I do have one thing that disappointed me about my experience. I called your location at 2055 FL HWY 436, WINTER PARK, FL. My specific question was that there may be a need to extend our rental. This location told me no problem extending. Just call the location and inform the staff member. I finally ended up renting from the location 650 N Ronald Reagan Blvd, Longwood, FL. I called a day before on Friday, a day before my scheduled return date to extend my rental through the weekend. The rep at the Longwood location said no can do. I had to wrestle with him on the phone for a bit before he conceded. So my question to U-Haul is does each location make their own rules? It was frustrating to say the least.

The gentleman who helped us, whose name I cannot remember, was fantastic. He detailed everything for us, he showed us the exact unit and how to get in and out of it. He was just over and above what he had to do.

Everyone at the U-haul location in longwood(650 Ronald Reagan blvd) is absolutely out standing! The young lady there has fantastic customer service. Got me setup to move in and did everything she could to make things easy and smooth. She went above and beyond to keep all customers happy, all while still handling multi customers and taking care of the facilities. We ran into some issues getting setup(nothing she could have predicted). How ever she got assistance in to fixing the matter promptly. She reached out to her manager windall who was able to advise her and get things worked out. Clearly due to his high standards of service, this is why everyone around him is also A1! Great management skills! Though it took some time they all were very patient and persistent and were able to get everything resolved. Jeff is another employee at the location who helped in taking care of me. Just all around everyone I dealt with were fantastic. I've had units here previously with other employees and always have a satisfactory experience and this has been no different. I'll always continue to give my business to u haul and especially the longwood/altomonte springs location windall manages!

My sister passed & I had to move some of her things. The grieving process is difficult but this U-Haul experience helped everything run smoothly. Wendall the manager made sure I received a quick & easy to understand answer to my questions about my rental. He assured me the free month of storage would be free when I vacated the unit after 6 days. Leanne & Logan got me in & out quickly & easily. This team made things work as well as possible. I couldn't ask for anything more. Dirong this trying time this experience at U-Haul was better than I could have imagined.

I was stressing because my sister died & I had to move her things in a hurry. The Leann, employee who helped me pick up the truck was so very helpful & let me know ow I was eligible to receive a storage unit for free for 30 days. I said thanks but I wouldn't need it. The move became more complicated & I did actually need the unit. Thanks Leanne Then the move ran late & I returned to U-Haul at 5:28pm. I called Logan 3 times asking if he could stay to give me a storage unit & let me in the gate. Logan was an angel. He not only let me in he stayed to make sure I got a lock, knew how to use it, knew where to leave the truck..., He went above & beyond to make sure everything went well. The people at the 650 S Reagan U-haul are the best. I picked the U-haul location closest to my home. I'm glad they are so convenient.

The lock on E28 is rusty and broken and hard to move. A new latch needs to be placed on there immediately. I'm concerned about the security of my things.

Staff was friendly and helpful but not an ideal location due to proximity of storage buildings. It's a tight area. Trailers are kept in the back forcing a renter to drive through gates to pick up. I have an F150 which is a small truck. I can see where someone else might have a problem with a 250 or a 350. Just not great parking area.

WAS OVER CHARGED.. with storage room... was charged monthly fee of $212 plus.. when on sign in office the rates are 160--179... also.. some of my items are missing and items were chewed by mice or rats... very upset.. not only was I overcharged.. with the monthly rates some of my items were missing.. my lock was face down when i last left there and than the lock was faced up...someone was in my locker and items are missing... I want to be compensated... thankyou ...

My stuff was in storage for 6 months, there was no food or anything of the sort in my unit, yet all of my stuff was covered in rat / mouse poop and pea. I had to clean everything I had in storage from top to bottom before I could even bring it inside where my kids were.

My disappointment was with U-Haul, not this particular location. The location did not have the equipment we needed, but the reservation said they did. This required that we had to search for it elsewhere and had to go to a Home Depot some distance away to pick-up and return. Had we not been able to do so, the entire reservation would have been a total waste of time and money. I would caution any friend about such poor operations.

There were routinely issues with accessing the building during gate hours, i.e. exterior doors locked availability & attitude of attendant to unlock the building. The building had Rats that ate into boxes, nested, left feces, destroyed items.

I do have a couple of concerns, I didn't authorize 2 charges, $22 and $5. Also the fact that I was forced to drive an extra 20 plus miles to pick up and return the van when you're charging me for the mileage, I reserved the van closest to where I was working so I didn't have the extra mileage.

The interior of the truck was clean but the outside could have used a washing. We rented the local area van. I understand these trucks are on the move a lot! Otherwise everything went well.

I had a 10 x 10 double door unit for over 7 years with no problems. Used there trucks on occasion. Units are very easily accessible. Staff at this location was well informed and helpful over the years,when needed. I would recommend to others. John M.

