When we picked up u haul .. got home Padlock on it! Husband had to drive 25 miles back to get it off! Then left tire blew out in Tennessee and had to wait 2 hrs for repair. The dealer manager at Allen Rd at Peoria IL was very nice and highly recommend him. Can't read the receipt sent upon return today? What were our total charges for this Uhaul rental? Have the equipment where it supposed to be, not behind a locked gate. I reserved to.pivk up at 8 o'clock but it was 9 o'clock when am employee finally came to help me I could not find my assigned truck, the key box took 2 wrenches to open ito get the keys. You put me behind schedule waiting for an hour. The app didn't work, I tried the website and it was not working correctly. Your employees should have the trucks prepared to match the reservations.

There were more customers in the morning than there was staff to handle. It took 30 minutes to get someone to hook up the trailer to my truck. They were very competent and fast when they finally got to serve me.

The location I use is VERY busy. Even though they are very busy they are always polite, courteous, and answer all of my questions. They could use an extra person to answer the phones though.

On pick up my son had to pay for the rental because UHaul said my card was not on file with them. I ordered the UHaul on line and included my credit card information. Was awkward for my son. .

When I arrived, I followed the signs to the rental return location. There was nobody there to greet me. As I walked to the building, a gentleman told me to take the trailer to a different location in the parking lot and unhook the trailer there. I asked, "You want me to unhook the trailer over there?" he said yes. I asked if he was going to unhook the trailer and he again told me to take it over there and unhook it. Now, I've rented the same sized trailer twice before at different locations, but this is the first time the staff didn't unhook the trailer for me, didn't inspect the cleanliness of the inside of the trailer, didn't inspect the trailer for damage, etc. So, I went to the area in the parking lot I was told to go, but there was no clear designated trailer spot to put it. I backed up near a curb. It was a challenge getting the safety chains disconnected and it took both my wife and I to get the trailer off the ball. At the point, the trailer rolled away from us where it slipped out of our hands and the trailer wheels slammed into the curb. Our hands were dirty. I had not expected to provide my own return service.

After getting in the truck and driving off I realized they had not done a deep check of the truck. The right turn signal had a bulb out and there was trash under the seat and behind the seat, even a hat from someone.

I always receive the best service at this location. I guess the only recommendation would be to make sure there is enough help. The person helping with me with my rental (sorry I didn't get his name) had 3 or 4 people come in, 3 lines ringing & he handled it all with grace. I wanted to also rent another unit but decided to get that later so he could answer those calls & take care of the people behind me. I also want to say the manager of the Meadowbrook location was amazing & helpful. Thank you James!

Stop taking multiple deductions out of my account 3 to 4 days after I bring a truck back early, yesterday it was one thing today it made my account lower , really doesn't make any sense you taking different sums out I want it stopped!!

I am a regional manager for Perkins next to this facility and the gentleman who helped me both days does not follow directions. My boss and I who is VP of operations were closing down a store and needed two U-Haul trucks. We had him adjust our truck size and pick up day but he completely botched the drop off locations and whether we are going one way or out of town. He told me there was nothing he could do. He couldn't figure out the issue and then proceeded to blame me for his mess up. We usually rent up to 20 trucks a year and we always use U-Haul but we will no longer.

Check out the charging system for a day and a half the warning flashing light would come on saying that the van charging battery is not working.

My last 2 rentals the vans are very dirty, today's rental had a lot of mud on the floor mats and door entry. Your location is very convenience, the care of your units has not been good lately. I thank you for great service.

Had a lot of inconvenience with the storage shutter not staying in place when opened. Also unhappy that when I'm ending my storage rental, the monthly rent paid cannot be prorated.

I was worried that I didnt follow regular return procedure through app and that I overestimated my miles. But I was charged only for the miles I drove and not doing the 'return my truck' didn't cause problems. Appreciate that it was a hassle free experience

I had people waiting for me and there was very little gas. It said 27 miles as soon as I got it. So I had to buy gas and had people on the time clock waiting for me. I do not understand why 1/4 tank is target vs full tank like rental cars.

The man at the counter yesterday was exceptional. Nice younger man with longer dark hair. He explained everything well and even came out to make sure the tailor was attached correctly. Easy process and definitely will use them again.

