I stored my RV at clinton storage with the understanding that i would have power for two hours a day to keep batteries charged up. For two years in a row that was not the case and i lost my batteries. Last year my rv was broken into. Both these things werebrought to the attention of the manager I was yelled at and treated with disrespect I will never do business at tge location ever again Very rude person working there

The only issues I had was for 220 a month it shouldn't have felt like I pulled the car from a swamp, and the fact that one can't reserve a unit for next winter. The moisture thing is understandable seeing as it's just a steel box next to the Nashua River.

They misquoted our rate from when I booked it over the phone from 0,79 cents a mile to $1,29 a mile when we picked it up and were extremely rude when we called this morning.

Trailer was not cleaned out various metal objects left in trailer from previous renter includes metal, nuts, bolts, knives, forks, lighter etc... my kids almost fell on a steak knife not happy

I had no interaction with these people. YOUR app and YOUR website SUCK and this experience was nothing but hell AND you owe me money. Because you said $31 less if I dropped off in Clinton. My confirmation when I set this all up said ~$80 but when the pick up location charged my card it was over $140. Complete bullshit. AND your app kept crashing, so the checkout experience cut me off. I took a ton of photos on my phone and called for help/to complain. AND it's ridiculous I'm being charged for ~16 miles over when the closest pick up was 11 miles away and the drop off you sent me to was 10 miles away. So you do the math. I want someone to handle this ASAP. Oh, and the app wouldn't let me setup my account on the first try bc it said I tried TOO many times. I hit the button once. But then the website was fine. However, a million other things were shit on your website and only worked on the app. This whole thing sucked, I will never use you again, and yes I will tell every soul I know.

I would ask that the folks on the 800 line make it more clear that one HAS TO store it on a specific day. That was not clear to me & the person on the phone chose the day so I got a call making it sound like we'd lose the spot if we did not drive over & store it immediately.

The Agent should already know if their equipment is rentable or not and not have to discover the ability to rent stand-alone equipment like an appliance dolly based on possible Serialization of that equipment.

My stuffed got stolen and no responsibility was taken from Uhaul I was told my stuff wasn’t properly stored thankfully the police found my stolen items worth around 60 thousand dollars no a really good experience after renting 9 plus years and I was even treated like I got something to do with the stolen stuff so the didn’t have to take responsibility don’t rent in Clinton if you don’t have to

The gate is always broken so anyone can just drive inside anytime they want. This is a constant reoccurrence. There is a new store manager now so perhaps this will be fixed. But the last 2 years od renting storage, the gate was constantly stuck open. Can this be fixed?

The seats of our rental van smelled awful, but we didn't realize until we had sat on them for a while so we couldn't turn around to return the van. We had to cover the seats with towels, and had to change our clothes to avoid the worst of the smell. We traveled with the windows down when we could. When we complained on our return, we were given no apology, no refund for the inconvenience, and claims that. they couldn't smell anything. We spent over $320 - not a small amount and I think we should have been given a rebate of some kind, no matter how small, to show good intent. We wont be using this Uhaul location in the future. Too bad because we have rented from this location often and have always been happy.

The front tires were bald and with thunderstorms and rain I was very afraid to drive the vehicles.. so I completely lost a day of rental until the next day ( it was a 3 day rental) the store did give me credit for one day so I was happy about that, it wasn’t her fault but I B do believe safety should be more a priority

This rental was ridculously expensive and the trailer states it is economical. Pulling this trailer with my 2022 Ford Edge caused double the gas comsumption adding to the already high price for the rental. When I set up the dropoff, I told the agent that I wanted the southmost location in Leesburg, FL. She set up Pearl Paint which was another 4 miles north of the requested location and much more difficult to get in and out of.

I just love Carol & Christine & Robert in the Clinton Uhaul. They are so accommodating and you couldn't ask for a better crew to work for you!! I love the way they treated me so much better than the guy that worked here and went to Viet Nam lazy and lazy!! Don't get rid of these role and give them raises you make a lot of money and they deserve it. Think about it!!

Authur Dulong of U-Haul of Ayer was EXCELLENT in ALL respects, and provided superior service, in my home town of Ayer, for years for our motor-home [registered in MA, fully insured and in active use for vacations]. Unfortunately, the franchise owner evicted us, after years of faithful patronage, because he wanted to use the open space to place old, used U-Haul box truck "bodies" in the open spaces to provide additional storage units for sale without building more conventional storage units on the site. This forced us to relocate at considerable inconvenience, and ultimately re-locate to the Clinton facility, 13 miles away.

Carol was absolutely wonderful. However, the truck I rented had not been returned by the previous customer - it was 2 hours late. I got a phone call from "customer service" asking why I had not picked up the truck yet, even though I was on time and waited at the facility for 30 minutes.(l left and waited for her to call when it arrived) Carol looked everywhere for another truck but none were available. She did a great job. Eventually the truck was returned - we went to pick it up and your computer system crashed while she was helping 4 customers by herself. I never received an acknowledgment or discount for the delay. We almost missed our appointment for moving my son into his new dorm. Even though U-Haul has better prices, the hassle was not worth it.

Was called x2 to ask if I could pick up early, even though during the first call I said I could not and they changed it to online pickup, which was fine. Got there, online pickup not working so I had to go in anyway. Had to run my card THREE times to finalize my contract. Then he handed me keys and the truck wasn't even on the lot, it was behind the locked fence and he had to go get it. I left the lot at 1050 for a 1030 reservation which put my whole day behind.

