The clerk who helped us was a rock star, she was servicing four customers and a phone line all at once and doing it with patience and professionalism. However, she shouldn't have had to do all that by herself, more people should be hired so that the process is easier on everyone. Either that or pay her the wages of three people.

U have rented Uhauls from multiple different locations before and this location is far below. Hire more people and move to a bigger and better location. Almost 1 hour wait to pick up and when renting because of its location it caused a line of traffic on the street that backed up far back without moving. Also apps needs lots of improvements!

They had people working the counter that were not experienced and didn't know how to use the computer. I was told that I had reserved a one way trailer and would have to pay double. I just wanted to get going after it took over 30 minutes to check out. I was told where the trailer was and someone would be out to help me hook it up. I found the trailer hooked it up and in 20 plus minutes no one ever showed up. I just left. After done with the trailer I called support to find out where to drop off the trailer. They were super helpful and corrected my issues but then needed to return the trailer back to the same location. I pulled into the return area and someone met me and asked me to pull it around behind the building and he would meet me back there. Again I'm waiting for him to come out. After again waiting several minutes he shows up eating an ice cream treat. Glad to see I was a priority for them. They just seem to have no care for the customer.

Planned my entire month around getting a hitch installed and moving using my trailer to move and close on a property. U-Haul called after 3 1/2 hours and said they didn't have the parts to do a simple electrical hookup and nobody nearby did either. Just a basic van. So, the weekend plans are shot. I'd never return. Service was slow. Unapologetic. Unexplainably terrible experience. Awful & ridiculous.

I dropped off after hours and the place was very crowded and it was very confusing about figuring out where I should park. There was hardly enough room to drive the truck around for a parking spot. Either signage for best drop off place or a less crowded driveway would be helpful.

The employees you have there may be some of the worst in organization and customer service I have seen in awhile. We went to check in to our unit last Saturday, we found our unit and were on the app, when we got to it, it had a lock on it. We had to go to the front desk, and they had no idea what was going on or why. They offered to cut off the lock, but likely there is already someone elses stuff in there, so I asked for a different unit, which they provided and said it would update on the app. However that didn't happen, so I am still getting charged for the unit I'm not using and I don't know if they even know if someone is paying for the unit I am currently in. Meanwhile, the people behind us had also reserved a dolly, and they didn't have one to give despite the reservation. They never apologized or tried to make it right, they just told them to go somewhere else if they weren't satisfied. That place is a hot mess. It needs a new manager for sure.

The truck assigned to me had a dead battery. The manager was very helpful in getting us on our way. It did take a while but the staff was very help full. The real problem I had was the truck we ended up with didnt have working brake lights or turn signals.

The young man who answered my questions when I inquired a week ago was vey helpful and friendly. Very pleasant and happy. The young woman who helped me obtain a storage unit was very helpful, patient and friendly. Since I have not used this service before, I had quite a few questions. Anthony did a phenomenal job! He is very professional, hard-working, has a great attitude, and knowledgeable. In the midst of a very busy day (it is the weekend that many of the nearby colleges and universities are moving out, so there were many other customers there), he kept positive, professional, and efficient. Not to take away from the other employees, as they also appeared to have positive attitudes. But, Anthony checked me in, installed the hitch, and finalized my payment.

Personnel was somewhat helpful at the St. Paul, MN location except at the end when no one was outside to show us where to park the trailer upon return. That was a bit confusing, so we unhooked the trailer and just dropped it off in the enclosed parking lot. Because this was a massive UHaul facility in St. Paul, it was a bit chaotic. However, I highly recommend UHaul for small moves.

They did not follow the manufacture or Uhaul's instructions on how to install this hitch. The instructions call for a small 1"x10" and 5,5x3,5 rectangle in the fascia, instead all fascia was removed and the bumper was hacked away from end to end.

A younger UHUAL employee was not very helpful at helping me set up a motorcycle trailer. This was my first time attempting to tow a trailer. At first, they were sort of dismissive and did not have an approachable attitude. I shrugged it off since I assumed they must have been tired or shy. I was instructed to go to the back to wait for the trailer set up. He never showed up. No one showed up. I was able to figure it out but it would have been helpful to have someone help me through it. I feel like they were careless and unsupportive. I hope the management and employees can be more supportive to their customers to ensure safety and reliability.

