GAVIN GI had a really important trade show earlier this month, and my pick-up location had changed through the hub,, along with my original quote! The girls here were amazing and did everything they could to give me the best price they could, and solved my problems, and had me on my way. The truck was amazingly clean, and Had no problems whatsoever!
DANIEL Hbetter communication to start with... literally no one could tell me what was going on the entire time. Accurate dates would be great, background checks for your shipping companies would be amazing as my driver got arrested and I wasn't notified until a few days later (my stuff was just sitting at the courthouse for over a week). The Watson location in Georgia needs to have better staffing, when I went to pick up my boxes, I was there for over an hour just waiting in line to talk to someone... I would not recommend u-haul to my worst enemy. I mean this was an utterly ridiculous experience and everyone involved should be extremely ashamed of themselves, especially me because I was a fool enough to actually ok this whole thing and believe that u-haul would take care of me in the first place

DOROTHY SI have a had a large size storage unit where I stored a limousine and when I first started using it, the price was very reasonable. So instead of being grandfathered in, the price of the unit kept going up-for the same space!!! I tried to get relief and the manager on duty did not help!!!! Also, when I went to remove my vehicle there was another vehicle in front of mine-blocking mine in!!! That was not right, and luckily I was able to backup and get out. When I went to explain that the new manager of 3days was rude and was obviously stressed out!!! I will never use that facility again!!!!

CHESTER YThe only issue is that I reserved at one place and only found out I was moved to a different location after I arrived at the original site. They were not far apart, but it would have been nice to have received notification of the change. Other than that, it was a great experience.

TROY KNo gas cap , truck seem to have issues while driving . They said I didn't put gas in when I did . Very poor experience. I feel like I was very over charged . Employee was on cellphone on personal call . Never will rent again .
SUSANAH CI arrived at 11 to pick up on time. There was one person working the counter. And they were helping this old lady that was taking up an absurd amount of time. In customer service, there is a way to not make her feel a certain way, but also not make me wait there for 25 minutes. I stood there for 25 minutes. That's absurd. I had to be somewhere with the truck. And I was late. There should either be another person there able to check me out. The helper couldn't work counter. So they were just standing there. The truck was fine, and people were nice. But please don't make me stand there for almost 30 minutes at the behest of some old lady who literally kept adding stuff to her order as she saw trinkets at the counter. Very frustrating at the time.
BRENDON SCatareena saved us money by knowing her job very well. She was professional and efficient. We would absolutely recommend her to mount a hitch.
roy gI did have to move storage sheds bc the one was leaking and the other one I got has a small amount of water in it on the top but I kept the unit bc it was a very small leak.
Latisha B | Premières impressionsMake sure the equipment is actually on sight and take accurate fuel readings I was charge for 4 gallons of fuel when I took a picture of the gas gauge when picking up the unit and returned it with the exact same amount of fuel I was given when receiving the truck. I also waited in line for 40 minutes before being served which caused delays in my move once finally getting to the counter I got told they didn't have my truck and then I waited an additional 20 minutes for one to show up even though I had a set reservation
ANTHONY GLights over our storage space were out the ENTIRE time we rented in spite of requesting they be fixed at least twice. When we needed assistance after being locked out of our unit, it took 3 different trips to the office (3 different days) because no one was competent enough to know how to turn our fob back on. I even texted the manager after an employee gave me her number and NOTHING was done--not even the courtesy of a response. Most of the employees look like crack-heads and the overall attitude is apathy when asked anything. Glad to be done with Uhaul.

Betty WI dropped the truck off after hours and used the App to complete the drop with photos and info. Awesome experience, would encourage anyone planning to drop after hours downloading the app, it walks you completely through a thorough process to conclusion. Unfortunately, this review needs to be revised and not "force" reviewer to comment on helpful personnel when no personnel were around "after-hours". Why not ask if the "App was helpful".
JON JI was overcharged 71 dollars due to a mistake while typing the mileage, while I understand mistakes happen 71 dollars is a lot while moving and to have to wait 2-3 days to speak to someone before I can even start trying to get my money back is a little ridiculous. I will not recommend uhaul to anyone again after this.
Matthue YKevin Tonelli was the most kind, considerate manager I have run into! He was very attentive to my needs and empathized with the tricky situation I was in by having the goods delivered. I am so appreciative of him and his staff for the time and effort they put forth to put me at ease. The move was smooth, the box delivered and picked up when stated, and I couldn't be more happier dealing with UHaul!!

