Getting charged 4,5 a gallon for going a total of 6 miles after putting 10$ in the tank before returning 1/4 mile away is bonkers because the needle read higher than the information given to me and on the truck. Not to mention an after hour return fee cost that's more than the base rate for the rental. Don't offer hours to rent past a certain time or make the selection for day specific with return time. Thankfully this was the first time renting with uhaul and will most definitely be the last, atleast im convinced to buy a trailer now. So unless I'm in dire need of a box truck or a unit to live out of, I'll ask a friend's uncle's nephews cousins grandpa's son in law.. keep up the good work

Drop off was very fast and convenient. I informed the staff about a leek in the roofs trailer and they looked at it right away and told me it would be out of service until they could find and fix the leak.

Many issues with the system and the lack of staffing. Took an hour and 45 to get through the line get the trailer. The only guy working was doing the best he could and we felt bad for him

I never was actually in the unit because my ex put a lock on it and I know there were literally just 2 dressers with clothes in it. That can all be thrown out or donated as far as I'm concerned.

No one in office when I arrived. I texted and called number provided but was about 5 minutes to arrive. I didn't see any other customers but it's a big place, they could be in back. A better response notification would be helpful so someone knows your coming

The truck has loose weather stripping by the drivers side window that was flapping as you drove. However truck was clean inside and out. Employees at pick up was very friendly. At drop off had an issue with my app and the employee was just closing but was very helpful.

The Ohio street drop off was great. The Felix auto shop was an odd drop off spot, but it worked well for us. Merci!

The ohio street location was swamped. When the truck was being returned; there was only 1 person working on a Sunday at 10am. We have always preferred the Koeller St location over any of the others nearby.

The truck was pretty dirty inside and quite beat up on the outside. I waited over 20 minutes for someone to come out when I returned the truck.

Ridiculous hidden charges. A one way trip with the smallest truck they had ended up being over $200! I'll make 100 trips back and forth rather than giving you guys another fucking penny.

after i loaded my 12x8 enclosed trailer and was on my way to my destination the trailer disconnected from my hitch and was uncontrollably swerving all over the road i was driving 45mph and almost was involved in a car accident with my children in the car due to the U-Haul associate not connecting the trailer correctly. the tongue of the trailer went under my car and crushed my exhaust damaged my bumper and ripped out wires. the airbag light on my dash is now lit (but never deployed) ... i contacted customer service and they informed me that they would be in touch.

Start with customer service. I downloaded the app days before my reservation completing all the required information in advance. Which was about 20 minutes of work. Downloading driver's license and filling out all the forms. Asking the insurance. But when I arrived I had to do it all over again. What was the point of checking in, in advance if I had to do it all over again? Very deceiving on pricing. One day rental cost me $265 when they boast about very low rates. Also very bad customer service when trying to find the truck I rented. I received a text with the licence plate number I was supposed to take. The two guys in the office didn't care to help me find it. Had to go back in and they told me to look for the number on truck. Will never rent here again.

It was the most pleasant and enjoyable visit I've ever had with UHaul. Every part of the transaction. The phone call to reserve the trailer and then the next day at the store - it was such a fun visit. Michael was polite, positive and fun. Not to mention efficient, knowledgeable and respectful. This is now my go to Uhaul location!! 5 stars all the way.

GM Michael was so kind and helpful when we rented a trailer. From his warm greeting, knowledge and helping hook up the trailer, I will always go to his site when needing any moving supplies. The trailer rented was in the best condition as could be expected due to its age.

I'm not really a big fan of being led to believe you're only paying $19,95 for the day of the truck. I wasn't expecting to pay $88 just being a couple of miles over the limit. Even after consuming the distance with the associate neither of us actually thought of the real mileage that would be used. The price just seems a little misleading.

Better training for your employees on hitch inspection and installation. I made it all the way to Milwaukee only for the trailer to almost jump on the hitch. Pulled into a U-haul in Milwaukee to get help and the folks there said it was installed/attached poorly. Great customer service but could use better education around customer support and the products you offer.

Billing issue and misunderstanding about putting my credit card on file for payments. Also, speaking to staff telling them we moved out and paying last balance never followed through.

Received the truck on empty, but told I had to bring It back with a quarter tank. Had to extend the rental by 2 days and ended up having to pay a total of $170.00. I was told when I called to extend It that It would be another $97.00. None of the totals made any sense and It was all very frustrating. I need to rent another truck in 2 weeks but will definitely be going elsewhere.

The app was a nightmare. I spent 2 hours trying to get it to work. It kept refreshing and getting rid of things I already put in. Also the 2 forms of ID thing is ridiculous unless you let someone know ahead of time. I am not carrying my passport or a lease around with me. I am lucky that my work is a 24 hour profession.

I was very pleased when I picked up the uhaul. But when I returned it I was not. I was standing in the lobby for over 20 minutes no one ever showed up and I finally did the return online. That was beyond irritating.