Employees were lazy and not eager to assist nor explain the pickup process or charges on my bill. Staff attempted to add a $100 charge without explaining and refused to retrieve the mattress bag that was paid for online and showed ineptitude with their own computer software. Also failed to place dolly or furniture pads into the truck ahead of time because "they were all the way in the back", and quoted prices significantly higher than the initial online quote. Very unsatisfactory experience, and I would appreciate management reaching out to me about this very low-quality experience.

I'm a frequent renter of trailers and vans from this location... for our photo/video business. The staff keeps changing, but they're always good... the equipment good... location easy to access... online ordering/pre-check-in helpful (the app is working much better these days). Will be back again!

It took me over 30 minutes to pick up my vehicle. For starters, the on-line check in takes long enough that someone came out and had me come in instead. I reserved a cargo van. That's what I wanted. However, for some reason the guy checking me in gave me a 10' truck. At one point he even said 10' truck and I corrected him with "van". That apparently didn't register because he still assigned a truck to me. So when I was given the paperwork and a vague notion of where my vehicle was, I searched for a van, checked all the license plates and vehicle numbers, but none matched my paperwork. So I had walk all the way back to the customer desk to find out where my "van" was. I was then told it was down the alley and I said there are no vans down there, only trucks and they said I have a truck. By this time I was already running late and couldn't take the time to have them correct it so I just went and got the truck. The truck was not clean. There were remnants of twine and such left over from the last person who rented it and the radio was blasting so chances are no one even started the truck up after the last person rented it, unless they were deaf. After I got home to pick up my items I realized that I couldn't take one of the items I wanted to because it is a big stained glass panel and I didn't trust the truck suspension to not shatter it while driving. THAT'S WHY I WANTED A VAN! Because I was running so late, I didn't have time to come up with some type of better padding to use. If I reserve a van, I WANT A VAN! And seriously, how many times do I have to say I don't want your stupid insurance before you understand? Are you just trying to piss off your customers and make an already way too involved check-in process even longer?

Overall experience fine. Long distance moving is expensive. I am unsettled because I was offered a "VIP ticket" if I'm saying it correctly. Any how, it's a credit that I would use for storage. My units arrived the 17th. Meaning I would not use the storage for an entire month. I paid my entire bill prior to the 17th and tried to use this "VIP". I was told by the uhaul representative told it's too soon. I had to wait until the charges for the storage posted to to my account. Now these charges posted after I paid my full bill of $2 000 and something. Some days later the chargers for $199 which was the storage showed up on my account. I then called trying to use this "VIP" again and was told " oh it's too late, the charges have posted to your account" I explained the whole thing to a representative who says she would take care of it. She never called me back, no one knows anything about refunding me my $199. Don't offer it if you not gonna honor it.

There were mouse droppings on the furniture and on the floor of my unit. It was difficult to see inside my unit without bringing a strong flashlight. Otherwise, I appreciated the easy access and assistance when I fumbled with entry. It was climate controlled so comfortable to do work with storage. I liked ability to drive in to load my vehicle. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

Couldn't find anyone to help me. Check engine light was on in the truck. After I returned the truck and was told everything was good to go, got my receipt via email 2 hours later and was accidentally charged 2000 dollars more than I should have been because somebody entered the mileage wrong when charging me. This was obviously awesome because my bank account got overdrafted.

Everything as expected. One comment from the last two rentals, I do not like the gas tank not being full when I pick it up and I am expected to have it full when I return it.. I don't know how much to put in to get the guage back to "one line above half". Especially when the gauge doesn't have the same markings as the contract. This process seems like some end up paying way more to refuel while others may not refuel at all.

A couple of weeks after renting the storage unit, I tried to pay my bill. They had no record of my name, my address, my phone number, the storage unit number. I've used U-Haul now twice. Both times I had extreme problems with their record keeping. I am close to calling the Better Business Bureau. The record is awful. Their help is good, however.

