The trailer initially had a severed wire, which had to be repaired when I picked it up. The young man was quick to address the problem, which was greatly appreciated.

WAYNE MThe check in process was easy. Chelsea was friendly and knowledgeable. Your equipment is horrible. It seemed like there is more time spent on trying to upsell boxes, insurance, movers, or any other number of services rather than just maintaining the fleet. I rented a trailer, to go and meet a person who also rented a U-Haul trailer. The right turn signal and right brake light stopped working on my trailer. The wiring is horrendous and looks like a kindergartener did it. It's been repaired poorly multiple times - go look at it. The green wire was broken in two. So now I'm driving 400 miles with no turn signal or brake light. This is dangerous and incompetent. The friend I met - his trailer rear tire disintegrated. It looked like a recap tire, which should not be allowed. So between two trailers, two massive problems and these things should not be on the road. I returned my trailer and made note of what was wrong. No mention of a refund was given.

Julia KTeam facility informed the truck was with a determined amount of gas(5/8), but in fact was 1/2(half tank, have video showing), use the truck for 35 miles and refiled the truck with about 15 usd, more than it was and was charged even more because of the wrong amount the gas was indicating on the gauge.
FLAVIO RI was overcharged for equipment I did not order or receive. I included that in my information when I dropped off my equipment, but I was still automatically charged for the incorrect amount despite being notified through the portal that someone would contact me about my issue. No one followed up with my issue. I do not think it was the fault of this specific location but rather the fault of uhaul as a whole. Be wary when reserving equipment online!
Katie WThe truck cabin was sort outdated. The computers were unable to pull up my reservation and I was charged a $20 fee for returning the truck after the location was closed. This was not told to me in advance. I have never had to do this before for any uhaul that I have ever rented. Very disappointed.

TIm WWhen I opened the back of the truck it seems like the dolly was not bolted in correctly. This meant that the dolly was loose in the back. When I checked my bill for the transaction I saw a $7 charge that I believe was for the dolly. I did not ask to have the dolly unbolted when I procured the truck and don't believe the $7 charge should be on me.

YANCY BThis is a huge U-Haul location with everything you could need for a move! It is near our home (where we would be returning to) so we were able to shop for specific supplies, like large mirror boxes and large packs of bubble wrap. This way we knew we had what we needed for packing on the other end where we would get the trailer. They were very busy when we pulled in for drop off on a Sunday afternoon, but greeted us promptly and processed the return expeditiously. All the employees are very kind, professional, and helpful. I would definitely recommend this location.

DAYNERAM SYou need to tell customers that in order to check in outside and avoid the 75 minutes it takes to pick up you have to select 24/7 option when reserving. I made a point of going to the location ahead of time to reserve the truck I needed because doing it online always routes me to another location and I often get a truck other than the size I want. So I took time out of my day to drive there and do it in person. I asked the rep at the desk if I had completed EVERYTHING I needed to do so I could just pick up the truck outside and go. She said yes. Well, turns out she was wrong. Chelsea was at the counter when I went to get the truck and that's when she told me I had to select 24/7 option when reserving in order to pick up the vehicle outside and not stand in the line. I waited 55 minutes including she had to put partof my information in the system again as she said for some reason the system deletes part of it (Uhaul needs to fix that) even though I'd just provided it all when I cam in to book and then wait another 2 minutes because there was only one guy who was responsible for pulling the trucks up and he wasn't moving fast at all. Then they had to send me a new link as the truck I'd been assigned, he said the door wouldn't close. The last truck I got from Uhaul, the window wouldn't seal completely so if it rained it leaked and it was really noisy driving on highways. And just like the last 3 times the cup holder area wasn't clean. Having rented from Uhaul for years, I've noticed a decline in the quality of the vehicles. They are not being well maintained. And to make the effort to do everything in person to book the truck and then come back and still have to wait in line and take 55 minutes to get paper work because you only have ONE person at the desk and another 20 minutes because you have only ONE person getting trucks pulled up is poor planning. I'll be going to another provider from now on. BTW, I also asked Chelsea to have the manager call me and he never did. Its impossible to call and get the store, national grabs all calls so I didnt even bother to try to call in. Uhaul, you used to be better than this but you're customer service and product have slipped to below acceptable standards.

Just as I was completing that process I was approached and told that I could have returned it via them and it would have been simpler. By then I was almost done and completed the return process via the App.

I tried to turn in a doly and the guy that had that job thought it was more important to count and organize pads in the back of a truck instead of helping a human being that was waiting. Then when he was finally asked by inside staff to help. He says NOTHING to me the entire interaction while turning in the doly. Then just walked off without telling me that he was finished. Until I asked him if he was done. Not real hard to communicate with customers.

Instead, letters were sent to Alabama to my 77-year old mother. My address and phone number were on file! When I set up the agreement, I gave the lady my driver's license with my address on it. She spelled out "Mister" instead of entering "Mr" Lincoln Ct. I know they had my phone number because on one occasion, she called me at work to ask me questions about who I was related to that I should get a discount. I explained and further reminded her as I had answered those questions when I sat with her. I work a lot and travel for work but my phone is always with me so no excuse for not contacting me. The highlight of the service is a lady named Nora! She was kind and helpful. I watched how she offered service excellence to other patrons and to me when we were moving out! Kudos to her! She was great!

