I was with U-Haul storage in Rockford, IL for 11 years. It was an excellent experience. The staff was so helpful, especially this last week as I was making arrangements to move out of state. Justin, the manager, took care of so many details for me and made the process go so smoothly Thank you

Employees were super nice, vehicle worked great. Honestly, such an easy, great experience in the middle of moving.

Counter staff was lacking on customer service. Left with the vehicle and immediately returned do to problems with tow / haul mode. Asked for help and got yelled at. Had to figure problem out by myself. Vehicle though clean inside reaked of smoked marijuana and bo. Vehicle ramp was very difficult to use as it had not been oiled or serviced in some time. Overall not a great rental experience.

I reserved the equipment online at a different location. I received a call that the equipment was not available at that location and that I would need to go to a different location. During that call asked if the new location would be open on the Sunday morning I was supposed to pick up the rental and was told yes. However, my reservation was for 8AM and the location opened at 9AM. It seems that if equipment is not available at a certain location, you should not be able to make the reservation, and if the reserved time does not fall within the hours of operation of the facility there should be some notification. Said they could not install wires, did not know how to do it. . I looked on your YouTube channel and it shows how to do it!!!!! I am having your competition install wires. I am not happy with your service!!

Truck rental went great. The parking lot is and has always been a disaster. I'm surprised people don't run into each other. Cashiers/service member were great.

I rented a truck, when I left it had 3/4 of a tank of gas, I didn't realize I needed to let the lady know that, just thought I had to bring it back with the same amount of gas in it. I drove the truck for 3 miles total, and returned it within an hour. Was told they would email me a receipt and I got charged $32 for gas, went back to the store to find out why and was told I should have let her know it wasn't full of gas and I would have to talk to her manager who wasn't there, I showed her a picture I took before I left the parking lot of the gas gauge and told her I drove 3 miles there was no way I could go through 1/4 tank of gas driving only 3 miles but she refused to help me. I will never go to this U-Haul again

Everything went well over all experience… only one minor issue uploading photos for mileage & gas, pictures of trucks condition (( for damage already done) issue resolved through email with customer service. 100 % satisfied

I speak English why would you send me a survey in Spanish. Everything about that place was horrible. They gave me the dirtiest truck. Customer service was so poor she did not she do not value her customers . I would never recommend anyone to go with that particular U-Haul my name is Vanessa Smith my number is 414-610-1195. Call me I'll tell you how horrible it really was thank you so much.

The vehicle I rented needed to have the tires checked because the looked low. So I was handed a gauge and had to check them myself. All four tires needed air so then they handed me the air pump and I had to do everything myself. Then the air battery pump died and it turned into my problem. That's not good customer service.

The pick up truck that we rented was full of snow in the truck bad that was frozen. We were moving a bedroom set, and this was extremely upsetting, because we didn't want it to be ruined. The employees said there was no way for them to remove the frozen snow. The inside of the truck was even worse, because it was filthy with stains and covered in animal hair of some sort… Likely a dog. I will be contacting management to get a full refund. I have taken photos as proof of the condition of the truck. We tried to get help from the employees on the condition of the vehicle, but they said there was really nothing they could do and there were no other vehicles. They said they could let us use.

I do not appreciate being told multiple versions of the cost for the rental. I received one quote online when I first set up the rental, another when I arrived at the location, another when I checked out on the app, and a completely different charge with my bank. This is very unprofessional.

After I called to come back for my drivers license, someone threw it out and I never recovered my license. Someone did confirm that it would be there upon my arrival, it was thrown out. Not only that, I reserved much larger storage unit and someone still gave my reservation away. No compensation or change was made despite me being a long time customer AND a U.S. Retired Veteran. Overall dissatisfied. One of the most poorly managed U-Haul locations I've been to.

I was told there were no dollies available at this location because they all went to Hurricane relief. Your online program should notify the user of this so we can make plans elsewhere for dollies.The guy took care of us and had the trailer ready and helped with attaching. That was nice.

I was very frustrated and upset I asked one of the employees if I could store my freezer chest inside the locked doors temporarily until the next day after we rented 2 lockers and the manager had my freezer chest thrown away and I had personal items in my freezer chest

I use the U-Haul on forest hills In Rockford Illinois very often and I find all of the staff members very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very helpful,

I liked the general manager, I do think he did the best he could with the staff.The unit was safe and secure. A few times I was in there I heard casual swearing by the younger members of the staff, which with a young child in tow isn't the best environment, The interior climate controlled unit was only accessible during the office hours, but it's advertised as 24 hour access. There needs to be a door installed to allow the next person to access the unit or be billed accordingly. Also, there was a lock on the unit door handle to which no one had a key. This wasn't the padlock, this is the door handle lock. When the lock was accidentally triggered during unloading, I had to pay for a locksmith to open the unit because I was told it would take U-haul up to 3 months to get it opened due to red tape or I could just pay for it. Justin did help lower the cost of the rental truck to clean out the unit, so I do appreciate that. Overall, the experience will not excite me to rent with Uhaul again. I have a unit with one of your competitors and will likely stay with them in the future.

The move-in staff in the morning was very accommodating and wonderful and very much helpful. In the afternoon it became more of an issue when I had a few questions for the afternoon crew and really didn't get any answers. I was disappointed also that there is only one reserve unit for us even though I had reserved three, but I am thrilled when I do have his climate controlled.

Bunch of kids running a s**t show. Restrooms are filthy, facility is grossly under maintained, yet fees increase regularly. Should replace hand towels as often as increasing rent. Not gonna miss anything, will do my best to spread the word.

The majority of our belongings were ruined because of mice feces and mice urine. Disgusting and will never use Uhaul again.

The storage space was rather expensive. The best thing about it was it's on the first floor and by the door in the back of the building. However, you can only access the storage coming through the front door and walking to the back. The hours are not good either since they close early evening.

I’ve come back to this uhaul over & over for years.This time they charged me 20 for gas &I only drove about 5-8 mls. ( just in loves park)the line was under full when i got it & still was charged!

Of all my experiences with Uhaul over my U-Box process, the Uhaul of Loves Park was the only place that was helpful and went above and beyond.