I want to bring to your attention a serious issue I encountered at the U-Haul location on Como Ave in Minneapolis. I secured a storage unit in August 2024 with the intention of staying for just one month, which unexpectedly extended to three months. Initially, I did not purchase insurance due to insufficient funds on my card, but I secured coverage in September. Recently, when I went to retrieve my TV from my unit, I was appalled to discover dirt or clay covering my belongings, along with significant mouse droppings that were smelly and damp. Upon investigation, I found that mice had chewed through my bags, resulting in damage to at least half of my items. The storage unit next to mine had a visible issue with their ceiling, suggesting that this problem was likely exacerbated by their situation. I spoke with the manager who directed me to contact Dan, who informed me I could remove my items only after Thanksgiving. I emphasized my need for another unit since the insurance required that I only keep undamaged items. Unfortunately, Carl, who was my point of contact, never returned my calls and is now no longer employed at your facility. Despite the ongoing issues and my need for a different unit, my card was charged for December, and I've received no solution or communication regarding my situation. I find it unacceptable that I am still left with bags in my car that should have been safely stored away. Therefore, I demand a refund for my December payment, as this situation is unfair. Weekend staffing was very low - very often had to wait in a long line to talk to somebody in the office. Sometimes access to the storage loading bays was limited or blocked completely - at one point, there was a vehicle parked without moving for nearly 24 hours. This was frustrating.

My reservation was not made for the right place, or size of unit, or time needed. Later making the reservation weeks ago, and confirming it twice with customer service, I show up to the storage facility after loading a 26 ft truck and driving 10 hours and they had no record of my reservation.

This facility is very busy. The staff were very pleasant and very helpful. They took the time to answer all of my questions. I would recommend reserving a unit ahead of time if possible as they were nearly full!

When we arrived were unable to get the garage door to open when backing our until trailer to the door. Thankfully we are skilled with moving a trailer around quickly as we had to use the front end of the truck to alert the sensor to open then I had to stand in the doorway keeping the garage from closing by standing in front of the sensor while my husband backed in. It was quite frustrating and when we left we struggled to find how to get out! It took another customer's help to show us where the garage door button was to leave. More signs would be helpful. More signs with less long winded wording would be great too. It was way too much information to take in to figure out what steps we needed to do. I do appreciate how thorough the signs were so I'm not saying get rid of those but maybe a sign saying garage door button here with simple wording. The facility itself is great and felt secure and clean.

The customer service at this location is top notch and they went above and beyond accommodating my dock height truck for loading into their storage which made all the difference in a quick and easy move in. I definitely would say that Ethan has some quality customer service skills and handled my whole move in process fast and easily. Somebody call the police because this guy's killing it.

While the registration for this site was easy online and I got into my space and unloaded my belongings, access to the storage space was not always accessible without having to walk and carry belongings because the pull in spaces were filled. At least three attempts to get access to storage space, I turned around and left. Even on the day to pick up my last belongings, when I arrived all the pull in spaces were full. After first parking, someone pulled out but after I got pulled in, I only ever saw one storage space where a person was sorting belongings - all the while blocking access to others to pull in, and all the other pull in slots were filled with cars as well. For this I have moved storage to another site, where it is pull in and drive thru and I have always had access. Even if the pull in is full of cars ever, access to the elevator is close to my space and the space is twice as large for less money. And more accessible on a route I take several times a week. I am thankful the use of the storage space and have always been happy with UHual but accessibility is important to me. Thank you. While I am required to say yes to office hours and friendly staff, I did not interact with the office or staff during my rental. Rental was handled online only.

My brother died. Some stoked his tools and other items. I know who this was. I submitted a police report. I spoke the GM after I contacted the police and he was waiting for it. That was in Oct 2023. Today, no one has returned a call to the police and their request for surveillance video information. This is horrible. I've spoke to a total of 3 people. Over $1300 of items was stolen from my deceased brother & your company who is suppose to offer secure place has done nothing. Very sad situation

I only had one issue. I wanted to get at my unit on a week day after 7 pm, however I couldn't get access, and the office was closed. Access for the unit was supposed to be until 10pm that day. Other than that one issue, I was very pleased with staff and the availability.

Seriously the staff here are AMAZING! So helpful, going above and beyond and all with a smile. Shout out to Rodrick and Caleb and the countless others who over the course of a month of moving in and out of storage and renting trucks made the process way less stressful than it could have been. It should also be mentioned that I witnessed some really patient and graceful customer service, stressed customers walked out informed and calm knowing their options. Major props all around. Merci.

