The mileage was wrong by 4 miles called to confirm due to truck was being used on the yard cleaning up transport converter being put away. Took pictures of the error on my miles and was not taken away from original miles.

WILLIAM AThe rates are high. In these harder economic times, it would be wonderful if I could rent a u-haul 20-foot box truck for under $188 per day. I have been a customer for about 4 years at this location and another 2-3 years At the Eagle's Landing location where are also rented a storage unit.
SUSAN AI waited almost 2 hours for my reserved trailer just to find out it wasn't available! I had to end up getting a smaller trailer which caused me to make 2 trips ! I was delayed for my Event due to this issue!
VERLLA JAllow one-way trips with trailers you actually have available. That's the whole point of your company. Failing that, clearly label which trailers are round trip only. You wasted an entire day or my time making me drive the entire trip again to bring the trailer back. If I'd known I could have rented it at the very start, cutting travel in half. I'd have happily paid triple to avoid this, but there were no one-way options for open top trailers at all. Staff was friendly and helpful, but clearly overworked and in need of support. It took nearly an hour just to be able to talk to someone. The price was cheap, but the service was nearly worthless so it had better be.

DEAN VI had scheduled a 12' box trailer to pickup @ 5:00 pm. When I got there at 5:00 pm, I was informed that the trailer that I had reserved was not there. U-Haul wanted to send me to another location, didnt know where, to pickup a 12' trailer from somewhere else. I didn't have time for that so I asked for a truck. At 5:15 pm, just after signing the paper work for the truck, my 12' trailer shows up. I don't have time to switch, I'm on a schedule. They turn the truck over to me and I leave. The paper work said that I had over a 1/4 tank of gas, however the gage was right on 1/4. I drove for 33 miles and returned when I had put 8 gallons of gas back into the truck to get the gage where U-Haul said it was supposed to be. With Gas this ended up costing me $50 more than the 12' trailer would have and it wasn't my fault. I'll find somewhere else to rent if I ever need to rent a trailer or truck again. What could you do to improve? Refund me some money even though you gave me a $12 discount, it still cost me more, $50 more. But i know I won't get a penny back from U-Haul.

This was very inconvenient and resulted in my wife and I loading the equipment ourselves then driving overnight to make it to our destination on time.

Instead of giving me a call they decided to lock me out of my storage and put a note on there for nonpayment. This caused me a huge inconvenience and loss of money because I arrived at my storage unit with my mover help, being that I am a female and needed some assistance, I could not get into my storage unit. I asked to speak to a manager, and I know the manager is a female at this particular location, and the male that was working on that Sunday told me he was the manager. He said that he would discount my mileage rate because of the illegal lockout, but he did not. He was sarcastic and he was not very friendly.

ANTHONY FHonestly, I can not recommend this location enough! I had the pleasure of getting Austin P. for my rental pick-up. I was renting a 6x12 trailer and he got it all hooked up for me. We realized that the right side blinker was not working on the trailer so he moved me to another trailer. When that one had the same issue he grabbed all the things ready to troubleshoot any possible problem. He got a new adapter for my Tahoe, when that wasn't it he went to the next thing. Then he decided to test a specific fuse in the Tahoe and found the culprit and replaced it for me! He went above and beyond to get me on the road! Not to mention he was very kind and not once showed anything other than a mood that stated he was happy to help. Austin is literally the best! This location is also super clean, lots of room for moving around in the parking lot and hands down the nicest U-Haul location I have ever been to!

SAVINA FI picked up the U-Haul with 109 miles left of gas. It would not let me change that when I picked up the U-Haul and then I got charged because I left it over a half a tank when you guys didn't even even give me a quarter tank of gas Burn holes in the seats dents all over the truck. They were trying to charge me with and I had to point that shit out to them because they weren't gonna mark it off on the thing they trying to stick me with bill! - worst experience ever!