Great service from the time that I called at 7:30 a.m. until my new hitch installation was completed at noon on the very same day. Adam was informative, helpful and very thorough throughout the entire process. I'm returning for a follow up appointment for wiring harness installation when the pasts come in. This was like the best service I've received in a long time. Thank you for the good work!

Was never discussed a mile and not being from here paid cash and deposit. Turning in vehicle was difficult. Customer services were beyond helpful. Maintenance on vehicle was poor. The manager told me that if I wanted to leave a negative review on Google that was up to me but that it would not affect her. I was locked out of my unit for an additional 3 weeks after my due date was cleared up. When I asked about this they told me "because someone's not doing their job." and no apology was given.

This was the worst storage experience I have ever had. The GM locked me out of my units without any notice for a month and I had trouble getting a hold of her in order to get back in. It turns out she had locked me out because she had gotten in trouble with her boss because of something inappropriate written on her board and it included my phone number so she decided I was to blame and locked me out of my units which contained all of my possessions as I was homeless at the time. Anytime I tried to get a hold of her to get anything done, she sent me straight to voice-mail. I tried talking to her supervisors and was often brushed off and told to talk to her instead. I was overcharged for my units and it took almost a month to get it straightened out. I would never recommend this site, let alone this company to anyone.

I reached out to the manager before pulling out my property a few times and was not given a response once. I was told that I would get a lein feebtaken off of my bill a total of 3 times and paid it with no discount and no refund. I was also quoted less than my monthly contract. I moved for work and had to come all the way back a few times to take care of it. My experience was not a favorable one and I was not refunded the Lein fees that I was told would be taken off and refunded. Overall I was happy to not lose things that were left to me by my parents that passed away and need3d to store them because of working on the road and not being around.

There are no lights in the units and it’s so inconvenient to enter your security code every time you go in, especially when you’re storing a full house worth of belongings.

Maria & Nathan were especially helpful! They're also very personable, well organized & exhibit an outstanding customer service attitude. I appreciated the fine facility but these 2 people are exemplary U-Haul representatives. The company is lucky to have them!

Everything was fine. Except for the fact that only 3 days into the month they charged a whole month without prorating for three days of use From May 12th thru August 15th the charged my card every month on the 12th. This is all fine but when asked what they could do. No one responded back and got charged for entire month up til Sept 12th. Very upsetting to get charged a whole month and not one person even tried to help me out

There was supposed to be a lock in unit 1081, the office promised me a free promotional lock. I completed the process online. When I get there with a car load of stuff, no lock inside the unit. The unit is totally dark and there is space that is taken up by plumbing. I feel like this was a $215 mistake. I just wanted a bigger unit. Not a completely dark unit, that is supposed to be 50 % bigger than my current unit but has a bunch of pipes in the corner. That was not disclosed to me. It doesn't even look like it's 50 % bigger. I am not happy with it, at all.

Every time I went there there was always garbage all over the place outside and inside from other tenants well if they were cleaning out their car or whatever garbage in the bathroom I don't know I didn't see anybody cleaning anything up but overall it was a good storage unit and was well secure I don't know why they didn't have a maintenance person they're cleaning every cleaning the place up

We originally went into a different uhaul location and we were completely unimpressed..we received zero help from the person working at the time and ultimately left frustrated and without a storage unit. The poor customer service or lack there of led us to this location..our experience at this location was the complete opposite. We had an opportunity to interact with four different associates and they were all equally helpful..knowledgeable and courteous! I would definitely recommend this uhaul location.

Not mentioning the additional 10$ charge for the 24/7 storage was an issue. Especially when I got locked out of the facility with my storage unit wide open and a truck full of belongings left to be stored. The carts are difficult to push or pull through front access door, the large bump caused many belongings to fall off the carts.

My cell phone number was entered by mistake on someone else's U-Haul account. I started getting calls about a past due bill for a storage unit I didn't rent in a town two hours away from where I live. At first I patiently explained to the callers that they had the wrong number on the account. Then I continued to receive calls and messages for several months. Eventually I became less patient with repeatedly explaining the error and asking them to remove my number. Now I received a text message asking me to take a survey and rate my experience. Unbelievable. Please, U-Haul, you need to find some way to enable your customer service reps to fix a simple error so they stop calling and texting me.

Nice area, could have been kept a little cleaner around the community sharing thing, which I thought was a cool thing to have. Sometimes there was garbage around but nothing to extreme, it is a storage unit after all. I didn't have any problems in my 4 months of renting.

For the life of me, I cannot find the name of the amazing employee that helped me, but she was honestly fantastic. Her name starts with a C, and it's killing me I can't give her the kudos she deserves. The online reservation, check-in, and tutorial process were seamless! Everything was convenient and streamlined, and I feel safe leaving our belongings there while we move.

Nobody in the building had any idea how to do anything with any sense of urgency, it seemed like it was everybody’s first day on the job, expect for the gm, who if I had to guess had two months of experience.