After a relocation move to Saint Paul, I had excess stuff that needed to go somewhere and this facility was convenient and had a good price. That was about 18 months ago and I made one downsize during that time to the unit that I was just able to close, because I finally was able to find a home for everything. But they were great during the entire time when I would visit, when I made the change in unit size, and when I did the termination. The online access and service there was also good during the entire experience.

For someone who has never gotten a storage space before it was very confusing and I was not sure how things work. We ordered a 10x20 unit and was given 2 10×5 units at the back of the facility. I saw numerous units the size we ordered without a lock on them closer to the loading dock. I hired movers that you recommended who were great despite the circumstances but I ended up paying them an extra hour for a half hours of work which would have not been needed if we got what we ordered. I was told that Uhaul provides locks but only one u it had one available. Luckily I brought one of my own.

Most of U-haul storage facility has climate control. This is very nice for storing stuff and at timess convenient. Not only that, but they also have security alert, which is also good.

On Friday, March 29, 2024 I went to the U-Haul Storage to pick up a U-Haul Truck to move out of the Storage Space I had been renting. We returned the U-Haul Truck about 9:00 pm instead of 8:00 pm their closing at 8:00 pm and was told to drop the keys and two cards into the drop box. Earlier when I talked with one of the store workers I noticed he wasn't as friendly as the other person who had giving me the Storage Space back in May, 25, 2023! Today, Tuesday, 4-2-24 my storage release date was e-mailed to me.

My storage unit had a massive Mice infestation, I cannot believe how badly I have felt about this. My bed was destroyed, and my love seat, they had to be thrown out. Hello, I have been trying to reach manager- Paige Williams at this location for a couple weeks since I vacated the unit, and left a few messages with staff for her to follow up. I had a medical issue come up the day the unit was vacated, and was not able to discuss insurance claims with her as planned. There was a serious rodent infestation issue in my unit creating a lot of damages, additional costs and issues. I was surprisingly still charged for the month, regardless of this disgusting and unacceptable rodent infestation. UPON MOVING MY BELONGINGS I COLLECTED 5 TO 6 SACKS OF U-HAUL TRASH BAGS FROM MY UNIT. MY BED FRAMES WAS USED AND DAMAGED. SOMEONE BIGGER THAN ME WORE MY CLOTHES AND DUMPED THEM DAMAGED. I ALSO PURCHASED INSURANCE TO COVER MY BELONGINGS BUT IT WAS REMOVED FROM MY FILE. THE STAFF I SUSPECT DID THE THEFT. AND WHEN ASKED TO REVIEW THE CAMERAS WHO ENTERED MY UNIT THE MANAGER ETHAN REFUSED MANY TIMES. I NEVER INTEND TO EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN. ALSO MY DEBIT CARD IN THEIR POSSESSION WAS UNLAWFULLY CHARGED. THE STAFF AND THEIR FAMILIES DID THE STEALING OF MY BELONGING. I AM ASKING FOR THE MAXIMUM INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR MY STOLEN AND DAMAGED ITEMS.

The limited hours are upsetting for someone trying to move and suddenly locked out from their own unit. Most other storage factors allow 24/7 access. Also there are supposed to be 18 carts for moving and only 2 mattress carts were available, 0 flat beds.

Not happy that there is no refund of unused storage or credit from unused storage when changing units. This has happened to me twice and I should have received a discount of several weeks. Whoever the thief is responsible for this policy should be prosecuted.

Storage was fine. The thing that totally sucked was that they cancelled our truck due to us not picking it up. Yes we thought that scheduling a truck meant that you had it no matter what. We were 3 hours in before we were able to get there. Truck was given away. Staff said they contacted us but we received no text or call or email as far as we could search. I'm going to call that a CYA lie. Too bad, so sad was my impression. Made me feel stupid which is I guess is the customer experience they were going for.

