A misunderstanding of where to drop truck off resulted in an additional $284 charge. The iriginsl drop off was quite far from our destination. We were told as we got close we could either call or look for a uhaul. We left it at our destination location, clean, gas, and a day early. Im hoping this will be resolved soon

Very large and very out of the way for me to drive to. Personnel were non-US which made understanding their requests. No one even checked out if the trailer was clean or not.

Rented from this location several times. The twin girls that help with the trailer hookup are always helpful and good to deal with. But the guy that took the trailer when returning has a really bad attitude both times I've seen him. He seems like he hates his job, slams things around and just complains too much. Everyone else has always done a good job.

The trailer they attempted to give me appeared to have wheel bearing issues - the guy working the yard was a jerk at best. I made them give me a trailer next to it with tight bearings and good tires.

I found out after driving 720 miles from FL to NC that the truck I rented had no turn signal or brake lights.

Front desk staff was fine. Man who lead me to trailer very unfriendly. Ordered a 4x8 trailer to move 4 pieces of furniture. Someone changed it to a 6x12. Without confirming with me! They had 2 4x8 on lot. I did not want the bigger trailer due to more weight and more pull in my truck. I had no choice. This cost me additional money due to gas mileage while pulling bigger heavier trailer. Not happy with this rental at all, and will probably never hear from the company anyways!

Here's the thing. The Naples store had two trailers that were broken so after and hour there wasting my time, I had to drive all the way to Ft. Myers and back! I think UHaul should credit me a day for my wasted time of a day.

The person I was dropping it off with was rude. Telling me to pull up to a stop sign. I did so and pulled the front bumper of my truck to the stop sign. He started telling me again to pull up to the stop sign. I said I am. After asking what do you want because the front of the truck is at the stop sign. He then says he wants the trailer at that stop sign. He was clear about what he wanted and was rude.

I rent several trucks and trailers every year and have done so at this location for almost 20 years. To get to it I pass by at least 10 "mom & pop" locations because this location gets it. First time I had 2 girls working the lot and BOTH were very helpful, professional, and hard working. The quality of service between a dedicated U-Haul facility and some small business just trying to make a quick buck is startling.

I had reserved my storage unit online and really didn't want the unit that was offered through the online system. The gentleman that helped me on Saturday 05/03/25 was able to get me a better unit! The unit I ended up with is in the perfect place for loading and unloading! I was really happy with the change!

I could not drive into the u-haul location from route 41 because it was blocked with many unoccupied u-haul trucks. Had to go back out to route 41 do a u-turn then travel to a street south of the u-haul location. Next I drove down that street to a side entrance that was poorly marked in order to enter the u-haul establishment with my vehicle. I had a 1-7/8" ball on my vehicle when it was hooked up to a 5x8 enclosed trailer. After driving that day I didn't like the noise coming from the hitch so I went to another u-haul location to have a 2" ball installed on my vehicle.

Every time I was there to unload some storage to unpack at my new home, either James or some of his staff asked if they could help with whatever I was doing. As I am not very strong, their many kindnesses and offers were so appreciated.

I had interaction with 4 employees at 11401 S Cleveland Ave. Fort Myers, FL 33907. Every one of them treated me very well. They had answers for all my questions using the knowledge they had gained by working at U-Haul. I was very pleased. It wad s very good experience. Rick Wuethrich

The U-Haul facility at 2650 Fowler Avenue. Totally screwed us up. We had a reservation there and when we got there there was no trailer. You could improve your service by terminating their contract. The phone number that this original reservation was under is 812-345-6367. I called and tried to complain and they said someone will call me back in 72 hours and they didn't. This is from your home office that the call was supposed to come from.

Serious problem with Auto magic door 2 storage containers NOT STAYING OPEN while we're taking our items 2 inside storage. Had 2 REOPEN DOORS at LEAST 3 Dozens times!!! Very Frustrating

I wouldn't recommend U-Haul to a single person, animal or bug. It wasn't so much this location, it was the fact that I had a scheduled rental for a different location and they didn't have my truck, they told me I went to the wrong location, which wasn't put on my reservation. Went to the new location no one was there, went to another location and they had no rentals which then they booked me for this current location. I called scheduling or just customer service in general and everyone was quite rude. I am very disappointed and unhappy with my experience, I basically waited two hours to pick up a truck which delayed me by hours on moving. The girl working the pick up counter at this location wasn't bad at all and I'm sorry if this lowers a score for her, but I had a terrible terrible experience for the entire day until I got home.

I had almost had no gas. When I starred the truck the warning was on with 39 miles left so I ended up putting more gas in the tank than I needed. Otherwise everything was great.

first of all, I was sent there from my original pick up location. ez-pz postal 19481 Tamiami trl was absolutely horrible. they had no record of me or my reservation. I had to show them my phone & printout. not friendly or helpful at all! waste of time

The office staff was professional, kind, and courteous, making me feel welcomed. However, the young man who hooked up the dolly to my car seemed inexperienced and possibly having a hard day. He was not particularly polite and was unresponsive to my initial questions. When he did answer, his responses were blunt. After leaving, I had to stop because I realized the blinker light on the dolly-one he had been adjusting-was not working. He likely just needs better training to ensure a smoother experience for customers.

Reserved a van for specific reasons to move an office, got a boxtruck instead with oil covered flooring, because "someone changed it in the system ", without notifying us. Stood 20+ minutes in line, the person at the counter didn't offer any discount, etc. after the mixup, says "you won't pay more"... 