James and his team did an excellent job accommodating our U-Box pic up. He was there on Sunday to drop the trailer/u-box so I can pick it up to load and returned the next day. Overall very excellent experiences.

My belongings were very dusty and dirty when we came to pick my things up. We reserved a climate controlled unit but it was given to another customer. The staff was fantastic, and so helpful! The front office was clean as were the restrooms. However, when we opened the unit, there was broken glass on the floor. Thankfully we had a broom and dustpan in the trailer, so it wasn't tracked in with my belongings.

Our unit was half filled with someone else’s belongings

I originally chose a smaller storage unit but decided to upgrade to a larger one. The staff took care of this quickly. However, once I entered the storage unit, I saw leftover items from the previous renter. I did call the office to let them know that I'd pulled out all the leftover items. When I returned later that day to begin storing my items, the previous tenant's items were still outside the storage unit. Otherwise, this was a quick and easy experience. Merci.

For some reason, this company kept on emailing me even though I contacted them stating that the email had on file was not the correct email for the person renting their unit. I have never been to Illinois, and they refused to update it to the actual person renting it. Completely unprofessional. I feel bad for the person who was actually renting the unit, who probably never got a single notification.

TJ went above & beyond showing me where & how to use the keypad when the gate was suddenly closed one day. Some of the male employees need more training in customer service & to be taught to not be so lazy (only a few of them).

The employee that not quite helped me was very unpleasant to deal with. Overall a very unpleasant initial experience dealing with that particular individual. Everyone else was great though so I was just unlucky I guess. My second visit was what should be expected however. Management was pleasant helpful and very professional so good job to that guy. I lost the key to my unit and explained that I haven't even used the storage unit. I asked them to just cut the lock and bill me for the month I had used it. The manager refused and started cussing at me. Telling me that he will continue to bill be until I find my key and get my stuff out. They now say I owe them $1500 in fees. WORST PLACE EVER!

Facility needs more staff went there one day there was 1 person on their busiest day of the week how do we considerable amount of time just to ask a question. Later in the day when the rush was over they had multiple people there working. Whenever I called I had to wait on hold extensive amount of time.. Staff was nice and courteous.

It wasn't explained that I had to take pitchers of the unit and go on line and dhow I was out of my unit. I then received an email telling me I needed to pay my rent Which I emailed back that I gave been out of my unit and turned in my key since September 23 as I knew the rent was due on the 24th, and I knew I could get a unit where my other things are for $40 vs $114. My unit for the $40 is a 5x10. So there was no way I was paying $114 for that tiny unit. I then got treating email to be assessed late fees on top of rent. Earlier I apparently went over on my miles was told when I returned the truck that I was good to go. Then I see where you took $40 extra besided the $31 I owed out of my checking account without notice, as I checked my emails at the time I seen you took the money out and there was none. I called and the manager said the would have it turned which it was about 10 business days later and after my automatic payments bounced due to the extra $40 that caused bounced check fees of $20 2x's and bounce check fees on my automatic payments. So taking this extra $40 ending up costing me an extra $80. So no I will only use you if I have to and nor recommend you to anyone.

I also feel as if your storage is really high after the free 30 days I already rent a full storage unit over twice as big for $40 a month however they had no units available at this time hoping they do at the end of the 30 days or my divorce is final

The reason why I said average cause the manager were very very rude, don't know how to communicate, very smart mouth, every body that's go get a uhaul or storage from there, he slow and very rude, the line be very long cause he very very slow, next time I will be taking my business else where, he still charge me for the unit, but I moved my stuff out feb 4, 2020, didn't take the lock off and I came in to talk to him about it, he was rude to me in front of customers and I was embarrassed about the situation cause their were other people around, thank you

The only thing I was very upset with was when my girlfriend and I called the call center, we were told one thing and the prices were cheaper than what was posted when we went to purchase the storage unit. We were told there was a 7x5 storage locker and it was air controlled. We were quoted 75.00. When I got there the other uhaul facility was a mile away and with the coronavirus I did not want to be going everywhere. I purchased a 12x5 unit. For 109 a month. This part I was very upset because we were given different info. The employees at the uhaul were very professional and nice. I would like a response as I am very angry about the inconsistent pricing and info. Your call center gives out verses the actual information that is given out.