The staff there were I returned the truck and got a unit were exceptional. It was extremely busy but they orchestrated the traffic in the bay and returning trucks like a well oiled machine! J'ai été très impressionné. All the customers were happy because everyone was courtesy and helpful to one another. You rarely see that. I would've thought that people would have been impatient, cutting in front of one another in the bay, parking lot or returning or renting trucks but that wasn't the case at all, the exact opposite 樂 I believe that was due to the outstanding reliance and calm of the staff. The knew the answers to any questions and any problems you had they were quick to resolve it. They went above and beyond.

Not a great site, folks. Bathroom: no trash cans. Very unfriendly staff. 24 hour access would've been nice. If only the people that worked there were cool and having fun - they're not. They've been so unfriendly. I guess it's the big "twin cities" thing. It's sad, and you are obviously not doing something right there. Air circulation: not good - - big dust on things stored in the A/C portion. Overall, a below average / poor experience.

Words can't explain, or describe how amazing the staff is at this location. They were so accommodating and helpful. I've been in customer service for a while now and I wasn't treated like a customer. I was treated like a person almost family. I was facing a serious emergency/crisis and Ethan and Lisa made it possible for me to get my belongings safely and securely. These two deserve 1 million gold stars. . Thank you so much to them and their team for giving me my life back and I wouldn't get a Uhaul from anywhere else. Thank you so much again.

I don't like how you have to park and load everything on carts to unload/load. We had to wait a long time to be able to pull out truck up to the loading dock area. That party is extremely unconventional. Too much extra physical work and very time consuming. The staff are all wonderful though..

I called the location on Sunday 7/2/23 to advise that I would not be able to start a storage unit that day to to a Uhaul truck mechanical issue outside of my control. I spoke to the PM manager William Wiley. He did not ask for any of my information to pull up the reservation and did nothing to ease the concerns I had about securing my items once I finally made it to St Paul. Upon arrival to drop off the one way truck rental I asked for a manager to discuss and note my file regarding the air conditioning not working for the entire trip of near 500 miles and to let someone know that the truck was not running well. As soon as my son and grandson walked into the Uhaul office the employees were told that they were supposed to say that they know nothing if Lisa asks any questions because she is recording everything. The manager repeated this to each employee by yelling this across the store with me and my family standing there. After unloading the truck I spoke with the PM manager Will who didn't pull anything up and didn't seem interested and advised me to go online to submit a complaint. Both experiences were unacceptable and very unprofessional. I plan to move my belongings again asap because they don't feel secure or safe nor does Uhaul deserve my hard earned money.

The staff were super nice and helpful. Wish there were more than just one load in/out area. We ended up having to wait with our U-Haul because it was so busy with other people plus our unit was the farthest away from the loaf in. We had a lot to move and store. Many trips back and forth and it's quite a ways away from the doors.

There's no lights that work so it's hard to see in the unit during the day even. It's nearly impossible to get 24 hours added to the account I moved in late and was told my due date could be pushed out 10 days but still has not been The garage is always full of the company's vehicles that are even being currently rented making access limited and hard

I wish to draw your attention to the very sketchy manner in which my original experience with UHaul was managed in . . . Was it January? Specifically, i booked the original transaction online at what I would call a usual and decent price, but when I got to the store the Price charged was VERY different, by hundreds of dollars. It was as if the store was being managed by a gang. And . . . I had to call repeatedly and WORK at getting the price adjusted. It undermined my faith in UHaul. Please examine this transaction to learn of there was skullduggery involved, a problem with your system, or a problem with one or more employees.

The company failed to inform me that I needed to use a round lock on my storage locker and I used a u-lock. The storage company then came along and put their own lock on there and did not notify me in any way. They claimed that they called and left messages they did not. When I told him that I needed the lock removed they then proceeded to explain to me their policy multiple times but I did not need to know. When I had called to ask about the situation one lady hung up on me another one called me back 5 minutes later and told me that it wouldn't be a problem to remove the lock and then someone else called me 5 minutes after that to explain the reason for the round lock. They did try to make me purchase the lock that they put on the locker which I refused. When I arrived at the office I asked them to remove the lock and they refused until a random person claiming to be an assistant manager came along. This company denied me access to my unit for reasons I cannot explain. Nowhere anywhere does it say that I must use their lock They delayed me for a week about a policy they didn't mention, and then while I was getting the lock removed they only gave me one key which means that they held on to the second key for that locker. And of course the person who unlocked my locker told me that they had just recently had about 20 break-ins I don't know why you think any would want to use the service at that location

My overall experience with this location and staff was exceptional! Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Facility is well maintained and I never had any problems. I appreciated that my items were well taken care of and secure. Should I need these services again, I will definitely use the Como location.