Mike A | Premières impressionsThe check in and out process was very smooth but our van was dented in on the passenger side door, missing the sun visor and rear view mirror. It was also heavily sprayed with Fabreeze and would of choked out anybody with breathing issues.
ROBYN BUnit did have mold smell we noticed when we moved in unit. Did not seem to transfer to stuff we had in unit. May have been from unit next door. Still smelled when we unloaded unit. Otherwise very nice staff to deal with and no problems with payments coming out. Sooooo conveniently located in North canton, close to U-Haul.

YALONDA MSimple and easy I liked it
DAVID FI paid to use the truck for two days. I gave it back 4 hours later instead, because it was incredibly unsafe to drive and the door did not close. I lost the money that I used for a truck because it was too dangerous to operate, and i'm still moving just wasting time making serveral tricks. I got the u-haul to make moving easier, but it just made my day terrible and I still don't have my things moved because the truck was not able to be used due to being unsafe. I drive all sort of vehicles for my job, and I would never get into another u-haul due to my recent experience. I will never recommend u-haul to anyone, as I paid for a truck that was inoperable, and no one should have to get scammed like that. I got scammed. You can look at my order history for proof that I delivered it back because it was so terrible to you. I can't believe that you guys (u-haul) can get away with scamming people like this. The only positive about my whole experience was that the employees were very polite and helpful when picking up and dropping off the truck. My poor experience is in no way due to poor customer service. My poor experience is due solely to the inoperability of the vehicle and feeling like i've gotten scammed by the company. I am going to tell everyone that u-haul is a scam if i can not get a partial refund for the time i did not use the truck. I am very upset and extremely dissatisfied.
MADALYN MWe rented several storage units in a 5 month period. The units were secure, clean, well lit, and had a comfortable climate. During that time we had shipments sent to the U-Haul facility. The manager, Rosie, and her staff (particularly Kat and Keith) went above and beyond to help us --- great communication and customer service. We would HIGHLY recommend this UHaul location:-)
lori A | Expérience généraleOk, I would never just leave a review, and honestly I don't want any business to suffer due to a negative experience, BUT you asked lol. The truth is the box truck was not in great shape, and I realized this is coming from someone who is a very, VERY clean person and someone who is legitimately OCD with, like, everything. The floor and ramp of the truck were covered with dried mud and dirt; the cab was 'fine,' but come on, guys, the truck drove like complete garbage-loose steering, brakes needed changing, and the kicker was I got the truck with less than a quarter tank of gas. I mean, in order for me to feel comfortable moving all my belongings-I mean, I'm not rich or anything, but it's my STUFF; I don't mistreat my belongings, and I need to keep my stuff clean-I bought RAM board and plastic to cover the box truck floor and walls just to move my stuff. I just wish the trucks were better maintained; like, if YOU needed to move your personal belongings, would you want to throw it in a muddy box?-probably not. Respectfully, Jacob Tilton
JACOB TThe service was very slow. The whole place smelled of pot, and the guy working couldn't care less about being there. Everything was in slow motion. Then, when we hooked up the trailer, he said he would be back to take a photo of the hitch hooked up, but he never came back out. I had to go back in, and he was behind the desk. I said, "Are you coming out to take the photo?" He said, "Ah, no, you are good."

RYAN BThe truck was in extremely poor condition. Steering was lose and almost unsafe. Difficult to accelerate. Engine was extremely loud and sounded like it was going to blow up any minute. Cab was unclean. Truck had a quarter of a tank of gas when we picked it up and we were told to return it with same amount because they won't reimburse if you go over. This meant we had to take two trips to the gas station and try to guess how much it would take to get it back to a quarter.

