Nicole was amazing. She showed great customer service with awesome professionalism and attitude.
JOSE DLocation - great, clean Staff - attentive, though with three people at the desk, seemed a little overwhelmed when I was in to turn in a trailer. The individual who was supposed to show us where to park the trailer didn't even speak, nor did the person help guide us into the spot where the trailer needed to be parked. Not awful, but not super awesome.
KELEAH SWhen I reserved online I declined the damage insurance so I assumed that I would not be charged. However When I saw the final bill I noticed it had been added! The person who took my info never asked me about it either!

JERRY HLocal employees very friendly and helpful. However, when I reserved a vehicle 6 weeks in advance and am told none are available the day before pickup is unacceptable. This is not the local store's fault but U-haul corporate in the way they operate. You need to do better. Looking at another rental and will probably use Budget or Penske.

RACHAEL SThe particular unit I had was dark and hard to see labels on my products without moving into the hallway or using a flashlight. Overhead there is a light fixture but the lightbulbs have been removed. I asked the staff on three different occasions to put a lightbulb in the light fixture so that I could have adequate light to view my inventory expiration dates and maintain proper stock rotation. They always said they would pass on the request but nobody ever got back to me on why or why not they couldn't help me. It was actually quite frustrating as it was a simple request but I have no idea why nothing happened and why nobody would get back to me with an update on the request. Uhaul was always happy to take my money, but never willing to listen to me the customer.

Also, the assistant who retrieved my rental (whose name I don't remember), was very friendly too. The entire experience was wonderful and fast. I will definitely recommend this site to anyone looking to rent a moving vehicle! The only thing I would desire differently is the mileage charges. The site is located on the farthest side of town from where I needed to use the vehicle; which resulted in most of the miles I was charged for -- I acquired 18 miles, and 14 of the miles were from picking up and returning the vehicle -- so a more convenient location on my side of town would be great.

Not only had they rented out one of the units I had reserved, They had not prepared the other units either !! Needless to say, I was in quite a bind. My truck was there with no place to unload. U HAUL was there for Me !! They had just the unit I needed..Clean & ready. The staff was AMAZING !! "Jes" treated Me with kindness & understanding of My distress & was on top of it ! Not only did they save the move, it was all done within 5 minutes AND....My 1st month's rent was free !!! Take caution to rent from a Reputable company. U HAUL Has Your Back !!! Thank You U HAUL !!!

The truck would not always down shift and would make a screeching noise that made me wonder if it was going to break. To improve? Get newer trucks or send these to the shop for repair.
WAYNE KIn the last three months, billing had become uncomfortable. I would receive three reminders each month telling me that my payment was due, even though I was on a monthly automatic payment plan. I called twice to be sure that my account was not in jeopardy. That is what I moved out.
Sandra E | Expérience généraleHave the unit being rented closer to the office,, it was tricky backing it out with the amount of room that you have, I'm an experienced driver so I was able to do it, but if somebody who doesn't have a lot of experience it would be difficult for them to back to unit out.

I know they watched cameras and patrolled the facility. One time I didn't lock my unit properly and the next morning found they had secured it for me, they promptly removed the lock and showed what I had done which left the door unsecured. That attention to detail is appreciated.

And you have to drive hundreds of miles to get one, even though you promise people at their location. You should be embarrassed and ashamed for this. I will NEVER use U hail again. And I will tell everyone I know NOT too! You get a minus 10 star review. You will be bankrupt soon with this type of management. You stink worse than a stockyard…

When started the rent I setup automatic payment and they didn't get it setup right and tried to charge me a late fee on my first month, which I had to go down there to get that fixed right. Then when I moved out and returned the card and remote 8 days before the next month cycle. I was checking bank account a couple weeks later and was charged for the next month for my empty unit I had closed and they had cleaned. I had to go back and get them to reverse the charge, which I shouldn't have had to do.