We have been customers since 2017. We autopay on time every month. I recently got an email confirming we had "moved out". We had not. I called the facility and was told "someone put in and order to clear it out and it had been claimed by another customer." We had not done this. After a few minutes a woman got on the phone and offered a free month to us for the troubles. But it sounded like our property had already been removed. She said it was still there and we didn't need to worry. I haven't been able to get over there this week but I'm concerned things could be missing. How was someone able to close out our account and move our property? Not a great experience. I will ACTUALLY be closing out and removing our property as soon as possible.

I thought it would be nice if all trucks sizes had a ramp and to not be charged for the Dolly just let them be in the truck. I also, thought it would be a great help if an attendant were at the Storage dock to assist elderly/seniors with the card entrance/exiting especially when dealing with more than one card!

Ethan, the manager, took time to explain to me, the benefits of renting from U-Haul storage on a previous visit, and yesterday I was helped by Lisa, I believe, who got me through the registration process quickly, and took care of some service questions after I went to my space. I was also helped by a member of their staff with some questions about where to find my lock for the space and how to use the security key cards. Very professional, and I was very impressed with the service.

The person checking us in was clueless regarding the condition of the trailer. It resulted in a dangerous situation of the door opening during transit and our furniture falling out onto the road. Upon return the manager was less than concerned but eventually credited the rental. The woman checking us into our storage area was very good. She was the only person there that lifted a finger to help us.

The staff at this locations are terrible. They don't communicate how to use the doors or access the units - you just have to figure it all out. They aren't helpful friendly. Give one word answers and don't offer solutions or suggestions. One staff person opened the door as my teenage daughter was trying to put the truck key in the return slot after we rented a truck & slammed into her… didn't apologize, say excuse me or anything. He just looked her up and down like she'd just hit HIM with the door. The storage unit itself was clean, the temp was correct, access was easy & the overall facility was well maintained, besides their always being u-hauls & the same vehicles parked in the loading bays leaving only 2-3 lanes available for customers. That said, regardless of the facilities - the terrible staff here mean I'll never use or recommend this location.

The employee Ethan was rude when we arrived to check in. He was impatient and not willing to help or find a solution to our situation and escalated the tension. He then threatened to cancel the reservation for the moving truck on the day of my move in. After moving out of the storage unit, my mom called to pay and end the lease. I received an email from Ethan weeks later saying there was overdue balance and the unit was not paid for which was false since it was already taken care of. I am very unhappy with our experience here and would not recommend anything other than buying boxes.

Missing a lock inside the unit - had to go back to the desk twice to get a lock for the rental unit. Overall, staff were easy to communicate with and the only real challenge was lack of parking for the duration of the truck rental (also from Uhaul).

There was rat poops everywhere and no food of mine was stored in there. No lighting was available above my unit so we could hardly see what we were doing. The light on the hallways would automatically turn on but non above the units. I called to ask a question about renting a truck from this location and the guy on the phone could not be understood as his sloppy English was so bad I couldn't understand a word he was saying. It was a busy day, but the staff was helpful. But there was someone on a vape pen at the front desk while working? I totally support that on a smoke break or even if they moved outside, but it seemed a bit unprofessional to be doing that at the front desk while the office was still open (indoors) while serving customers. But that would be my only real complaint.

The storage facility was perfect for my short term storage needs. I was also surprised how comfortable this storage facility is. The indoor loading dock is convenient, has plenty of light and comfortable. Various cart are provided to move your stuff easily.

I couldn't find my storage space number on the paper and I was not told when they printed out for me. And then I was trying to help myself hard to find the room. I was exhausted and try to reach them to ask he said we are out of the clock. And I missed out that day to get in because I couldn't know where the room is at, plus I didn't receive that help I deserved it.

