More people helping customers, there was a bit of a line. Once I was checked in I was assisted in the yard loading. Super fast hookup, testing of the setup and on my way. Amazing. This was NOTHING like my past experiences. I am a fan!

Provide links to pay for remaining balances instead of just telling customers they have one. I tried calling to pay but was told I had to go online. But there's no selection on line for paying off what you owe unless its for a storage unit

I was in to have trailer hitch wiring installed. They did an excellent job. The entire process took about an hour which I thought was very timely.

The persons beind the counter have always been very helpful and careful, and make the process very smooth and without worry. They are also friendly and polite. Jordan was a good example of the careful service and nice attitude, adn remembered my name after months from last time.

pickedup and returned utility trailer to the same Bloomington location, receipt showed I returned trailer to different location and charged me for wrong location dropoff. Still trying to resolve error, poor service at this location.

No one was around to help. The lot was completely full and we couldn't figure out where to leave the trailer. We eventually shoved it into a spot as far out of the roadway as possible. There was no help to lift it off the hitch. The app said we were done, but I'm not sure what we would have done if we couldn't have lifted it. Self serve is not always good.

The trailer had not been cleaned out after the previous use. A pile of moving materials from the previous rental were left inside, I had to get rid of them before I could use the trailer. Lesson learned, look inside the trailer before you accept it!

Patty A. and Joseph G. could not have made the process any easier or more pleasant. I was on a tight timeline after a hitch I purchased elsewhere arrived without bolts. After spending several hours trying to find the correct bolts at hardware and auto shops, I tried U-Haul on a whim. Not only did they have the correct bolts, but they also had my exact same hitch in stock. When Joseph said he could install it on the spot, I was sold. The entire process took less than an hour. Wish I had gone to them in the first place. Je les recommande fortement.

Had a tail light out. I only checked turn signal and 4 way flashers when I picked trailer up.Also on Sunday morning when dropping trailer when they opened, no one around to see where trailer should go. I moved one and made room. Otherwise, trailer pulled very nice!

There was no one to help us get the trailer off the hitch, and once we finally found someone, he said he was on break and wouldn't be there for "a while" until my mom convinced him to just help us.

The Lyndale location was excellent and I would highly recommend. I was a bit disappointed in the Hiawatha location because that's where my original reservation was placed and they didn't have what I had reserved on hand when I arrived, so I was made to drive to Bloomington no apologies or honest explanation. It's fine, I understand things happen, but I will probably just reserve at the Lyndale location next time. Merci

Every year for past 6 years I have rented the same size trailer. This one was in rough shape and was difficult to back up. Electric brakes were rough and very clunky.

Your staff was amazing for both the truck rental and the storage unit, and walking me through to show me everything! Exceptional service! I so appreciated you being open on Sunday whereas other storage was not. It was the day I needed to find a storage when I could not fit all my items in a new office. I've used this location twice in the past few months and have been thoroughly impressed with the people working at the desk for taking my order for truck rentals. Friendly people and that seems to be rare in the world today. Keep up the good work!!

the location is NOT user friendly -- you rent in one building then walk across the street to retrieve or drop off then have to walk up a hill and across the street again ...i dropped off a truck a couple weeks back -- NO one in the receiving --had to walk back up the hill and across the street. NO off street parking for your vehicle

There was trash in the cab of the truck. Despite specifically asking in pickup the truck did not in fact have a 2 inch ball hitch. I called customer service and they said they would credit me with 30 miles to help me get a hitch without the mileage charge. My phone died during drop off so I handed the keys to an employee that was very accommodating but despite putting in as much gas in as I got it in (with photo evidence) I was charged for 2 gallons and the 30 miles "added" weren't there so I owed more for my rental because I had to drive and get a 2inch ball hitch. Terrible experience. Had Uhaul kept either of their words I would have been happy. But neither kept their word.

I always get wonderful service when I'm doing business with this particular Uhaul store in Bloomington, MN off 89th and Lyndale Ave south. They keep their store quite clean, especially the bathrooms. And they do a pretty good job at keeping there lot stocked with a variety of trucks. Thank You, Tim, Mgr @ Uhaul

Graffiti on the truck on the outside. I reserved for the wrong time and they told me they couldn't adjust it but then I did it online and was able to get a truck at the right time. Not a very positive experience.

Upset because originally had booked a Uhaul close to the location of my current and new apartment, which were only 3 miles apart. Uhaul had a mix-up with my reservation and had me drive 30min away to pick up a truck for my movers for an alotted time slot, adding more mileage onto the truck. Totally understand it is the 1st of the month but this was very disappointing.

When I got in the truck I noticed that the check engine light was on. I called them before I pulled away. Was on for over 2 minutes and still was unable to reach them. I finally walked in and someone explained that it was only a bad sensor. The passenger door also had a hard time closing. Overall staff was very friendly and the customer team When I had to extend my reservation twice were both friendly.

I was trying to help someone find a place to store things. They took advantage of you and me and were using it it like a motel. Your staff were very professional about sharing the in fractions with me and we got the person moved out with little hassle. My apologies to the staff.

