Terri MRavi the Store Manager was very helpful and prompt whenever anything was needed. I would say $180+ per month or $2,200+ annually is pretty expensive. You should offer leases of designated time periods where the total price declines versus your stated average length or rental.

James KTrailer was not ready at appointment time. Had to wait for a taillight to be fixed for over an hour. Location was extremely understaffed. Gentleman who waited on us was very nice, but very overworked. Trailer was not available in my local town and had to drive 70+ miles to pick up (better distribution of products needs to occur). Time lost and gas used was an extreme inconvenience as well as a cost that I had to incur without regard from your company.

JOY BA good experience overall. New model 5 x 8 trailer, now has fold down door that becomes ramp, useful for us. Location has few employees, but we were there at good time, early on a Saturday. They do assume you have a smart phone with email capability for both the rental and after hours return, but were willing to do it on paper for me. I'm old fashioned and don't believe I should need to own a $1000 phone in order to rent a trailer. Borrowed a phone for the return, but it didn't work because uhaul already had my land line listed on the contract.

Stefann — at Drop-off was great, too!! The “See Manual” light was a bummer and set us back an hour or so, while we waited for Roadside Assistance from Fast Fleet. Mark of Fast Fleet was great!! And, was willing to go above the call of duty, by following us!!

KATHRYN KThe location was clean and the service from the owner was great. However, while the truck was clean and operational for a while the engine light along with other transmission messages on the dash came on not even half-way to my destination. Given that, I have rated the equipment as NOT well maintained. After hours of waiting for Roadside Assistance to respond and assess the issue, it was determined that the transmission lost connection with the power module. At least that is what I understood from what was communicated to me. That turned into even more hours of waiting to see how U-Haul was going to address the problem. Ultimately, a tow service towed the U-haul truck to my destination and another tow service picked up the truck the next day after. This entire situation created delays and rescheduling of my family's whole weekend. I really would appreciate some sort of compensation for all of the inconveniences. NOTE: Once the engine light came on, I made it to another U-Haul location. From there I contacted Roadside assistance. No one from that location tried to assist.

NANCY BAs a disabled former government service veteran, I was extremely disappointed to find my last two days billed at an exorbitant rate due to my physical condition limiting my ability to return the truck as anticipated. I was basically over billed for being disabled. According to the Americans with Disabilities Act, it was also against federal law. I have spent over 20 000 with Uhaul in the past few years with satisfaction. This time I was taken advantage of, period. I'm very disappointed. Thanks, THJONES

The only issue I had, which is pretty major, is that there is so little parking anywhere at the facility that it becomes a major inconvenience to load and unload items. I've never seen a U-Haul lot that is so full with rental vehicles that some of those vehicles are also parked in customer spots. I'd recommend this facility to another person with that major caveat.

Then, I think it is client manipulation to keep raising the fees significantly every 6 months. I would strongly caution anyone I knew that this is the way it works.

Other than those 3 or 4 times over almost two months our experience met our expectations and the managers were both very hard working and willing to be available.
Jesse M | Expérience généraleI doubt I'd ever use this particular U-haul (Annex Ave Nashville) again. My reason is the ramp that goes up to the 3rd floor is dangerously steep. Getting a cart (even empty) up there is hard enough but coming down is difficult and scary. I had to hire someone to help me when I could have done it myself. I'm surprised there is no warning/ caution sign. If I had tried to come down with a full (or even half full) cart, I have no doubt that I would've been run over and seriously hurt. I see it as a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Laura S | Expérience généraleDidn't know the security code had to be entered on side of the bldg FIRST. That needs to be listed clearly in the process/directions. Sent significant other to drop off some things to storage & the door code "wouldn't work". Keep in mind this is the first time either of us has tried to access the unit. He went inside and spoke to RAVI to get assistance with the security code not working to open the outer door: Ravi, he is the WORST PERSON EVER. Instead of listening to my boyfriend's situation and understanding that he needed to "check-in" to the storage via the keypad on the outside wall, I ended up having to drive down to the facility, a 20 min drive that I didn't have time to make, to "Add" my boyfriend as a contact, authorized user or some crap. While I was there OBVIOUSLY upset, a younger guy listens to the situation and was like "did you check in?" In 30 seconds the younger guy listened and understood what that jerk Ravi couldn't comprehend and took us through horribly unnecessary stress.

patrick m | Expérience générale2 hours at this location after being gave 3 different instructions and numerous calls to u-haul only to be sent to another location. 1) order over phone told main floor. 2) got there to be told nothing available on main floor. 3) watched young teen sit on phone while manager did everything including make me wait after having my info as he waited on other customers. 4) finally sent teen to look at possible units who got lost. 5) manager finally tells me to call u-haul and ask for help. 6) u-haul tells me to reserve online. 7) ordered online and was gave a 2nd floor unit. 8) told them that would not work washer, dryer, deep freeze etc. Large heavy items can't go up and down stairs. 9) manager advises found 1st floor unit wants u-haul to change one assigned to said unit. 10) they advise the manager would have to. 11) manager has to call u-haul because it wouldn't let him. 12) unit already reserved but not showing as such in system. 13) back to square 1. 14) lady on phone finds 2 smaller units at another u-haul location 30 minutes across town (note: now in rush hour traffic and an hour away from my home. 15) go anyway to find a lobby full of people waiting to be serviced. Mind you this is after loading and pulling 2 u-haul trailers from Lebanon MO. I could go on and on about the horrible service and the left hand not knowing what the right hand was doing.

I wouldn't entrust my belongings to such a shoddy building. We didn't move in, cancelled our reservation and went elsewhere into an actual solid, brick and mortar building.

They were aware because there were dozens of moving blankets in the corridors and entrance to soak up the water. I worry about units next to mine that we're hit even worse with the flood waters. I now have a uhaul truck stinkinking of mildew and soaked belongings that I am getting to dryer environs where I will have the opportunity to assess the damage. Please let other unit renters know before they suffer 100percent loss!! I was given the insurance number to call and will do so after truck is unloaded and soaked items unpacked so I can assess the condition of belongings. In the mean time the rugs are hanging on makeshift clothes lines in the truck so a little air can circulate. Helen K Campbell. 970-531-2038

I had a horrible, train wreck of a move and needed a truck and storage unit at the last minute to get our final belongings out of the property and stored while we are able to move into our new home. So glad this facility was open until 7pm and able to take care of our needs at that stressful moment in time! Better yet, extending the truck rental period was as easy as going online and getting it done chatting with an agent.

The Uhaul self checkin feature online completely screwed up my order and also assigned us to the wrong unit. I would have taken the free month if the place was setup for storage. I don't want to ask someone to move a truck every time I go there. Your facility is mostly used to receive rental returns and I didn't want to compete with that traffic while my things are in storage.

The lady who finally helped us--and I don't know her name but it started with a J? --well she was GREAT. I want to make sure to pass on kudos where they're due. I"m sorry I don't know her name but I think she was the only woman on staff when we were there, Friday 5/15 at 5pm. I appreciate her help a LOT. But I will tell you about my experience here. 10 years ago I did research on self-storage facilities in Nashville. Even though this one is relatively far for us, I decided to go with it because of its ratings. Well, 10 years later, the place still have good ratings, and the storage fracility is as clean as the day we moved in! It is well managed, very convenient. I especiallty like the electronic access cards. We can go in and out with ease. All in all, I recommend this storage. If we weren't moving away, we would continue here!