I went there and didn't know exactly what I needed for my vehicle and rental unit. I told them exactly what I paid for already. I was only given a key for the vehicle and almost left and had to go back in and ask about the unit. They realized they did not give me everything I needed so then I had a key for the unit. That night I went to the storage space and there were homeless people roaming the indoor spaces. I did not know how to find or operate the building, no one was answering calls for assistance. Poor experience overall.

Roderick Cason (I hope I spelled that correctly) made my move in and drop off of equipment as easy and efficient as possible. I had had problems with my reservation due, I believe, to errors made in Winnipeg, where I picked up the truck. I was frustrated by the additional stresses those problems caused en route to Minneapolis. Roderick's professionalism and sincerely caring attitude turned my mood around within minutes. He is a fine young man and a tremendous asset to the company, and that branch in particular. Merci.

All staff members I've interacted with over the past few days have been very willing to help - in particular Lisa - when navigating busy phone lines, answering questions, dealing with stressed-out customers, and new employees who appear to be still in training and not yet "in the know." I would recommend telling new employees to communicate to customers that they will help FIND the answer vs. the "I'm new" and throwing their hands up in the air. It does not instill confidence or empowerment to them, or your clients. That said, everyone has been friendly and polite to me. Merci.

24 hour access like the store outing crystal would have been nice since I had a smaller unit here and was paying the same price as I was there. That and the lighting kinda sucks when the light on the rows are on it's still way to dark in the units but what sucks is how short the timer is on them. Having to go out of the unit and jump around just to trip the motion light was very inconvenient. But the staff is awesome here, the place is very well maintained, and it feels very secure, not once was I worried about my safety or my stuff.

Because of the storage place a Los things they kept cutting the locks and changing the locks I think it's a scam so they can get paid for the locks they lose the keys when they change the locks so you'll have to buy new ones with your upgrade it make you pay more for locks. Had to cut lost twice to see if they don't lie to my face would never ever come there again

I was assisted by Josiah and Lisa. They both went above and beyond to help me choose between UBox and UStorage options. I am from out of state (Las Vegas NV) so this decision was stressful for me, but they made it easy for me to come to a firm and resolute decision. Josiah even lent me his personal tool set so I could socket wrench apart some of my pieces for storage. This is by far one of the cleanest UHaul Storage facilities I've ever experienced. Every staff member I encountered seemed happy to be there and eager to help. I particularly appreciated the loading dock option and the 24 hour access indoor garage loading option to keep me out of the 5 degree snowy weather. I highly recommend this facility.

Simply awful behavior by current manager. After his disparaging attitude and behavior toward me I said that he was being patronizing to me. He glared at me and walked away despite not finishing transaction. I reapproached him and he said that I had called him a name. Not so. He then told me to leave and return if I chose. I calmly but assertively requested his manager's contact info. He refused. Men in line looked shocked. I went to my car and returned a few minutes later. He then transformed into a different personality. Very odd !! Very spooky man.

Overtime I have appreciated U-Haul compared to his competition like for the past decade or so it has become clear to me that this office, that's the intersection of, and 280, is superior and just about any way to any competition within U-Haul or from outside. The storage is just one more thing that they're doing very well and it ties in very well with renting their vehicles. There need to be clear signage in the building regarding after hours access. We were locked out during our move in with our unit still open inside with belongings in it. It would have been nice to been given either an announced warning the doors would be locking or at the very least have the time the doors lock posted on the access entry. I do realize that the hours are in the email that is sent but after spending 2 straight days moving a lot of people are not going to read through the email they just want to get finished with their move. Other than that the the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and the location is clean and security seems to be a priority. There were also plenty of carts to help get our belongings in.