Connie HRental process was good. Return process was poor. Rental was returned in proper time but not checked in at the office resulting in me being charged for two extra days. Called the office and they located and confirmed the rented unit was on site and said my card was credited and I need to wait 3-5 days for reimbursement. I will follow up to see if the credit is applied.
TODD HThey charged me for a gallon of gas after I already replace what I used. That was unnecessary. The gauge read more on my return than what I took it to drive 21 miles. So basically it cost me 2 and one half gallons of gas. Crappy person

From the time I got there to retrieve the truck from the young lady, all the way to the drop off with the young man. They went above and beyond to help me make it a quick process and so incredibly sweet! Very personable. I felt very comfortable and confident in their capabilities. Even the other employee there was extremely helpful and friendly with his customers. Do you know what that means to us who are stressed out from having the time crunch of moving? I wish I could brag about my experience more. I hope you guys show them some appreciation and recognition, because they deserve it. Hands down… best U-Haul site ever! 10 out of 10… highly recommend!

PHILIP CDoors always locked didn't take the red lock off until over a week late so had to pay another month. Then I moved out on Jan 30,2025 and have had to call corporate and they was no help tried to tell me I owed February and late fee and tried to take out my bank account. Poorly done

ROGER DVery unprofessional Truck was covered with snow and ice Wheni asked which truck it was, I was told two trucks on the other side of the cargo van There was several cargo vans there So with all the vehicles covered with snow and ice I found myself walking around sticking the key in multiple 15 ft trucks trying to unlock the door to find the right one . Was not Pleased with having to walk around in the snow and ice covered parking area trying to find the truck ! I most likely will never go back to that store again even if It was to save me milage money. The 3 ladies working when I first went to the store were much better than the two people when I returned to the store to return truck
CARL LWhile the check is on the app was relatively easy, trying to return via the app seemed to be way more complicated and tedious. I ended up going I side to return. Much easier. Also the parking lot conditions where the truck was parked were horrible. The snow/slush was cumbersome even a day after it stopped snowing. I had to navigate inches of slush just to get to the truck. It would have been nice to have a clear path shoveled between vehicles to prevent having my feet soaking wet before I even got into the truck
Amy STo whom it may concern: It was disappointing to arrive after explaining what our specific need was over the phone. We needed a unit that measured exactly 10x10 & when we arrived the unit access was locked, code worked but door needed to be unlocked by an associate. We proceeded to the units and it was 4x8 at least and then they opened the second to say we had 10x10. That is false advertising. As I explained to the associate we are in need of a unit that can store rolling crates & we'll need a 10x10. The associate was helpful and located us a new unit. Once completed our move in process and went back to the main office. Very disappointed when I was told we need to rent the unit beside the 10x10. Again, we are flexible and willing to work with this, but we are renting a 10x10 not 10x15 with a second door. The associate was helpful and made good notes to talk with store manager ( Rosie) However, Just felt that it was misleading & the staff needs better trained to help locate the correct units on site. I truly do not want to unload my whole unit to accommodate a unit 10x15. Again we hope with good communication we can get this issue resolved with no issues.

GREGORY KFrom my experience with of their GMC Savana cargo vans, very well maintained and clean vehicles. Clean interiors in the main building and the storage building. The restroom in the storage building was very clean. I also find it very nice that they have garage door on the building that way you can back your car in and etc... Also, very friendly staff! My account kept having additional contacts added into the online account (people that would have access to enter the unit), but I didn't know the person. This happened twice and was addressed and changed twice. The third time the same person got added to the account, I decided to move my stuff into another storage facility. Noone could ever explain what happened. When I went in to get access to move everything, the lady that helped me had the same first name (odd spelling of a common name) was the one that was helping me. VERY odd situation. I would never rent at this location again. U-Haul has always treated me well, I've never had an issue with them until this happened.