When we asked the clerk for a GMC at our latest rental experience, she said no - that we have to take what the computer assigns to us. We asked her again to please let us rent the GMC and she said no and handed us the keys to the Ford. The GMC is much better on gas so thank that clerk for costing us more money. This is the only complaint I have about this location for the past 8 years.

Multiple times my battery was dead after the promise of a couple of hours of electricity every day. I had to replace two RV batteries over my time there because they didn't provide the electricity like promised to help keep my battery charged. The area where I was parked would always flood anytime it rained which limited my access to the backside of my RV. And anytime I requested contact with the manager, it was never "I'm sorry, we'll have them reach out to you." It was always the me, the customer having to try and track down the manager/owner. Just a terrible way to run a business. They take your money and don't care.

I even bought the plastic wrap inside their office and that did nothing to stop the bugs from getting to my furniture and destroying it. I spoke with several other customers and they all said the same thing about their fabric furniture being destroyed by bugs. So if the bug infestation wasnt bad enough, the store then raised the price on me and to top that off, apparently i was the only person who ever used my access key to turn off the alarm before opening my units. The alarm went off every 3-5 minutes you would visit your unit, everyday. That was extremely annoying especially since one of my units was directly in front of a loud speaker.

Drove two hours one way with help to move all stored furniture out only to find out on arrival elevator was down. Had to wind up taking everything down one flight of stairs. Difficult moving larger pieces of furniture and heavy boxed items. This was only day I would have help and a trailer, so decided to do it. It would have been helpful to schedule another day had I known about the elevator. Company should be able to email all customers above first floor about elevator being out of order then again once repaired. The rating is based solely on having to move everything downstairs by hand.

When trying to call the facility I was on hold for 15 mins & decided to just go there & try it. This was very frustrating & inconvenient. We ended up cancelling for a refund on Wednesday. We went to another storage facility & had no issues getting our items in. Uhaul needs to step it up.

Secondly, I want to communicate I've been constantly & consistently communicating with Ms.Stephanie & other staff members regarding my unit that was recently auctioned off (9.11.23). I wanted to ensure that I was in compliance with paying my balance owed before the auction. I explained in great detail that I'm on disability and had to unexpectedly put everything in 2 storage units. I never anticipated my situation to rise to this level so quickly. I wasn't able to keep my my home. However, that is why I was trying to do my due diligence and call to ensure I had accurate information regarding the units and my timeframe. I'm really not at one place right now. During our last conversation, on August 26th approximately 2:30, I was emphatically assured by Ms. Stephanie that I had until October 8th (for the first unit).I took her at her word. I accept full accountability for my failure to pay. However, you all have a responsibility to ensure staff is fully trained when disseminating such critical information. My entire life was in that storage unit. Family picture's that I'm confident the individual that purchased the unit would just trash. Those pictures are priceless. This is why I called over, and over trying to prevent what happened from happening. Thirdly, the way the entire process has been handled lacks ethics and integrity. Now for some reason I receiving a text messages regarding my second unit being set for auction. I'm extremely perplexed by this because that wasn't the case with the other unit. This is how I know based on my interactions with your staff on Sept. 11th, procedures are being handled accordingly. I honestly think you all mixed my units up with the two and possibly one in Texas. This entire situation has exacerbated my depression and chronic migraine to the point that I literally can't get out the bed or stop crying. How does one recover from this? The fact that you thought so little of my situation and didn't respond to my message is extremely disappointing, disheartening & disturbing. I'm not done trying to work through this and trying to determine Uhaul's accountability. However , it's just way too much for me to focus on until my therapy session next week. De plus,

When I arrived, the 10x15 was unavailable and the counter person said they have not been available for awhile. I was given two 10x10 units. I crammed everything in them, but it was very tight. I would have selected another facility if I had known the 10x15 was going to be unavailable at booking. Very disappointed in the whole situation, but being in a severe time crunch, somehow made it work.