Gate hit 2 of my trucks and left unrecoverable marks, rats ate everything and left droppings all over the place and on everything. This place is horrible! Never recommended to anyone.

I was not that happy when I got the rental truck.

Horrible check in process. Waited in my car wasting gas for 15 minutes waiting in "approval" for check in before I decided to walk on. Man inside was very nice. Afterwards, almost done with check in and app closed me out so I had to search for key lock box with no instructions on where or what to do with the key. I locked the truck and dropped the key in lock box

The staff greeted upon arrival to the store. He was professional and had a willing to help attitude. All my question where answered accurately and respectfully. I was able to make a decision that was best for my current situation due to the information I received. I will continue to use U-Haul for all my moving and or storage needs. This facility is ok. The staff fine, but the units are infested with rats. I just moved out and found many boxes chewed through with rodent droppings everywhere. I cannot recommend anyone else store their items at this facility. When I had moved in a fire had destroyed multiple units. It's too old and unsafe for your belongings.

My storage was infested with rat feces and apparently I wasn't the only one. Across from me the tenant also had the same situation. Showed me a picture of a rat hanging from the door once he placed glue traps. Nasty. I lost all of my belongings and the insurance Repwest was not reliable. They offered a very minor amount. U-haul didn't even give me an extension for me to be able to move everything out. They said they couldn't give me 2exrra days. Worse place ever.

I won't waste my time with this but I wouldn't recommend this place to care for my belongings or anything else.Worst choice. For storage I have made.The Longwood property allowed someone who was not approved to change my account access code and lock without anybody contacting me first.This caused me to loose right around $500 dollars in tools as she and her husband stole my stuff without having any permission from me to take them.

Ben at the front desk was awesome getting our reservation back. He was extremely helpful. I dropped off truck around 7:30pm. We decided to drop it off early and maybe rent another truck next week. We only did one trip maybe 15 miles at the most. We did one trip from Woodlands in Longwood to Sun Lake apartments in Lake Mary. I tried to fill up some gas but gas cap was broken. I parked the truck in the front and left the keys in the box.

My U-Haul experience was the worst moving experience I have ever had. I was routed to this U-Haul store after my original rental was unable to be picked up due to lack of keys. I also was sent and had to drive halfway there to another facility before they directed me to this one. This took several hours for all of this to be completed. When they finally found me this truck, they gave me a 26 foot truck that was horrible to drive

While the employees were helpful and tried their best, they unit we reserved wasn't available. Everything about our experience with U-HAUL has been a "bait and switch" experience. Including the truck pick up, where we had to drive an hour both ways to pick it up, to the car trailer, where the trailer was defective so we had to get an entirely different trailer, to the storage unit, where they only had smaller unit that originally reserved. The storage unit issue now also has caused us to have to use two separate facilities

When I first got there, the guys at the front didn't care and gave off that attitude. I had my unit for a week. I called the location to check their hours and the message said 7pm. I rented a truck from another location because the guy told me my storage didn't have the small truck I needed. I got to my unit and they had closed at 4. I called uhaul to ask if I can keep the truck till Sunday. The girl told me I have ti return the truck by 10am. I said "it's Sunday, what time do they open" she said all uhaul storage opens at 9am. I got there at 8:50 and they didn't open till 10. So I called back, got the truck extended to a 24 hour truck, and sat in the parking lot till 10. A UHAUL EMPLOYEE DIDNT EVEN SHOW UP UNTIL 10:30 to open the AC units. Moving is stressful enough. I spent more money on the truck I was planning on and I wasted so much time moving. I wanted to speak to someone in management and it took two weeks for them to contact me. This was after I had called back a week later saying nobody contacted me. This was more than just the stores fault. Your phones give the wrong times. Your employees at the call center give wrong times. You employees cant open the units on time. And management isn't responsive. But you know what, thanks for my $25 uhaul credit I got for the worst moving experience of my lift. Appreciate you, uhaul.

Loved the staff! The lock handles were always rusty and hard to move. Was reported, but still rusty and hard to move.. All of my belongings were lost in a recent fire. I am still getting notifications for payment (a late payment notice came yesterday in the mail, although I have been told by phone, email, and in person I don't need to pay due to ongoing fire investigation. Thank you! I hope fire investigation is going OK.

My experience was fantastic.Sheila was able to update my reservation to let me drop our one-way rental trailer at that facility rather than one across town. After two days of driving cross country with 5 kids saving any amount of time was a massive relief. She was also great in helping us get the storage unit set-up and the trailer off the car.

It was convenient to locate and reserve online. Check in was fast and instructions clear. Facility was clean. The only disappointment was that there was very limited space to drive in off of Ronald Reagan making it a bit uncomfortable for more than two or three customers to safely park and enter and exit.