DENNIS P | Premières impressionsfirst off, i dont know who all was involved in approving this site's location but its not a great idea to build below street level and near a storm drain that flows to a creek below the property. building flooded on a saturday causing massive water damage to a large number of units. we weren't notified until the following monday: what happened to the 24/7 monitoring? are there no alarms? makes one question the rest of the claims of security. pricing is on the high side, so i expect better, although i do appreciate the assistance and supplies for moving my items out.

I went back this week, and they still had me registered in old unit. The lock on MY unit had been changed and I could not get in. I had to pay a locksmith to get into my unit and then get a new lock and had to wait about 2 hours . No one there knew why or what had happened. It was a horrible experience and no one there seemed to have any answers. There was one guy who tried to open the lock with keys he had, but otherwise I was just stuck . Again, a terrible experience!!!

Michelle A | Premières impressionsWhen I initially went to rent a unit, they would loacate a unit fill out contract and when i went to enter the unit it had a lock on it and we had to go back to the office 2 times until we were provided a unit in another building. I initially rented this unit to store my dying mother's household items and needed access at my convenience. The first time I went to enter the unit, my code did not work. I called the after hours number and was provided a code to enter. The next 2 times I went to the unit, there was a sign on the door that said closed due to maintenance. No explanation could be provided and I had to keep my car loaded with my mother's items. They offered to give me another unit to store my things. Again, we were provided with a unit that was locked. When they gave us another unit we opened the door and there is a container of poison inside. I immediately left the facility and found somewhere else to store my mother's belongings. This is one of the worst experiences I have ever dealt with and will not use or recommend Uhaul ever!

martha r | Expérience généralefacility is well lit but units are not. units need overhead lighting. some staff are friendly and some are not. cleanliness issues take too long to get resolved yet the reasoning for price increases has been to more effectively take care of cleaning issues. fees are exhorbitant compared to other local facilities. hot water in bathroom was brown until flushed for up to a minute. damage to outside of facility remained for several days and was overhead of check in area. objects that could cause a flat tire left in parking lot in areas of high traffic. employees locking automatic doors a half hour before they are supposed to be. have to check in/swipe card/type code 3 times after office hours just to use the bathroom. awning has large gaps that do not protect from rain.

I reported it twice, and they tried to fix it, but it never was fixed. I also reported it that it was in someone else's name, not mine, but they didn't really care about that. The sliding glass door entry door was unlocked for two weeks, although it is locked now. I appreciate the space, but I did not feel that it was secure. When I asked UHaul about the alarms going off, they said they never hear them. it was very strange. I did contact the UHaul workers about the alarms and my account name being wrong, but with no results.

This was about 11:00 am. Then they couldn't find the key and had to call an employee who worked the night before. He could not find it either. After wasting almost an hour of my time and the 9 people I had waiting to unload my moving trucks, I found another storage facility down the street and went there. The U-Haul facility was dirty and cluttered, the staff was very unprofessional. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there.

Also, I was told specifically by the staff that they prorated the monthly cost of the units and any unused time would be refunded. That is not the case. You are charge for an entire month, even if you only use the facility for a few days of that month. I am very unhappy that the proration was not honored. The person who rents those units will be prorated and they will double dip on the rental of that unit.

I tried calling the office with questions a few times but no one would ever answer so I always ended up talking to someone at the UHaul call center. I was told we had 48 hours after our monthly payment was due to check out of our units by the ladies in the office as well as through the UHaul live chat feature. When we went to check out during that time our account had been suspended because we were "late." However, we weren't. The ladies in the office gave my husband a hard time about it-good thing I had taken screenshots of my live chat conversation confirming that we did have the full additional 48 hours.

If you know it is not 10x8 you should not present it as such. just be honest. Today, 1/8/23 I needed to get something at 6:50 AM and the door denied access. Access is stated to be at 5 AM.

Moving carts were waiting every time I needed to get items to my storage unit. The only complaint was late fee amount. Granted it was always my fault, but $15 for a late fee of one day I thought was steep. Overall great place. Would use it again if I needed storage.

