Very frustrated to say the least. You have serious issues with this u computer system. I made the reservation and your people couldn't find my name.

SANI AMy experience af this location was extremely disappointing. I explained that the pickup location (unattended) failed to inform me that I'd need to return to this location by 12:30 on day of drop off. I then stopped by this location personally on drop off morning bc the phone was not being answered. There was only one gentleman working and he was too busy to assist me with a line waiting. I then passed that 12:30 drop off time by just a hair. I immediately received a phone call informing me that I'd be charged an entire additional day. All the while, the truck was 5 mins away in driveway not being used. I told them I'd be right there. The girl at the desk upon drop off was extremely rude from the time I walked inside. Ultimately it feels like a money grab for this location to bill me for an added day in this scenario. This is due lack of help and information I received and the way I was treated here. I will not be using Uhaul nor this location for any moving needs in the future.

JASON GNice facility, but did not appreciate the bait and switch after booking a 10x10 online at one price, and being told upon arrival that the unit we reserved was not available and that we could only have two 5x10's or another 10x10 for $5 more a month. Management apparently knows that there is a glitch in the online reservation system, and takes no responsibility for the issue. This should be addressed. I recommend calling to verify that you're actually getting what you reserve before driving up there.

Darron H | Premières impressionsThe equipment appeared to be in good condition, but about 10 miles into my trip, I kept getting messages on my dash that the trailer was disconnected. I stopped multiple times but could not get the lights working (which was a major issue since I was driving at night). I got to my final location and noticed that one of the wires in the wiring harness was frayed and almost cut in half. I would have thought that things like this would be inspected prior to rentals as this could have caused a serious problem.

He rented a lg truck in NC & our plan was to put the items from our rental trailer into his rented truck & drop off the trailer there in Lake Wylie. After arriving, we realized the items we had would not fit in the truck with his items that he had loaded. I called to change my destination drop off of the trailer (which I had for another 24 hours) & was told that I would be charged rent times 2 for this change! So UHaul charged me more money for something that I already paid for. I can understand the charge if I did not notify them of the change or didn't return it in time, but I did! To avoid the double charge, we returned trailer in Lake Wylie & rented it again for Florence. STILL HAD TO PAY TOO MUCH FOR THIS. I've been a long time customer & am not happy now.

DAVID TThe transporter looked well maintained, however I did have a problem with the straps coming loose and twice they came off. I started checking those straps every 50 to 75 miles to tighten them up.(Thankfully I did have extra tie downs attached to the car) I did report it to the maintenance people at the turn in point in Indianapolis
RAYMOND VMike and his entire staff were wonderful. From the initial rental until the day I moved out I was always greeted when encountering an associate and made to feel welcome. The facility was impeccably clean, restrooms included and very secure feeling. If you need temporary or even long term storage space I would highly recommend this facility.

Mike was so friendly, accommodating, customer focused and clearly proud of his facility. With move in promotion cost is on par or better than other places I looked but even without the promotion this is the place to be IMO if you want clean and well run storage.

Monica H | Expérience généraleI am in the middle of a big out of state move and have my personal belongings in multiple different storage facilities, this one in particular is by far superior. Although my unit was on the second floor it couldn't have been easier to load and unload my things with the abundance of carts and oversized elevator as well as the garage that you can pull right into. At the other facilities I currently have my belongings in, one of them has a step up to get in and out of the building making using carts (if you can find one) as well as moving furniture in and out impossible. The other location has 3 carts for the whole location, which means waiting your turn for a cart or hunting through all their building hoping to find one. I have been dealing with Uhaul of Lake Wylie for 3 years now and Lydia and Mike go above and beyond for their customers! Can't thank them enough for all of their help!

sherry j | Déménagement en ligneIf a person runs an hour or two past return time not be charged a whole day rate, because in some cases a person may have had a horrible moving experience with no help at all and then it takes him a longer te to pick up and load their stuff therefore going past the return time and then on top of his bad move have to pay more money because of other people not coming thru to help. It would just be some relief knowing that a person can catch a break when ya think the whole world is against you
