More staff that is helpful, don't charge for gas that was replaced, find a different place in the truck to bolt down the dolly

I received a "dunn" notice from uhaul wondering when I would return my 4x8 trailer. It was due TODAY, 03JUN25 at 9:31AM. I returned this trailer YESTERDAY 02JUN25 between noon and 1PM. The lady told me to park it in the "far left" corner. I unhooked it myself. . drove back to the office. The same lady come out and told me that I was good to go and that I would receive a receipt in my email. FIRST AND LAST TIME I will leave a UHaul without a PRINTED return receipt. I had BETTER NOT be charged with a late return. SO DISAPPOINTED! In fairness, I did not go inside the facility so I don't know if it was "clean and inviting". The lady come out when I arrived and when I left.
SUSAN EThis would be the ONLY uhaul I will EVER go too! Amber and Randy were the BEST!!! After my while nightmare with two other locations in Colorado Springs, Amber helped me out the most! Highly recommend only talking to her as the boys CLEARLY don't know what they're doing. Other location rented me a tow dolly to tow my AWD SUV. Ended up driving 2 hrs in the woods to tow my car to find out I cant use that dolly without disconnecting the Drive shaft. Of course the two other locations failed to say anything KNOWING the car i had. Well come to find out the boys didn't LISTEN to me and put my AWD SUV down as a rear wheel. I feel they were just trying to push me out and make money. So dishonest! Trust me! Go to ONLY this location and see Amber. She'll set you up correctly!!!!!
AMANDA SSeems like the one guy in there could have used a friend, people checking in and out at the same time and he made some mistakes that could have been avoided if he had a friend.
BRITTANY DSeemed very understaffed for thei volume of customers and was a lot more DIY for customers. Facility was great for space, restrooms, dumpster, lobby, etc just not helpful, nor organized so not fast nor efficient but all the staff was kind.

ERIC SWe were to pick up in Lakewood but was changed. Pickup location moved which was an inconvenience. When we returned to Wisconsin our drop off location was moved to 1 1/2 hours away from our home address. Our drop off location originally was approximately 15 minutes from us.We had to call and check for closer drop off by day. U-Haul rental was not a pleasant experience. I would recommend going with a different company.
JODI FThis was not the location I initially chose for pick, it was 30-40 minutes away. That was frustrating for me. However, this location had very nice employees, who were efficient and helpful.

ADAM BHow do u advertise $29,95 for a rental truck for a day and then charge for every mile on top of that. I'll rent from Home Depot or somewhere who is up front with there pricing next time. Just seems shady to me.

Michael MShari D. at the Coal Mine location, was truly outstanding! Even though she was by herself, and the shop was busy, she remained calm, efficient and professional. She took care of the paperwork, directed us to the "free box bin", (which we needed) and then went out back and got us ready for the road like a NASCAR pit crew chief... HOLY COW, She's good!
FRANK SYou need to get hitch installers that can actually put the car's body panels back together as they were! The driver side fender trim popped out by the time I got home - 2 of the retainer clips where broken. I had to go to my local body shop to install a new trim and fasteners - cost $90. Also, half of the screws that hold the wheel well liners were stripped. The passenger side liner was not secured by 2 of the screws and both of them were stripped, which made unscrewing them to fix the liner very difficult. I was only able to unscrew 1 of them and attach the liner. The other screw wouldn't budge, so I just rested the liner on top. Also, one of the screws on the driver side that holds the liner was only half way screwed in and it was stripped, thus not holding the liner completely in place. Good thing I had some spare screws to replace the stripped ones. Absolute amateur job. I'll never do business with U-Haul based on this negative experience. If you can't promise to deliver the car in its original state after installing a hitch, don't offer this service and just stick to renting out trucks!
Ian PThe truck we got for a cross country trip had 140000 miles on it. It ran well but was noisy. Still, the checkout experience was good and the truck made it to our destination.
RICHARD PThe woman was extremely rude to me. I returned the trailer a day early and she said I would only get charged for one day, but I was charged for two.
JACOB PI reserved the trailer at another location. This one was 30 minutes in the wrong direction and made me late.

HAROLD MThe woman who checked us in was not friendly! I had to ask her if we would get a receipt showing we returned the trailer. She seemed to be irritated doing her job. The location is a great place to rent. Customer service not so much!
JEFFREY AGreat experience from start to finish! This location Littleton (on Coal Mine) had the trailer I needed and was the perfect size, good condition and return process was quick with no problems. The service person who helped in the rental process was professional, quick and great attitude for the customer. I would highly recommend this location of U-Haul - hands down!

JODY OFriendly and helpful staff who maintained their cool and helpful attitude even through it's understaffed. Not their fault. Fully stocked showroom with every possible moving and storage need. Excellent inventory of U-Haul vehicles and trailers. Past 3 times I've rented a cargo van from this location it was relatively new or brand new, clean, and in excellent working order.

Bill NI was highly disappointed with the fact that the truck was not ready to go when I got there after renting it a week in advance. It took an hour to check in. The staff was very nice but paying for an hour that I didn't get to use it is a little crazy to me.
KALEIGH WThe location had my rental there, no hassles. The facility is clean, well organized and has lot of supplies ready to go. This staff is very nice, helpful, know what they are doing, and fast to process my rental and get me on my way.
JOHN JMy work trailer was stolen, and until I get a replacement, it has been so easy and cost effective to rent one from this location!

NILE WAuto transport was definitely not well maintained, we let the person know it had problems we could notice before we left, all she said was.. okay bye... and guess what happened..the wheel bearing/hub failed, then launched the wheel and hub off the trailer and set 10 fires on the highway... luckily the the uhaul roadside assistance was very helpful, and got us another trailer in about 3 hours. So I will definitely not be using uhaul again or atleast not this location!

William FUpon return it took a long time. I heard a employee in the other room on his mobile phone. You can hear the conversation and it was a personal call and he knew I was waiting. He did not acknowledge me. I guess his personal call was more important. Another employee saw me and she helped with the check in. I was standing around for 15-20 minutes.

DAVID CWhen you open in the AM, make sure that there is someone at the counter to greet the clients. I waited over 15 minutes to be greeted-I could hear the two of you talking, but I had no idea where you two were.