The employees were friendly and helpful enough, but the overall experience was not good. First there was some confusion about the reservation, and the location of the storage unit. Then I got my card and could not get it to work, and one employee could not get it to work, but then the more knowledgeable employee got it to work on the first try. I continued having issues with my key card throughout the move in process, sometimes taking up to 10 swipes to get it to work. It was also extremely frustrating that there was no way or option to keep the door open while moving everything into my unit, especially since I had family helping and I was the only one with the key card. The first unit I was supplies was an 8x10, which I was informed could hold everything on a 15' truck. That unit had a small door and a relatively small hallway which made it nearly impossible to fit my larger furniture in to the unit. When we put my first large item in there, a 3 seat couch, it already took up half the unit. I also did not appreciate that the unit was very dark and had no available light source. Anyway, as soon as we realized the unit would not do, we managed to speak to the employees right as they were closing and thankfully they were still very helpful with switching me to a larger unit. That unit us much nicer and although there still isn't a light source inside, lighting was no issue, and it has a garage door entrance which made it MUCH easier to move my many large items into it.

Everything was very convenient for our move. The only thing we had issues with was getting contact I formation correct. A second phone number and an additional address were entered wrong and weren't double checked before entering into the system. I caught the mistake after looking at the paperwork for the storage unit. Otherwise everything went very smoothly for our future move to Oshkosh.

The Ohio St Oshkosh storage Uhaul staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. And the manager there is outstanding she helped me every step of the way. I had a storage unit there for almost 5 years. And used uhaul to move my things out of that storage thank you so much for the very great hospitality! If I ever need storage again they would be the first I would come to.

My box springs and king size bed platform took water damage and I threw it away. I was pretty much forced to remove all my belongings from my paid storage unit because they would've removed it themselves. I was left to last second come up with a solution to find a place to store all my things. It also didn't help I was only able to go into my storage on their time. I had to have permission just to go in my storage unit when I paid for 24/7 access. You guys went back on stuff which is in the contract. You guys handled everything bad and screwed me over and a lot of people on my floor. I pay 150 month for a secure climate control building and I got this.

I had called the facility on 9/24 and indicated that I would be in on Saturday to move everything out of the unit. I stated that I would be willing to pay for the 2 extra days of use. The representative said ok. When I arrived at the facility on Saturday morning at 7:15am. We had to wait for the door to be unlocked even though it was supposed to open at 7:00. We rented a 10' u-haul truck for the expressed purpose of cleaning out the storage unit. Once we were done, we returned the truck to the facility. The person made us wait outside and had a poor attitude when questions were asked about being refunded the difference in mileage. She argued that we were never charged even after me showing her the pending charge on my account. A couple hours after leaving the facility, we received a call from the unpleasant person who had checked in the truck stating that we owed 149 for the storage unit. I advised that I had spoken with someone 2 days prior and had advised that I was moving out today and that I would be paying for the 2 extra days of use. And nothing was said about paying the full amount. She said that it was told to me because there is a note on the account. I advised her again that it was not and said that I hope their calls are recorded. She said she would send it to her manager. A little while later I received an email receipt for the payment. I called the facility about it and told them that I do not authorize them to make the charge and I will pay for the 2 days that I stated before and was told ok. The "manager" got on the phone and started saying that she was the one who had spoken to me and that I was told it would be the full amount. I said no listen to the phone call because that was not said. A little while later I received a link via email to the recorded call, which the representative knew I would not be able to access since I am not an employee. Then after sending an email stating that and that I would be calling corporate, I received a screenshot of a note in some account. This was a very poor experience. I have been a uhaul customer for many years and have used u-hauls truck rental at least 4 times in the past 5 years, but around 10 times in my lifetime. I have spent quite a bit of money with u-haul and due to this experience, I will be searching out other options if/ when I move again.

Not sure why I there been this delay and confusion with my rental unit. I rented and moved in to the unit on 3/23 and will need it till at least June 12th and am receiving phone calls and emails daily.

I wouldn't even give one star if I have to , the guy named Seth wasn't trained to install the hitch and electronics it took 4 days And still didn't know how to install. It was a nightmare I wouldn't recommend this store if you have to install hitch.

Would like better room dimensions and drawings of the room. I thought room was bigger than it was and had to change rooms while in site. Seth, the GM, was very understanding and accommodating

I was continually impressed with the service by Seth, a relatively new manager at this location. We were greeted warmly & made sure everyone was attended to. We found our truck cleaned & safe. After having several prior negative experiences in the Green Lake & Ripon area, the store on Ohio Street was a welcome change, definitely recommend.

The young man helping us (Thane) was excellent. Sunday morning was so busy,the line was long, customers were rude. Thane was the only one working and was extremely polite. More help needed!

it took a very long time to get my swipe card to work and i had to ask the employees to help find my storage unit and how to get into the building. very nice but not very helpful.

The new indoor storage facility is very clean and well lit. It has an easy check in/out process and a serious alarm goes off if you forget to check in.

I found the indoor storage to be a great option. I chose the 10' x 15' room & found the rate very reasonable. Some people had complained about humidity, so I hung 3 Damp-Rid hangers & no problems.

While unrelated to Storage, the after hour smart phone truck drop application is useless for customers (seniors) what are less skilled with a smart phone app that requires taking pictures, etc.
