There was a leak at some point over the year I stored my stuff because some of my boxes were wet
AVRIL H | Expérience généraleThe trailer I received should have been retired and replaced. I did a very long move from Texas to California. I went through severe storm. My belongings got wet. There were boxes and my boxes were all wet. I trusted U-Haul to give me a clean, dependable trailer to protect my belongings and I was given this trailer. The inside looked like it had been glued together with hot glue. The trailer dropped down so low that it hit every bump and I had so much trouble driving it up even leveled ramps
MARIA CEven though I had made a reservation and filled out all my information online including getting an alternative drop off location in Keller, I still had to re-provide a bunch of info that should have been in the reservation made online. The attendant I spoke to couldn't figure out how to get the drop off location indicated by my original online reservation, and changed the drop off location to something like "customer unsure" and told me to call the number on the paper I was given to contact scheduling so they could tell me where to drop the truck. I explicitly asked, since I was planning to drop the truck the same night - would the number pick up since I would be calling after business hours. The attendant told me the phone line was open 24/7. When I called, a robot on the phone told me to call during business hours. I took the truck and trailer to a location in keller and scanned the QR code and wound up finding an alternative number (800) 468-4285, which I called and the person who picked up was completely unhelpful, she told me that none of the keller locations were accepting dropoffs despite my online reservation giving me a discount specifically for dropping off in keller, and told me to call scheduling. I said I tried scheduling and they don't take calls after business hours. Nothing she did ultimately lent to fixing my issue, and she just kept repeating the same "call scheduling they're open during business hours" line. I don't know if she was unequipped or just unwilling to escalate my issue so that I could actually get my problem fixed. Ultimately I took the truck to the location I picked it up, tried the QR code again and all it said for dropoff was to park, secure, and drop the keys in the box, so I did that and called the dropoff location again in the morning to ensure they didn't mess with my order or charge me extra, which they didn't, but this was all in all a very aggravating experience.

DOUGLAS BElevator was out on the day I scheduled to move my items out in coordination with three pods being delivered. I had no other option than to remove my items from this storage unit using the stairs in order to stay on my schedule. Not having the elevator was very detrimental to my moving process and caused an inconvenience to the process.

James FStaff was friendly and efficient. Rented truck EL 1044D (17ft truck) needs maintenance. The passenger-side mirror assembly is broken, mirror wouldn't stay in place. This was a MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE while driving, especially on the highway (completely blind on the right side of the vehicle). The automatic transmission gear transitions were inconsistent while accelerating; for example, the truck would stay in 2nd gear at a far higher RPM than what it should have been, and the only way to get the truck to properly shift was to momentarily let off the accelerator completely. In addition to being a serious safety issue, especially at highway speeds, this also reduced fuel efficiency which burned excess fuel and increased my renter cost. TRUCK EL 1044D SHOULD NOT BE ON THE ROAD UNTIL THESE ISSUES ARE ADDRESSED.

HAROLD BWe have rented from this location several times and have not had any issues. Everyone has been helpful and courteous. The only improvement I have is regarding return of a tow-behind unit. I typically rent the enclosed, double-axle units and they will not stay in position in the return area when unhooking from my truck. I park it next to the return area because the grade is less, and I also chock the wheels. I may be doing it incorrectly, but I don't see a way to lock the trailer wheels before unhooking it from my truck. I'd suggest that you advise customers of this when picking up the unit, or confirm how to lock the trailer wheels, to avoid any roll away incidents. I have no reservations about renting from this location. It is my go-to location when I need a unit in town.

Raymond G | Premières impressionsRented a vehicle transport trailer hydraulic brakes failed out of town and I was unable to use the trailer, called u haul they sent a service technician to inspect trailer and found leaking hydraulic system and bad trailer wiring. Uhaul was contacted and would not send replacement trailer and I was told to leave trailer there for pick up. I was out 80 in fuel cost and 5 hours waiting! did not get to use trailer and had to drive back home to rent again a trailer from U HAUL but did not get full refund of first rental and NO compensation for my fuel loss or time! but if customers do not refuel U HAUL vehicles upon return they are charged double the normal fuel cost! You just lost a great customer, Thankful for social media U haul just lost many customers

Mark CI have used this location multiple times and am always pleased with the service. The only issue with my last rental, was that there was a hole in the roof of the truck and it was pouring rain, so several of my personal items were ruined. Because I was unaware of the hole and I had the truck loaded full, and then it started raining. It would have been nice to know in advance so I could have protected my things. But nothing was even done about it when I returned the truck.