The only elevator in the building broke down shortly before our mover arrived so it had to be rescheduled. This ended up costing us $250 more than we were supposed to spend. My wife bought a lock when she went to pick up 2 follies that the company did not provide in the back of the moving truck as I asked. I originally was not going to use U-Haul storage facility but I went ahead and reserved it. My wife did not know so when she came back with the truck I said I confirmed the storage and it comes with a free lock. When we tried to return the lock the young lady stated "you would have had to buy a lock anyway so you can just keep that lock. She did not want to return the lock my wife bought. So now we have an extra lock because I refuse to argue over little things like a lock. But if U-Haul employees are indicative of the company I will not be utilizing U-Haul after this and I will not encourage people to utilize the services. I have had nothing but issues from renting the truck to accessing my U-Haul. I still have to go back up to the storage facility because my code does not work after hours.

They had already taken my money but no one called or emailed me stating that the unit I booked wasn't available. When I got to the facility that's when I learned about the unit, it was after 7 pm other storages was closing had no choice but to get two more unites to hold my things. I did find issues with some of the people that work there, Moving is stressful in itself but it was made even more stressful, when I arrived on March 1st to remove my things from storage mind you I had driven all the way from Maryland. I left my storage key in Maryland, when I went to the front desk to see if they could help me by cutting the lock etc. and was told it would cost me $50 and I had to wait 5 days for them to do it, my storage needed to be out by March 3rd before payment would be due again when I stated this they didn't seem to care that it would cost me more money. Luckily my daughter who works in Buckhead had the other key for the storage, so I had to leave to get to her job to get the other key which cost me more time, I had to rent a uhaul truck to get my things to Maryland that cost over $600 one way pius gas. I was able to get the key from my daughter and get back to the storage unit and remove all of my things, I was checked out of the unit via swiping the storage card as I was advised to do by the uhaul employee, I'm thinking that everything was good and I was done with the storage part, I received a late notice on March 7th stating that I owed storage fees and a $15 late fee, I called Uhaul and spoke to someone name Mack, I explained to him about the bill i received, he had no answers and said that he needed to get his manager, so I was placed on hold, when he came back to the phone he stated his manager Summer was too busy to speak with me, but that they would look into my concerns, I have spent a lot of money with uhaul over the years and to be made to feel like my issues don't matter to them only my money was not a good feeling and if I ever need to move again I will defintely choose another company.

The staff members would say hello when they saw me coming and going. It is so wonderful that they would remember me (I believe I was a customer for about 2 years??). I WAISTED over an hour time with my movers it was one of the worse experience I have every had. I used my card to log in and out to avoid tripping the alarms, nevertheless, the alarms would still go off randomly whenever I was there and they were loud and annoying. The facility is clean, The cost for the size unit I had was reasonable. I've gone to several competitors in the past and U-Haul was better than most.

The staff did nothing to assist with it. The manager on duty at the time showed zero empathy and didn't offer another solution. When the uhaul truck is late then a person has to call the contracted loaders and let them know what's going on. It can be very confusing and frustrating.

Once I got there and checked in, I was told that the truck wasn't available to wait. They paged the driver for an ETA and was told he should be back in 30 minutes, so I decided to wait. I waited until 1:30pm. I spoke with the agent again to let her know I couldn't wait any longer, I had a team of movers waiting for me at home. I lost time and money because I had to pay the team and still didn't get any Customer service apologies.

What I did not appreciate it not being offered the free first month of payment especially after she asked if I wanted to opt in to autopay. Even though she did not bother to explain that if I did opt in that I would qualify for my first month free. Only after referring another customer to her and that location do I find this out and when my husband inquired about it not only did she say that he had no authority on the account but that she couldnt help because it had been over 24 hours since we opened the account. We had to fight to get a credit (which we still have not received) which means there is more calling around, waiting and fighting to be done.

This quite honestly was the last straw because out of all things this is the reason I moved to your location. I was willing to stay despite not having paved isles, waste dump & lights at night. But when you pad locked the power boxes I decided to go back to where I was storing before.