I checked in with James yesterday to pick up my truck. Not a smile, nothing. Never even looked me in the face. Although I did notice when the next couple came in, he was exceedingly pleasant with them. Customer service is extremely lacking here. Even dropping the keys off I was met with such disdain. Does it cost anything to smile, Say goodmorning, how was everything? Air conditioning was in and out in the truck. I've rented here for many years. I will no longer patronize the U-haul.

I had a great experience and will for sure use U haul again! I had an issue with my wiring harness being torn part from being dragged on the ground and they replaced what needed replacing and got me up and running again!

I went 2 days over my agreement, explained that I moved and had one month free. Did not need the storage but they insisted on charging almost $200 to remove lock they gave, open EMPTY storage door. Ridiculous.

The lot attended on duty on Sunday around 934 was nasty, rude and kind of racist very unprofessional. I will never ever again use this facility. I did bring into the manager's attention, but then the Michael he apologized and said he would talk to him whether that happened or not I have no clue this guy does not need to be working with people. He should be working in the cemetery Where he has no contact with life people very nasty super rude.

In getting past the door, there is a very large lip to get over using the rolling cart. This made it incredibly difficult for me to pull the cart into the storage facility every time I had to unload more items and my uhaul was full. The concrete had broken away all along the edge of the door. Otherwise, everything else was great.

My first interaction with the staff was horrible. I was given a storage unit that already had a lock on it. When I notified the staff, they had attitudes and weren't friendly. I had movers at the U-Haul location and it took them over and hour to get me another unit. My had to pay an additional fee for the movers going over the time. When they finally found me another unit, it was 30 dollars more and they refused to match the price of my other unit even though it was their fault. I will never use U-Haul ever again.

The experience was ok until we got to our destination. Surprise, surprise; the truck we rented was a 26 footer, we were moving a three bedroom bla, bla home, and when we got to our destination the only storage available was a 10x10 and they would make available a 7x10 for us, take it or leave it. We make a reservation of a 10x20. We were lucky that we have relatives in the area and let us use their garage.

The store does not answer their phone. I have called multiple times a day for multiple days and left multiple messages for the manager and received no call after 14 attempts. I even contacted corporate and corporate said they never answer their phones. Corporate also contacted the manager and requested for them to call me and I still didn't receive a call back. I have also physically stood in the store and watched them ignore calls & let the phone ring and ring with no attempting to answer. That is the only reason I canceled my unit- poor communication skills & excuses from the manager and staff on why they don't answer the phone.

After completing a move to the area, we dropped off our Uhaul truck and trailers at the Ft. Myers facility. The manager, Eli Rosado, was extremely helpful and ensured everything went smoothly. He provided the storage unit and personally showed us the best way to access and use the facility. Of all the places we dealt with during our move, this was by far the best facility to work with, from the staff helping with the drop off to the manager. .

The main problem is that we could never use the big door, always blocked by other pods, trucks, etc. My husband had tools and we're heavy so that was VERY inconvenient, and when asked about it, staff just replied that they didn't have anywhere to put stuff and the had other spaces they could have used. Also my card had been hacked and charged me 15 late charge instead of notifying me. And paying 95 a month for a small space was just too much considering other issues.

The reason why I said no to the lighting was because of the fact that the lights upstairs where my storage unit was does not stay on for more than 5 minutes and you have to keep going down the other way to send hit the sensor so the lights will come on other than that my experience with you was good and I would recommend you to other people but maybe you might want to do something about the upstairs light so when the lights come on they stay on until like 5 minutes after people are done something like that.

The workers were fantastic everybody they have on a crew went above and beyond I put yes to as well let’s but actually inside the storage it didn’t have light and was hard to see to the back other than that it worked fine and I would recommend it if you’re looking for storage

I was told by the Uhaul call center that my unit was on the first floor. When I arrived I found out all available units were on the second floor, the person in office spoke negatively about the call center always screwing things up, and I would have to carry my boxes up stairs. I was sent out by the office to find it on my own in a sea of buildings. Fortunately Nigel helped us find the right building, helped us get in, and provide guidance on how best to get the boxes out of our truck and up the stairs. I answered yes to the question above about the staff being friendly and helpful because Nigel truly was. He saved what could have been a negative first impression.

I had requested online, along with my truck rental, a spacious storage unit so there would be no issues getting all my stuff in. The clerk, although courteous, told me storage units are on a first come first serve basis. That is not the impression chicken on the website.cthe storage unit I was given was very small and on the 2 nd floor.

I reserved a 10X10 Got an 8x8 because my reservation wasn't available upon arrival. I instead got an 8x8 2nd story locker. Will be using my free month and moving to a location that actually has the product I need. Epic waste of time and money. The staff was super friendly and courteous. The manager however is not an honest person.

I wrote the comment about Michael last week from when I used this uhaul. Again outstanding service great people you have working for you. Both in the office and the people working on the lot 10/10. Would go here again and reccomend to anyone who needs a uhaul or storage.

Unit B45 lights were not working making it difficult to use at night. When I inquired about a unit, I specifically asked for 1st floor with no stairs. Unfortunately, when I got there, that wasn't the case, and no other unit was available.

Paid uhaul to install wire for the hitch 3 weeks ago, employees tried hooking up a trailer, found out the wires don't work anymore. Seems nothing can be done about 160 dollar wires?

I had 6 U-boxes stored at the Cleveland Ave location. I had the best experience possible with the team here. Every time I called or came in, I was taken care of quickly and happily.