I moved out on 7/20 then was charged for my unit that was billed on 7/27 as well as a late fee and an embarrassing letter stating that I didn't pay my bill was sent to my emergency contact. He was patient and kind and very supportive to my needs. This store on como ave in Minneapolis/St. Paul area is advertised as a 24 hr storage unit, so I got there at around 7pm right as the office was closing down for the day, yet I managed to get service and I got to rent a unit for my stuff. However as I was wrapping up my move, I still had just a couple of things to bring when all of a sudden the door locked on me and couldn't come in anymore having to leave a lot of my stuff unattended all thru the night and Im glad nothing got stole, but I feel like this happened because any of the ppl that worked there did not tell me anything about it. That is not even the whole problem. There is a phone number on multiple signs that say to call the gm for after hours service, but the phone would go straight to voicemail making this situation a lot more frustrating and unnecessary that it needed to be. I even called costumer service for help and they couldn't even reach this guy and or couldn't help me at all. I wasted over 3 hours dealing with this that day and at the end I just gave up and left only to come back in the morning just to secure the unit I just rented. You guys need to be more clear about you overnight policy or at least tell your customers about it. That didn't have to be as frustrating and difficult like it was that night/morning. Merci

Overall the experience went fine. However, I did have a "hickup" that really should be addressed. When I rented the truck and took advantage of the storage unit deal, I asked specifically about 24 hour access. I knew that I would be moving late into the night so this was important. I was told I had 24 hour access. This was not the case. At 10pm the dock sliding doors locked me out. Here I was with a partially loaded truck, carts in the passage near my storage and my storage door open with no access. I pushed the After-Hours intercom button, no answer. I called the After-Hours number for Matt Underwood, no answer and directed right to automated voicemail. I then called the customer service number, obviously no answer there. I then called the alarm company who was able to give me the number to someone else, This person did answer and was able to grant me access. He did explain however that 24-hour access is a PAID service the I did not have. This is something that should have been explained by the counter rep who checked my out. I don't have to explain the stress and concern this experience caused me Since obviously I couldn't simply leave. Perhaps this can be used as a coaching opportunity for your employees.

Office for registration/ checkin OK, but there should be a separate checkin and waiting area for storage versus vehicle rental customers...and a posted outline of checkin for BOTH types of customsrs.Current construction makes finding anything difficult so you need to compensate by posting in big print process for each customer type. ALSO EACH STORAGE CUSTOMER MUST RECEIVE A LARGE PRINT.COPY OF THE LEASE BEFORE BEING ASKED TO SIGN IT. LAST COMMENT ....hire a Minnesota lawyer to look at your Lease. Excellent security measures and the long access hours is a nice perk. Hallways and loading areas are clean but pest control is lacking. Although the rodent bait traps are present in each unit, I still found a considerable amount of mice droppings inside my unit. Having the normal entrance blocked off by construction makes it difficult to access, which isn't really an issue but it would have been nice to have an announcement sent out with instructions for alternate route access or at least better signs directing people where to go. I wasn't able to reach the office by phone so I had to drive all the way there to get answers. Matt has always been helpful and friendly but it's iffy otherwise. It gets the job done but it's not worth the high price of the unit especially compared to the other options in the area.

I am always pleased with this facility. Check in for picking up truck and getting set up for storage unit is quick and easy. Love the loading dock! Facility is always clean and neat, staff is great! I have had the need to utilize U-haul twice in the last month. First was for a van rental in Fargo, ND to move a small apartment. The second was for a truck rental for another small move plus a storage unit in St. Paul. I must say, I was blown away both times by the customer service and the technology of checking out and returning the vehicles. In regards to storage, the carts provided were a back saver and the ease, the security in place, and the cleanliness of the unit were very impressive. Applause to the guys at Main ave in Fargo and to Kellen at the Como location in St. Paul. Impressive.

I am a student and affected by the coronavirus during my move as it made everything much more difficult. I had only two people to help move into the storage unit and one to move out. I received several emails saying I would get one month free but when I asked the person working about it, they said I had to say something about it when I first secured the storage unit. This is contradictory to the offer and the $121 for the unit is needed in the moment of a pandemic.

You have one of the best storage facilities I have used over multiple cities and 36 years of military service. I think the security and access controls are very good. The facility is clean and easy to navigate. Two areas to comment on: first, I had a handicap accessible unit which I chose for location, but the smaller door makes lighting very poor. Second, the price increased during my two years of use, and eventually drove me to find alternate storage.

This facility was secure and temperature controlled. My belongings stayed safe for a full year. My only complaint is that many of my belongings were stained or contaminated by rodent feces/urine.

There was no ramp to bring a cart down inside. You had to exit, re trigger the outside door and push your stuff up to your vehicle- on a slope. And the yellow stops made it hard to lower stuff.
