lady just said they had available not 5 minutes prior was no longer available and we had to get a larger unit, which I find extremely hard to believe. I'm going to assume that because I told the extremely rude employee that I understood she had a job to do and she was busy but as paying customers helping us is infact part of her busy day that she took it upon herself to lie and say the size we wanted was not available. Call me crazy but as far as I'm concerned that is not how employees should treat customers. I may have said some foul things towards the end but that is only due to the stage she set when we first arrived. Every single employee at this location need to take some classes on proper customer service. As a customer it is non of my business not is it my concern how many units this lady has to sweep, or how busy she is, so her telling me she is too busy to wait for us was extremely unprofessional. If this is the way you encourage your employees to conduct business then I'd much rather my money back.

We rented a 9' Cargo van to make a long distance move and it was a good experience. When arriving in GJ we needed to rent a storage. The climate controlled storage unit is just what we needed.

They have a clean facility and pest control to help keep it that way. Carts are at the door to help move items in and out. Staff was super helpful at the time of rental and checkout. My van was under the garage door that is suppose to stay open when you are unloading. but I saw it go down onto my van to where my dish satellite was. It left a mark. I don't hv it hooked up now and I don't know if it damaged it. It was on camera and seen my staff. When I asked the staff at arond 7 pm they said there was nothing on file about it. I was also told by staff via phone when I reserved the storage that I would receive a 10 by 20 storage that I could drive up to and just care my boxes into. I was also told at the beginning that my truck was 19,6 from back to front not including the cab over which made my move very hard. I had to leave some of my stuff behind. When I tried to switch trucks to a 26' kJ in Prescott told me I would hv to pay for both trucks in order to make that happen. I did reserve a 26' the night before but kJ told me when I came in the next morning that he didn't hv one. When I told him I had reserved one then he said it was broke. He told me to rent a trailer which was supposed to make the space the same as a 26'. All the staff were nice through the process except for kJ.. The last time I used you. I turned my rental in early and they gave me some of my fee back. This time they told me they don't do that with debt only cash. I also left my charger for my ph in the cab. I will call the storage to see if they put it away for me. Thank you, Morgan Dillard