Friday April 19, I leased a 26ft truck from you facility and was loading the truck when your employee Andrew Ross came onto the dock and started looking through my belongings in which he picked up a leaf blower and began to question one of my hired loaders as to who owned it. The man only knew he was hired to load the truck and nothing else. Andrew then developed an attitude an told the helper he was not allowed to store the blower in the building and was forbidden to enter with the building with the blower. At tha point I told him we were moving the stuff out, not in. Andrew was not only unprofessional, but extremely rude and disrespectful to both the loader and myself. During checkout proceedure Andrew had gone to inspect empty units and we were making our complaint to another Uhaul employee when Andrew walked in and heard us talking. He became very belligerent and asked us if we wanted to step outside and settle this there. I have owned 3 different retail businesses and one of the first things I teach my employees is under no circumstance to ever disrespect a customer and always consult a manager if there is a dispute. I am appalled at the hostile attitude and the manner in which your employee represents Uhaul.

However, there was one glitch this time. The storage unit we rented for several months had a door that we were not able to raise and lower. We had to have one of the staff open it for us. It was still broken on the day we moved everything out. After we moved out, I notified one of the staff and showed him a photo of the empty unit (1074). He told me I was good to go. But I received constant emails notifying me of "Autopayment failure".

I asked about the promotion of a free lock at move in and he charge me for the lock. When I opened the storage unit, there was a lock there. I had to go back to the same employee to get a refund. They make a sincere effort to expedite as promptly as is realistically possible in what can be at times a chaotic environment and even apologize for delays. I know that this review comes across as a padded Review, It isn't and I rarely waste my time on these Type of Review Requests. I haven't completed a Uhaul Review in some time. Occasionally, We need to take a brief moment of our lives to acknowledge the People who ARE doing a Good Job in order to compensate for ALL the frustrated or negative People whom they encounter in the course of their normal Work . Sometimes that one "Thanks, I see the good Job you're doing and I appreciate your efforts ." keeps the beneficial Employee/ Manager so that they are there for You the next time that you need their assistance . Doesn't just apply to this Uhaul... So, this is the part that I try to help and make both My and other Customers Lives better... I fully understand the dynamics involved in the Operations of a Rental/ Storage Operation and why there is a realistic need to add rolling phone coverage for Inbound Calls. However, there are times that Uhaul Corporate Call Center isn't equipped with the Site Specific Knowledge to answer specific customer questions 樂. Perhaps adding a specified Text Capability on a Corporate to Store and Back, would help overcome this aggravating gap in the Customer Interaction Abilities of Customer Phone Calls and the information they are seeking, which is answerable only at a Store Level. I mived out three weeks later, checked out, cleaned unit, removed lock and turned in card. Then I get a bill with a late notice attached. I called and I was told someone would call me back. A week later I have heard from no one.

FREDERICK P | Expérience généraleWe moved my son's apartment into a unit over four years ago. When we recently came to get his stuff, we found a U-Haul lock in a slot next to the lock we put on. When we asked the staff, they said that they did not have the key and that the U-Haul lock was required. He said he had been working there two years and they always require that lock. When I told him that we were not required to get that type of lock when we moved in, he said it was required back then also. Obviously he was lying as he was not there four years ago and I was. I called Diane, the manager to see if they had a remedy but alas more terrible service as she never called me back. Probably too embarrassed by there blatant incompetence. We had to call a locksmith to have the U-Haul lock removed for $173. I would never use this location and warn everyone to stay away.

I moved from another storage facility years ago to this one and have never had a problem. Again, it is a safe place to store your personal and/or business equipment.

ryan m | Premières impressionsOpen a little earlier and little later would fit the average worker. You did have some AC issues early in my stay. I understood that you did a daily walk thru to see if locks were on, people had vacated, etc. That is what I was going on by leaving my card in my spot.

They were above amazing with customer service. The drop of location was the worst experience I have ever had with a business ever. The location itself was clean and tidy. Jarom/ jason not sure exactly his name. ( Light blonde/Reddish fuzzy hair in a bun on his head, wore orange bandana) and the the other man who Claimed to be the assist manager by far worst customer service from those two. You never tell or talk down to your customers. The assistant manager wouldn't reprimand his employee from be obstinate after I asked him several times to stop speaking to me. I even called Diane Talley.....useless ....she just wanted me to use online. I had to continue to tell her employees to stop telling at me so I could even speak to her. The way to this store is run is absolutely ridiculous. I will be calling and filing s formal complaint. They had one employee that went above and beyond to try and fix the situation. Angel May. He apologized even said he was sorry that I shouldn't have been treated like that. You definitely need to go through clean house and hire more people like Angel May. He was really great when the rest of your staff is by far the worst customer experience I have ever experienced.

Both times failed (one cost me as overdue charge) and the other cost me a trip to your facility to establish when the system didn't function.