Although I rented my unit online I had to go into the office to get things clarified. After I had stored my stuff, I had to call to get instructions how to open the overhead door. Went in to check when my payment was due and some kid started asking a bunch of questions about my storage unit l have had a unit with you since you opened that facility He told me I couldn't get in without this new card I had been using a code He said I got an email explaining that you had stopped the codes for entering about a month ago. Well I never got an email of this type ( was not happy )I used this unit as a business storage and many times was after 7 pm but before the 10 pm cut off to stop on my way home to drop off product This was not the case this time so I was lucky. I am not sure but there have been at lest 5 different people as mangers since I started renting there anyway I went to call back to see if I left a month early if my money for April ( which was paid in Dec of 23 would be refunded. Waited in the phone for over 40 minutes and no one answered call the other store and did get a I think so but not sure. I went back total cleaned out unit went to front desk and ask if someone could come with me to make sure it was cleaned to there liking and he told me he had no one there to check it I went and took pictures to show him but I guess he found somebody and was cleared Overall it had been a great experience except the last couple days and the feeling from employees owell we really don't care how you feel

I don't know if I skipped a step in the process, but I was expecting the unit to be open and a lock to be in the unit. We called the desk and was able to go inside and get the lock.

This is illogical since it was a U-Haul box to U-Haul storage transfer. If the box was allowed to be dropped inside the bay this would have made my storage transfer easier.

They almost never roll up when you get there and also there really should be some sort of warning for people trying to back into a roll up door so they know that unit is occupied and nobody else has damages to there cars by a uninsured driver , otherwise it's a great clean safe storage . I ended up with a unit in the very back of the building very far from all doors, which made moving in difficult. I was happy to discover carts to haul our stuff with because the unit was so far from the entrance. There were no instructions on how to check in and out and how to turn on security for the unit. No posting stating that checking out was turning on security, but signage stating that not turning on security would result in a lock out, leading to worry of being locked out of the unit due to no way to turn on security.

Already out of my unit and wasn't offered half of that month back that I paid for when I no longer have a units! The customer service isn't helpful at all and get lead on a goose chase but I'm still expected to pay full amount when I don't get anything near the amount of services, I was told I would get, but never received. Probably will never do business with U-Haul storage ever again unless you have something to fix this other than that, you have a lot to work on and less you are going to give me some of my money back, I suggest she just uses his food for thought, and do not reply to me, because I have nothing nice to say to you or your company. Thanks for the terrible service and having to pay for things. I was promised that I never received like being able to go to my storage units whenever I needed to go there not when you allow me to.

I confirmed that the storage was outside and asked again if I needed to swipe in for an outside unit. "Yep." I asked where it is and what the process was "It's over there. Just swipe it." He also gave me a storage unit and when I went to check it out, it was already occupied. Great facility. Good system. Friendly but rather incompetent service.

Christy V | Expérience généraleThe "acting general manager" a 40's plus lady with a green general manager shirt on, wanted to help us. Very nice lady but didn't seem like she knew or understood what to do as far as operation of how to create a lease on our storage shed. I would expect that a GM would already know how to navigate the computer processes without having to rely on her staff that she is supervisory to. The two other staff present understood more of how things worked and could tell the manager what to do. Literally it seemed as "the Pee-Ons where telling the Pisser how to, and wich way to Pee". She - the Manager, was very nice and polite, very humorous and down to earth, but was not very knowledgeable. The other two guys where very friendly and customer ready. Good luck Uhaul.

I've rented multiple trucks and trailers from U-Haul and on two occasions I took advantage of the free month storage; on both of these occasions I completed the reservations online and received confirmation and on both occasions when arriving at the facility, they had no reservations in their systems and I've had to complete the process again in the store. This is very inconvenient and a waste of time.

The next day I accessed the unit, but forgot to enter my code. I apologized when the attendant showed up in response to the alarm, he explained the issue, explained the access points and how to obtain assistance if needed. He got us into a larger unit, but I'm glad we were there during office hours. It's a very busy place, difficult to maneuver around other trucks to get to our unit. Climate controlled is a plus. I was in the process of settling the final bill when the general manager Tom Lambert came over and informed me that I was in the wrong parking spot (as if that matters. A parking spot is a parking spot.) I told him that we were done anyways. We weren't coming back. I was expecting some kind of thank you for your business or a have a good day. Nope! Tom just turned around and left. I guess customer service is not important to him.