Well for starters you need employees that want to work. I reserved a truck when I got there to get it your employee was on his phone on speaker I had to listen to cursing and yelling through the phone . The next day went to return truck same employee there when I went in again on his phone. Nobody was in there and I had to ask him to check in my rental so I could get my final bill. He didn't seem happy I had asked, he went outside entered the amount of gas and milage . He never looked the truck over for damage or to see if the blankets had been returned. And after watching him Not be bothered I had said wow u have it made you didn't do ur job and then parked the truck without cleaning it or sanitizing it. He responded with I don't do shit . My response was I can see that . I was Not Impressed and would never pay someone to do nothing and openly admit it Proudly to a Customer whom was once a GM there 

The app is a bit confusing for the first time user. I wish it would walk you through all the questions you were going to have to answer BEFORE you arrive for your pickup as it took a quite a few minutes to fill out.

When closing out my unit I had paid in full for 3/22 thru 4/22. I closed the unit on 4/13 and was told I would not get any money back even though I did not have the unit for the entire month!!! Not good business practice!

In fact, I used to rent unit 864 in Clinton MA. The bad customer service and the over charges had forced me to leave. Luis Melendez Rivera had by mistake locked my unit so many times and I had to call him to open my place. It's been a rough experience. Unfortunately, I am continuing to receive late notice from Luis Melendez Rivera while I no longer rent. Will you please ask him to do a better job and no longer send those notices?

Rented a unit and the employee forgot to take the universal lock off so when my movers showed up with a truck filled with entire house we couldn't get into unit and the store was closed ! We had to let the moving company leave and go to a different town to unload the entire truck the next day by ourselves. And then he still charged after saying he didn't put the charge through…for the unit we were locked out of. That was 3 days of multiple phone calls to get refunded.

The unit Didn't have the lock removed therefore when the moving company showed up it was locked and office was closed! Horrible experience. Had to keep our belongings on truck overnight and move it ourselves the next day. Rented a unit in another town ! Never again will ai use Uhaul products.

Always a bunch of crickets in the unit. Getting all over your stuff Always broken glass and debri over the driveways. Never enouph staff. On three separate occasions I had to stand there and wait more than a half an hour to talk to someone because there was only one person and they where helping someone else.

1. Motor home was hit and received 6k damage while parked. 2. While we paid rent on our slot someone else was using it while it was vacant. 3. Let a family member use our slot while we were away and they experienced their unit being moved and their new awning was stolen and replace with a damaged old one.

Uhaul is very difficult to deal with sometimes. When you call the branch location no one pick up and customer service is very poor. Also they tend to charge you things that don't need to. Clinton location charged me for cleaning when I never heard of that and I left the unit clean how it was. They still charged me for cleaning. They need to definitely improve customer service!

I started using a unit last October for a future move to the area, it took us this long to find an apartment, 9 months. We had no problems with the safety of the facility. The staff were outstanding in helping me with my needs. I would never hesitate to recommend U-Hall to anyone. We also rented a truck to move with a one way and drop off at this facility so easy!

First they said there was one unit available then when the agent went to check on it it wasn't available. He then said there was another unit available and i should follow him to see it only to find out it wasn't available. Then he tried to offer me a tiny unit which was way too small for my needs so I couldn't take it. Never going back there.

Stellar customer service! Antoine was friendly, pleasant, and extremely helpful. I had an issue with my storage unit and he solved it immediately. Can't speak highly enough about the service. The condition of the unit I rented was poor; I had a leak that caused slight damage to my items (I was switched to a different space once I mentioned it). I do wish the access hours were a bit longer, as I sometimes need to gather things for my business later at night. It's not a huge deal would, but it would be so much more convenient if it was 24-hour access. All in all, I am very happy with my experience.

The staff was great, the rooms do get damp so I did lose some furniture. A tall particle board book shelf (not great material to begin with) it swelled from the dampness. And I also had to dispose of a couch due to mold. I didn't bother to fill out a claim for these items as they weren't great to begin with! If you need to store something long term you may want to find a climate controlled facility. If you just need some space for plastic totes and things of that nature this facility would be perfect. They're so great to work with for renting their trucks also!

Overall security is very good and the RV spots under the roof shelter are excellent for storage. The access road around the RV storage tends to not drain well, gets muddy , and could use some more crushed stone, slope and runoff work.

The facility on High St in Clinton is exceptional. The office is extremely well stocked and neat and organized. What makes this facility so special is the outstanding leadership of Tammy the manager. She is always so helpful and caring to the customers. Moving is a stressful time and Tammy's calming and supportive demeanor always picked up my spirits. She is truly a goodwill ambassador for Uhaul and I am thrilled to recognize her efforts on this post. FYI I used your facility for 2 one way rentals as well as storage. Dan R.

Overall - great people, location and facility. BUT - 1st renter of 2 new units w/ wood floors over dirt. Serious mold after 30 days covered everything. Many items destroyed. Insurance didn' cover

Flooding is a problem I had an inch of water in my unit one day after heavy rain. My unit had alot of videogames and electronics in it so this was very destressing to me.

Paid monthly rent on 1st of mo but moved out on 10th.Manager verbally advised I'd be credited for remainder of mo.This was not honored when I checked out because I was "removed from the system." What?