Douglas H | Premières impressionsWe set up the unit with autopay. We put our credit card number on file. We used the card on file to buy packing supplies. When it came time to pay the second month's rent it wasn't charged to our card. Instead we got a late notice and we were charged a $15 late fee. I tried to call numerous times but no one ever answered. I went to the U-Haul website and used the chat function. I was assured twice that I would receive a call back from the local GM. I never got a call. I stopped in and was treated very rudely by the person who was working. I sent an email to the GM but never got a response. She was quick however to send a notice of a rate increase. Our rent was paid through 9/21 but our account was closed on 9/15. Luckily we had removed our belongings by then. The business practices are unethical and the customer service is horrible. I'd never rent from that site again and would never recommend it either. There are plenty of other storage places around and I'd recommend any of them before U-Haul.

It wasn't cool like the front of the building was. Also, it was an extremely long way to walk from the front parking lot....it is ridiculous that they don't allow people to use the rear entrance to load and unload their lockers, especially since the rear entrance is right around the corner.

Canton I needed something at 11 pm and could not get it. 24hr access denied During the day it's open and not supervised as well. I will still recommend but the whole experience was bad. The lady at headquarters really mess my order up and she should not be working there. The headquarters are nothing but pushy sells people pushing you to buy

Went to the storage unit and I can not Get into my unit only during business hours. My code doesn't work, unloading took a very long time due to the location of unloading docks. I got a text to drop the truck somewhere else and I called and refused to do it. Gas is 5 dollars a gallon and giving MORE mileage is not a reimbursement to transport your truck to and from my scheduled pick up and drop off. I have called Uhaul and they said they can't do anything!

I finally reached someone around the 28th. Now my move out date reads the 31st. Customer service is not the too priority with this certain facility. Shame cause I've used U-Haul many times in my Navy Carrier and never had a problem. I will use them again they are a great company just this one time if bad communication and lack of a vehicle in my part will not turn me away from U-Haul I am a loyal customer and will always use them.

SEVERAL people told us we would get a refund on the unused time after our final unit was emptied. Upon completion we were told refunds are not done. This wasn't fair as uhaul could have re-rented these units and gotten double money on them. We've learned our lesson. Next time we will keep the units, empty or not until the very last minute!

He had told me the truck would be available at the whipple location once we arrived @ the whipple store I was told to pickup on E Tusc. After arriving @ the store on Tusc. the young lady could not find my rsvp. Back to whipple the gentleman had to call the manager to get things straightened out. Manager upgraded truck. Rsvp a second truck & Jeff once again screwed up. He was to schedule pickup Canton & return & he did not. Manager once again took care of the problem. No I will recommend renting truck from uhaul location. Jeff horrible poor customer service never smiled & I pray he didn't do what he did based on what he THOUGHT was social economics. I can assure whatever the cost for rental we can afford. I felt he judge me on the color of my skin / social economics. I would like a feed back. Merci

I paid slightly less for a PRISTINE unit in MI that i could even drive my vehicle into for loading/unloading. I will be looking for a different storage unit elsewhere. I always have a good experience with truck rental & my friends unit was decent, but this was way below my expectations (especially of Uhaul) for the price.

First she did not answer cell phone. Had to call second time before she answered. She said I had to use both access places because it was after 7:00 pm. I did and door opened but not sliding door. Had to call her a third time to find out how to open sliding door. Was told it would not open because it was after 7:00 pm. When I went to open unit I rented it was full of trash and had not been swept. We had to find a broom and sweep it and clean out trash. I call her a fourth time to report this. She called me today and apologized for all the trouble and dirty unit. She said she noted on my account I would get 20 % off for the rest of my rental. I asked her why the representative did not inform me of additional things to access after 7:00pm. She said she would talk to them but could not answer this because she was not there when I rented. If I had not been able to contact her last night I would have been denied access. I had a semi truck making delivery at 8:00 pm. He would have been required to stay over until today and I would not have been able to have my help with unloading.