BARBARA A | Expérience générale1) There are temperature issues and I had to switch units after I measure the temp at 90 dregrees. 2).The store should not be making offers that the system doesn't support. I was given a pay the first month (July) get 2 months free. But the system charged me in August along with a late fee which i had to be reimbursed for. They also mailed my family member which was embarrassing. The manager explained that he couldn't prevent it but would reverse it when it happened in Sept. It happened in 9/2 but he never reversed it and I was disabled from the keypad and a lock put on my unit. Of course it was a weekend and no manager was around and they refused to call him because it was my day off. I moved out the next day. 3) When I was moving out, an employee was harassing me about parking my truck at the dock and told me it wasn't allowed (untrue). I was using my pickup to load very heavy furniture by myself and the dock was level with my truck bed. 4) I also learned that I was able to get storage unit across the street for $60/month (1/2 what u-haul charged me for same size). If you guys weren't such a clown show in my first 3 months, I would have never looked or realized it.

They also didn't know that the stairs weren't open. Once Doug found out, he quickly resolved the issue by opening up the stairs and got an update on the fire alarm work.

My Apple Watch kept giving me warnings that the noise was above 90 decibels (dBA). OSHA standard is 85 dBA for your employees, so 90 dBA is above that level and consequently damages hearing. My suggestion would be to either determine all the possible ways the alarm could be triggered, and retrain your staff and subsequent customers, so the alarm is not triggered or lower the alarm volume, so it is not harmful and annoying for the customer.

Franklyn B | Expérience généraleThe overall storage experience was five-star. However, the elevator hasn't been working for over a month and our unit was on the second floor. Not having a working elevator was extremely inconvenient while we were clearing out our unit. All storage items had to be physically carried down the stairs to vacate the unit. We are both senior citizens and this was quite stressful and painful for our physical bodies. The location should provide complementary move-in and move-out service while the elevator is down. The customer shouldn't bear the brunt of the elevator not being in operation. We even had a customer stop us to ask if we could help her carry some of her things to an upper floor because she was there solo. The employees were very apologetic about the elevator being out of service. When we inquired about the out of service elevator earlier this month we were told that the elevator service company was waiting on a part for the repairs. Here we are at the end of the month and the elevator is still out of service. The elevator service company needs to understand the gravity of this situation and be required to assist with the funding of the move-in and move-out service while the elevator is out of service. If repairing this elevator was impacting their bottom line the necessary part would be more of a priority to them.

My unit is on the 3rd floor & the last two times I have needed to get to my unit the elevator was broken. The team went out of their way to find a solution the last time the elevator was down. However, because it is consistently broken, I am nervous every time I need to go to the unit. If this happens again, I will need to find another facility and I really do not want to do this. I am also open to moving to a first floor unit.

Unfortunately, she made it sound as good f this place was close by and the unit we reserved was large enough. However, when we got there, it was WAY further away then we wanted and the unit wasn't even close to what we needed. Thank goodness the gentleman helping me had a unit available that was big enough for us. Only complaints would be, the PRICING for the units inside the store were way less than what we were charged and they would not honor that. Also, There needs to be better signs explaining how to enter the facility as well as access to put garbage when needed. Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful! Even though it was much further than we wanted to go and could have rented somewhere closer for the same price, we were happy.

The unit was clean, easy to access with plenty of courtesy moving carts. Also Miss Nora (employee) was AMAZING!! We got to the unit about an hour before closing and she helped us move our items without us even asking. She was so sweet and made our experience great! Highly recommend this storage unit.

They treated me like crap at the fist place the guy was rude supervisor got me into the 10*10 in Ocoee not once offering insurance or anything it was late and they were both closing up and was in a rush to get to the Ocoee location. Checked my things a month later My things were leaked on from the unit above and a lot of my things were molded. Peggy stated that's the liability I take without insurance took pictures and I filed a claim but got no where because I didn't have insurance plus I just lost my son and had just too much going on to fight this but I took major losses dealing with uhal and it seemed like my bills just kept going up every month since August.. They were adding charges for 24 hr access I didn't request more than at the time of getting the units and rate increases often for a unit that ruined my things.. Peggy and Alex were nasty at both Uhal and just unprofessional.. I had to relocate my things else where and moving out of the RV spot this weekend

I'm not sure if it's because of the location or because they can but the prices are a little higher than they probably need to be and just before we left our unit we were told the rates were going UP. Uhaul also does not offer military discounts for storage which is also why I give them an average. Our new storage unit did offer us a discount on an even bigger unit.

I called customer service, they were astounded at this lack of responsibility. They told me to return to the local store. Then I was helped finally and was refunded. Except now I have a moving truck, told I'd just owe mileage and gas after drop off, tried to charge me $90 because they tacked on extra insurance and a random "rental fee" for $40. Wtf??? I called customer service AGAIN, and I was told I would only owe for the mileage I went over. So these people are liars and scammers. Oh and the customer service wait is always an hour.
