Truck was not swept out, we realize after loading and ready to leave our home for another state that the brake-turn signal was not working in the rear drivers side. Called and told just drive it. The employee called back and apologized saying he was the only worker there and said to call the 800 line and they can come out and fix. We needed to leave to make settlement in another state.

Maintain your vehicles properly to avoid accidents. The truck I rented suffered mechanical failures due to lack of maintenance. This could have caused an accident, putting my life at risk.

Lousy rude customer service experience. Was having issues getting my delivery scheduled and when I asked to speak to the manager I was told he doesn't want to talk to you. UHaul corporate stepped in and got the issue resolved but the service at this location was deplorable..

Arrived at U-Haul store (colmar, pa rt 309) 15 minutes early for my reservation which they couldn't keep because the storefront worker had other things going on. Finally jumped into my truck, low on gas and made the mistake of not keeping track of the miles. Like clockwork they charged for 20 extra miles. Emailed the manager and he told me that I should keep track of my mileage. SMH. If you don't want to deal with this level of incompetency, where you are required to do their job for them, then I would check out other stores.

The truck was dirty when i got it, the one side was covered with stains, when I took it back I made sure it was swept down! But they charged me $25 because I didn't map it down ! I have been doing business with UHaul for so long I never had a problem! My bill was already over $300 ! I'm just not happy with that location !

Bruce Thompson runs a great U-Haul! Was very accommodating and understanding when I had to extend the reservation. CORPORATE, GIVE HIM A RAISE! Also, there was another personable man whose last name is Howells who helped me. ALSO GIVE HIM A RAISE!

The moving blankets and dolly being in the truck caused issues with moving things in and out. It should only be in the truck when purchased.

I do not know if it was a pick up location or the drop off location but between the two locations they charged me an extra 118 miles and I did not drive..

Very disppointed that after all the pushing Uhaul does on their website to buy additional products and services that when I showed up the second most important item I ordered (most important is the truck) is NEVER available. Why sell me the option to order an appliance dolly and this location doesn't have them at all.

The team at the Colmar U-Haul are outstanding in delivering the goods and services needed for a seamless do it yourself move. The only improvement would be to improve on-site parking; it's very limited due to the U-Haul equipment blocking parking spaces.

i have been going to the Colmar 250 Bethlehem Pike U Haul location for several years now and while the equipment is always in good shape, i suspect that is true of U Haul in general. what i like about this site is the amazing staff. same people all the time, great to work with, they do their best to deal with schedule changes etc. the prices are great for a small box truck or pick up truck, but as with most businesses, it is the staff that makes the difference. i can only imagine how tough their jobs are with how people behave with rental equipment etc. so hats off to them

The online check in did not work as designed when photos were required for my drivers license but the app would not scan by barcode. We called customer service at 7AM on a Sunday and got connected with a rep and she was very helpful. We eventually had to check in on the website.

They let me go on a late return by about 30-40 minutes which was good and did not get any other charges. Mohammad working at the store was friendly and very helpful.

Melissa and the gentlemen when I picked up were amazing to work with. I've noticed when renting the past few years something always comes up to charge extra or over price. They were honest and very reasonable. Great place!

Dropped off trailer after hours so there was nobody there but the drop of process on the phone was great. Would definitely be nice if there was someone there until about 9 pm for drop offs.

I couldn't tell you how it was because I made no attempt on accessing it. Because I could not get access to an auto trailer tht day of even though equipment n storage was paid w online. I'd recommend you come up with some kind of request a refund tab/button just so you'd have an option to get/give our money back as easily as it was for you to take it. So if it hasn't already happened id like to get refunded please n thank you.

I was so worried my move wouldn't go smoothly. Once I contacted the Colmar location they handled everything. I appreciate their help so much. They were very helpful. They moved my pod right up to a unit so I could easily move everything. Everything was easy and hassle-free.

The stuff in my unit got ruined due a roof leak but because I declined the insurance when I signed up, they were unable to do anything to help.

I would highly recommend this facility. It was always clean and easily accessible. The rates were very reasonable and did not change much over all the years I have been there. Most of the other facilities around the area increase prices every six months and want you pay a year up front. Again I would highly recommend this facility

The facilities are clean and well maintained, and the fees are better than at most places. Access hours are inconvenient, though, specially closing at 10pm is insufficient when one is running late because the truck was made available later than originally scheduled, pushing all other work back three hours. And no, camping outside until 5am the next day is not an option, certainly not when one's home is located 80 miles away.

The unit I reserved was unavailable so I called customer service and talked to 3 people over the course of an hour before being forwarded to the Colmar staff. The best customer service reply I got from Colmar associates answering the phone was "yeah the website sucks for me too and messes up all the time". I said that's not a good enough solution for me and he said "I know the customer service reps on the phone are just sitting somewhere in their home out of state and don't have any idea what it's like to be sitting at a store location and have people screaming at them. I know you aren't screaming at me though". Horrendous reply when I asked for a reservation inconvenience fee. Once at the location, it took 3 workers and 15 minutes to actually get my unit. They miss billed me when I had a first month free and had to change all the paperwork again. I was as patient as I could be after an out of state move to be treated this poorly. Uhaul, do better.

I believe the young man who helped me was Tom. (He had long hair) There was also an older gentleman inside the storage unit who was friendly as well. He REALLY helped me out because I needed to change storage unit sizes.

The men who worked there were fantastic. I managed to lose my keys and then broke off a key in the lock and they were able to help me out both times by removing the locks. Great staff!

Ryan was exceptional and gave us a tour and showed us the units even though the weather was cold and rainy! He even talked about U Haul's history when I asked about the company! The units are clean and very accessible!

I was charged for my first month of storage with my unit, when my UHaul truck rental was supposed to come with a free month of storage rental. I originally arrived to the Colmar Storage with a reservation, but I could not access the unit, and it was still listed as TBD. I called UHaul and was told to book a second storage reservation so that I could gain access, and that the reservations would be combined to give this unit as my free unit. The other unit was cancelled, however, the new unit was never moved to be my free monthly unit. This process took me 2 1/2 sitting outside the storage gate at UHaul in Colmar.

Had to go back to the office 3 separate times to get my access card to work. Online billing said I owed $0 for the month and then charged me a late fee for not paying.

Whoever was working the day I moved things to my storage unit after my move( he was not The employee at the desk.) was wonderful. He helped me check my truck back in because I was having some trouble and he went above and beyond and his customer service exceeded any and all expectations. This was 7/23.

Excessive wait time on the phone. Truck rental was done wrong, billed for 4 days when I only had the truck for 1 hr. It was corrected, but it took time and a few phone calls/waiting to get it done.