Scheduled a trailer and storage unit the night before and everything went well. There was a promotion online about renting a trailer and getting a free month of storage however when I checked out it was still showing full price. Asked the representative about it and she was very helpful and said to call if it showed payment for next month. Everyone was helpful and location was clean!

The overall experience my partner and I had was seamless, non stressful, accommodating and just great. We had a lot of negative experiences with other storage facilities in trying to get storage, but U-Haul really redeemed the storage industry in my eyes with this experience. Now the truck rental with U-Haul was quite the opposite, but that has been resolved as well. So thanks U-Haul for making this experience a good one

It was pretty clear my unit had been only minimally inspected before being made available to me. There was a cigarette lighter on the floor in a corner, and a number of small roundish objects both in solid black and white colors. I think the black ones are some kind of dead insect or beetles, no idea about the white ones, moth eggs maybe? Rodent droppings god forbid? Definitely doesn't make me enthusiastic about using the unit for storage and if I wasn't in a hurry helping a relative I would cancel it and go elsewhere. Anything I do put in there will be in whatever form of sealed container or bag I can contrive. As another example of how minimal any turnover work was, there was supposed to be a lock in the unit as well but that was forgotten. No reason to complain here, one was offered right away with zero issue, I just offer it as another data point/example. A couple cigarette butts on the floor in the hall near my unit make wonder about building security and surveillance too, if not necessarily the safety of my unit itself. It's a big place with a lot of floor space and winding hallways. Very easy for someone to be doing something they shouldn't around the corner from a camera. On the other hand, I can't emphasize enough how friendly and helpful the staff were. I don't want to sound like an angry customer and I never want to be one. The storage unit gives me pause and I'll be using it for as briefly as I can, but I have nothing but praise for the staff personally.

We are very picky about cleanliness and proper organization. We do not give good ratings unless they are well deserved. Your facility and staff are excellent. We arrived in Minneapolis after many days on the road from California. This is our first time visiting Minneapolis. We were tired and it was cold with a steady strong rain. We are grateful to have found your facility!!. We have no disputes with Uhau at this time.

Well laid out, clean, secure. The indoor bays for loading and unloading are great if there is any bad weather. Carts and dollies are available to assist in moving items in and out.

Directions should have been given in steps but were given in a quick paragraph that made little sesnse until he walked us through it. Then we were given a dirty unit on the third floor that said it was customer ready. The then gave us a larger unit with a small access door. Yuck.

It wasn't clear which door to gain entry with my code, there was no lock in my unit so I had to go back in and get one. I was supposed to have a free month since I rented a vehicle, but I was charged full price anyways.

I was constantly being charged with overdue fees and had zero flexibility from U Haul with these billing mixups. The staff were friendly and kind but U Haul's company policies prevented them from fixing stupid issues. To top it off I was told I HAD to purchase the lock that UHaul provided instead of being allowed to return it when I was done with the unit. A lock with a Uhaul brand name on it and customized for the specific storage locker I used. What am I going to do with that!? I couldn't be done with them fast enough and would strongly strongly discourage anyone from ever renting from Uhaul.

When I first arrived in the morning to check for a reserved storage I did online the staff was kind to show me where everything is and gave a presentation at the desk of the 10x10x10 storage I rented. Fortunately, everything fits inside perfectly even though I had lingering doubts when I imagined there might not be enough room judging by the size of the unit, but I made a good choice and it all worked out.

I used this facility when I moved up here from out of state. I would highly recommend this UHaul facility to anyone. Very easy to use and convenient. Less costly than some others. desk staff were difficult to understand and did not explain lease trrms vlearly -- tpld us it would all be clear when we read lease on electronic board and read printed pages if same. But print font was soooo tiny it really was not possible to read words on papers. u- haul really needs better presentation of its customer lease agreement. in several instances your lease omits major sections of Minnesota's Self Torage statute provisions -- like notice that certain ' exempt" personal property I s always accessable and removable from rental unit- clotjing, yools of trade, personal papers ,& records and other items ennumerated in the statute. Other tenant rights are also omitted from explicit inclusion in lease. While U Haul staff are friendky and helpful, the basic tenant- landlord relationship is not well presented in the current composition of the lease.

Bloomington U-haul charged crazy fees because they had us on automatic billing, something messed up with their payment system. I called multiples times to get a manager.. I even called corporate, and no one could seem to help me remove the fees from their mess up!? Needless to say, I am glad to be done with this u-haul… and their security systems are always messed up!!!!! We would check in and it would still trigger the alarm. Even their employees would say "oh, it's been happening a lot"… this is a brand new facility. Awful experience.

This is my 3rd time renting a vehicle from the Lyndale location in the past 2 years. I also rented 4 times from the Nicollet Avenue location in Minneapolis during the same timeframe. I was a short term rental landlord that is selling properties that have been fully furnished. I have sold lots, moved lots to a garage and now rented a storage unit from you. It was good timing. Thanks for the good deal.

I arrived and was greeted warmly, and when I said I had a reservation he immediately said "Are you Michael?," and when I said yes he he asked me how my day was going. I was very impressed with his professionalism and his personable manner. He made sure I understood the difference between a utility and appliance dolly citing sometimes that people confuse the two. The vehicle was clean and ran well. This was totally a great experience thank you.
